  • So, me and Bell went over her idea, and combined it with my idea. However, the actual plot needs a bit added I think. =x

    Bleach: The Prequel (Tentative title)

As the name clearly states, this RP will act as a sort of prequel to the popular series. It will take place approximately one year prior to the events of the anime and manga.

    Overview

As a Shinigami of the Gotei 13, it is your duty to uphold order in both Soul Society and Earth. That much is set in stone. However, what if a single encounter ended up involving you in something more? It is your job to discover that much on your own.

While dealing with Hollows in the real world, or even just lying around here in Soul Society, you undertook a fateful encounter with a Shinigami whom of which was covered with a black cloak. The mysterious being muttered but one phrase to you: "Our time is here. We shall rise up and take back what is ours. United with Hollows, we are unstoppable." The being disappeared soon after, and word of the threat was repeated throughout Seireitei. Word of your encounter also traveled, and you were soon summoned to Sokyoku Hill (otherwise known as the execution grounds; where a clash between Byakuya Kuchiki and Ichigo Kurosaki takes place approximately a year and a half later). When you arrived, you found yourself with a group of others, as well as Captains Aizen Sosuke and Hitsugaya Toushiro along with their Vice-Captains. Apparently, things were about to become interesting.

Mission Briefing: Welcome to Aizen Sosuke and Hitsugaya Toushiro's investigation team. You have now been charged with the task of figuring out the connection between the recent increase in Hollow activity with the cloaked Shinigami you've encountered recently. You have all been chosen due to the fact that you have had an encounter with the Shinigami. Even though you are of but an inferior rank, you have been selected for this important mission. You should feel honored to have this privledge. Be warned, however, that your mission is not to be taken lightly. This could prove to be extremely dangerous, and may even cause your death.

    Definitions

For those of you who aren't 100% sure about the elements of the world of Bleach, we give you these helpful definitions courtesy of Wikipedia.

Soul Society: Soul Society consists of two portions, the cities where most people live, called Rukongai; and the walled castle where the spirit world nobility and the shinigami live, known as Seireitei Soul Society is ruled by a royal family, which is protected by a royal guard. Farther down, Central 46 Chambers serves as a supreme judiciary and legislative that is second only to the royal family. The shinigami enforce order in Soul Society as a sort of executive and military branch. All of the above, except the royal family and guard, reside in the Seireitei. The king and the royal family reside in a separate dimension in the very core of Soul Society, which can only be opened with a key, fittingly named the Royal Key. The king's practical role is unknown. The king seems to have no interest in politics and leaves the Central 46 Chambers to such affairs. According to Rangiku Matsumoto, no shinigami in the Gotei 13 has ever seen the king.

Seireitei: Seireitei is in the center of Soul Society, a circular shirō with four main entrances, each guarded by a Gate Guardian. The walls are made of deathstone, a material known to sap all spiritual and psychic energy when one portion is faced in a particular direction, similar to magnetic lodestones. The majority of the residents of Seireitei, nobility and shinigami alike, do not interact with the citizens of Rukongai. However, residents of Rukongai are allowed to apply for the shinigami academy, which is often the only escape from the poorest conditions of Rukongai, such as Renji and Rukia. Some Seireitei residents, such as ex-shinigami Yoruichi Shihouin and the Shiba clan, do maintain residences outside the castle.

Rukongai: Rukongai is divided into 320 districts (80 in North Rukongai, 80 in West Rukongai, etc.), each numbered in descending order on how far they are from the center; this results in the higher-numerated (and farther) districts decaying into slums. Thus, while District 1 is peaceful and lawful (and in many cases resembles the antiseptic lifestyle of early-Edo era Kyoto), District 80 is a hardscrabble, violent, crime-infested area that more depicts Heian era Kyoto. There is no indication that the shinigami or any other agencies patrol the streets of rukongai, and as a result, the citizenry are mainly responsible for their day-to-day welfare.

