I use my desktop for video editing and most of my coding. My laptop is usually for internets and funwow. Oh, and I drain my hours on Elder Scrolls 4 on my desktop.
I have some invites if anyone wants them. It's pretty fun up until a wave gets full and no one deletes the old posts. D: That causes some serious lag and crashing issues when the waves get really large.
If you don't mind running Linux, you might want to look into the programs Ardour, Rosegarden, and LMMS. LMMS is great for a quick splash into music making on Linux (It has some cool Game Boy style synths too :D).
Switched to Google Chrome on my laptop running Sidux. Flash 10.1 beta works like a Dream on Chrome :D. I can finally fullscreen Hulu videos without lag in Linux. :)

I hope we can limit the browser war in this thread, we're focusing on the OS that Google is currently developing which is apparently named "Chrome OS" (So it possibly uses Chrome as the web browser, considering its release on Linux months ago.) I'm a little excited to see how it will perform...