    Gotei 13:
The Gotei 13 has 13 divisions (hence the name). Although each of the division could have a specialization, there is too little information to reveal most of them. Notably, the 4th Division is the medic/supply division, the 11th Division is the battle division (specialization in swordsmanship), and the 12th Division is the research/scientific division. In the anime it seems that the 13th Division is in charge of controlling access to Earth, but this has not been stated clearly.

Shinigami: Shinigami are purely spiritual beings. As such they can only be seen by other spiritually aware entities, which excludes most humans. Shinigami naturally give off spiritual force (reiatsu), which varies greatly in magnitude with the strength of the shinigami. Travel between the human world and Soul Society is extremely limited and monitored, but some shinigami are stationed in the human world to carry out their duties, and therefore must often travel between the two. In addition, it is a crime for a shinigami to remain in the human world longer than a certain time limit. A shinigami's duties include leading Pluses (ghosts) to Soul Society in a practice called soul burial (konsō), and the cleansing of hollows (evil spirits).

Hollows: A hollow is a plus spirit that has lost its heart, and is driven to devour others (both living and dead) to fill that void. Starting out as a standard human ghost, the transformation into a hollow warps the ghost into a uniquely monstrous form, though all hollows wear a vaguely skeletal mask and have an obvious hole in their bodies. Any Plus spirit that is not guided to Soul Society by a shinigami may eventually descend into a hollow. The process normally takes months or years, as the Chain of Destiny slowly corrodes, reflecting the warping of the ghost's ties to the living world. However, the process may be accelerated under certain conditions (such as the attack of another hollow or through the use of certain spiritual powers).

    Zanpakutou
: Most zanpakutō in their sealed form look like katanas, but the shape and form varies by the person. Zanpakutō are not just weapons, but also sentient beings. They are a shinigami's partner in battle and while they can regenerate if broken, they cannot be replaced. As a shinigami gains power, the zanpakutō can change form by allowing the inner being to manifest itself to a greater degree in the outside world. The sword and the inner being are synonymous to each other. It has also been revealed that since zanpakutō are created with the shinigami, they also tend to have a personality based on their owners. Zanpakutō are used to fight hollows and other shinigami as well as to liberate or help pluses ascend to Soul Society.

I still think there's more definition then plot. xDD I think we can lose Soul Society, because if anyone who's watched even the first episode of Bleach should know what Soul Society is. o o; And if you haven't watched the first episode of Bleach, honestly, what are you doing in a Bleach RP? xDD

    But nonetheless, you could add 'Division Seat' to the sign-up... I'm not sure if that would really matter though. < <;

  • Not trying to be negative, good plot and all, but if you are approached by the cloak figure and you dont tell anyone, since "Word of your encounter also traveled, and you were soon summoned to Sokyoku Hill" , would mean you could be accused of being a accomplice rather then being chosen as a part of the investigation team.

Not necessarily. If you ran off and notified a higher power right away, most suspicion would be non-existant. Even if the suspicion was there, it would be all the more reason to have you on the team to keep an eye on you, no?

This is unrelated to any of the posts before hand but it might be an issue for some of the RP's being discussed here. My main quarrel with RP's is the interaction between characters that aren't solely dialogues. In terms of fights and battles between characters, much like in Naruto and Pokemon RP's, is there a justified way of determining a winner in battles? Or is it better to let the people participating decide how the battle concludes?

I've utilised a random selection method in determining a winner between two characters whenever a fight or a large-scale confrontation occurs. I would randomly select one person in the battle to be the victor and PM both of the characters fighting to tell them who would win. Then the characters in the battle or fight will continue posting until the fight ends based on the random selection.
I've tried this method before on another RP forum and it didn't work too well. There appeared to be some allegations and queries on the bias of my selection since during the last RP I started. Whoever would lose the battle had to leave or quit the RP. So admittedly, the RP wasn't exactly popular.

I'm not sure how the RP-er's are like on this forum when it comes to character x character battles and RP elimination, so I was wondering if I could get some advice.

    Well, you'll notice that whenever a battle start in the RP's here, they never really...end. I've been in a battle before, and the opposing enemy told me that he would like to lose, and so that was that. o o; But in that case, he wasn't getting kicked out. < <;

I'd say that you might want to let the RPer's decide, tell them that- NO. YOU CAN'T HAVE A FUGGIN TIE. And that ONE of them has to be determined to die before this # of posts. Or else you'll pick for them. ^^

(Btw, Niwa, your avatar set is absolute WIN. I'm jealous. >O)

@ Niwa: Because I can, I'm going to answer too. < <; Anyway, Origin's right, but what we had intended was that our characters saw the figures, so we knew how to identify them. It's easier to find something you've seen before then something that's been described to you, right? ^^ Right! *shot*

    Plot:

The National League is an organisation that operates through the holding of annual tournaments within each commercial region. Each tournament is sponsored by the National League and in return, each region advertises the NL during their respective ceremonies. Current commercialised regions include Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. Each region has held a Pokemon League tournament from which a champion has been decided. Past champions of a Pokemon League tournament are commemorated through the induction into the Hall of Fame. This is where the greatest of trainers are acknowledged for their superior skill, strength, and wisdom. The Hall of Fame is forever, and is the main goal of many aspiring Pokemon Trainers.

The latest Pokemon League tournament has been announced by the NL board to be held upon the region known as Sky Island. The region is relatively unknown but is said to hold one of the grandest cities in the world. It sits several hundred kilometres north-east of the Orange Archipelago. Open ocean surrounds the island providing a clear path from all directions to and from the inner metropolis. The island's main landmarks are its patented Pokemon League stadium and corresponding Hall of Fame.

Sky Island's grand celebrations for the upcoming tournament have introduced daily festivals and supporting events. Shops, restaurants, hotels, and even hot springs, have all become available to the island's guests during the tournament's proceedings. The league date has been set and the support for the first official Pokemon League tournament is immense. Pokemon Trainers and spectators alike are gathering to Sky Island to witness the NL's latest project.

    Your Role:

Pokemon Trainers, who have shown progressive skills and potential in their field of expertise, have been chosen to compete within the tournament via special invitation. You and a number of other Pokemon Trainers have been invited to this tournament to participate and to exhibit your individual abilities. You will be participating within the events of the Sky Island's Pokemon League tournament as an upcoming, humble, or self-devoted trainer with the hopes of becoming a champion, either as a professional or personal accomplishment.

    Rules:

    1. Pokemon battles will occur between characters in this RP. You and your opponent will decide who will win the battle and post accordingly. If neither of you can come to a decision for who will win or lose the battle, I will decide for you.

    2. During Pokemon battles, if a winner or loser is not decided after 10 posts describing the battle, I will decide who will win and who will lose. (The 10 posts limit is counted for both you and your opponent together.)

    3. There can be up to two Pokemon battles being posted at a time. However, each post describing the battle must contain a counter and the participating characters' names. The counter will show how many posts have been made since the beginning of the battle. Each post you make starting, during, or ending a battle must be marked with a counter and the appropriate characters' names. (The first post of describing the battle between Alter Ego and Bijou for example, will have "Counter: 1, Alter Ego x Bijou" at the end/beginning of the post. The second post of describing the battle between Alter Ego and Bijou for example, will have "Counter: 2, Bijou x Alter Ego" at the end/beginning of the post. This will help keep track of how long the battle will go on for.)

    4. After a Pokemon battle, the winner will progress further into the tournament while the loser will be removed from the tournament. The character who loses may continue to post as a spectator or leave the RP entirely.

    5. You cannot use legendary Pokemon. These include: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, and Deoxys.

    6. You cannot use any fourth generation Pokemon from the Diamond/Pearl series.

    7. You must have six Pokemon during the tournament and they cannot change.

    8. There can be no relations to characters from the manga, anime, or other related Pokemon services. This is an OC (original character) RP with Pokemon concepts.

    9. There may be excessive descriptions of violence during the RP. If that bothers you, then do not opt to join.

    10. Spelling, grammar, and vocabulary are important. Make sure your posts are adequate so that they are legible and understandable.

    11. All posts must be written in the third-person perspective.

    12. Standard PC rules apply.

    13. Read the rules and make sure you understand them. If you don't like them then don't join. That means you should understand that people will be removed from the RP due to the structure of the plot, and if that's you, do not complain. You have been warned.

  • Um... nice plot, Toomi, says a lot with a few words. See you there.

Anyway, begin now I do with plot of my own, silly humans! (Note- this is based on a game I used to play with my friend when I was younger, so it will seem a bit odd, and it is. There are similarites to certain animes, but this is not intended to be an anime clone.)

Many years ago, the land of Aramani was a succesful country, and a world superpower. This, however, was before it was forced to fight a series of costly wars, and hire mercenaries in order to supplement its flagging armed forces. With the help of these mercenaries, the war was won- however, the country no longer had the money necessary to pay the soldiers they had hired. Angered, the mercenaries took over and stormed the treasury, only to find that it was empty. With nowhere to go and no possesions to speak of, most eventually decided to remain in Aramani and seek work there. This, however, became the country's undoing. With a rise in population and an empty treasury, they had no way of supporting themselves, and were forced to raise taxes. With the burden of such a heavy tax, many businesses folded and thousands became unemployed, and with no way to find work. That was when the crime wave began- within the space of a few years, Aramani went from economic paradise to dunghill. With no way to keep criminals in check, the government began to despair- that is, until the police arrived. Headed by a mercenary leader, the new police force promised to restore order to Aramani, of a sort, within a year. With the government's consent, they immediately began a campaign to bring in freelance workers, known as bounty hunters, in order to track down criminals. The bounty hunters were paid an amount equivalent to a criminal's "rank" which was based on a point system developed by the police's former mercenary chief. Additionally, bounty hunters had their own rank raised for every criminal they caught- the higher your rank, the more you were allowed to do in order to track down a criminal. The job only required a quick physical and a quick demonstration of talent, and became so popular that former criminals began looking for it. The job had one downside, however- the bounty hunters were forced to pay taxes. Within a few years, the government treasury had been replenished, the police force was the highest organization in the country next to the council of officials, and the police force relied on bounty hunters to take care of their dirty work.

However, a new threat to the land has appeared- a mysterious criminal calling himself DL has issued an ultimatum- either the country surrender itself to him, or he will plunge it into a war that will destroy it. It isn't an empty threat, either- besides being a suspected head of the criminal organization "Russian Roulette", he has captured the plans for the country's defense, and is threatening to sell them to another nation, Plunging Aramani into war once again. Angered and concerned, the country has offered an enormous bounty for the head of this man, and amnesty for any criminal who captures him. You are a bounty hunter, and have just received word of this- are you ready to take the challenge?

    Info about Aramani:

Technology, government system, and general info: Aramani is a sort of city-country- it's basically a gigantic city with a few farms in between districts. The city is referred to simply as "the metropolis", while farm areas are referred to as "chow makers". There are several "crime district" areas, where the police never go- these are usually home to either lawbreakers or bounty hunters. Aramani is governed by both a president and a traditional "Council of Elders", both of which are elected by the people. These two branches must be in agreement in order for any law to be passed. Currently, the country is in the hands of the police force, however, as both the elders and president will listen to anything the chief says, effectively making him the most powerful man in Aramani. Aramani's technology is a bit strange- in terms of communications and transport, they are above Earth-Level, but due to the fact that gunpowder was never discovered, the weapons are a bit archaic. Common weapons include air guns, swords, and blunt objects and knives of various varieties. Due to the number of mercenaries hired during the war, Aramani has quite a few cultures within it.

Races: Being on a planet and universe far from Earth, there are a few alien species living in the world of our roleplay. Let's take a look.

Armania: The native people of Aramani, these people are basically humans with incredible Longevity- at fifty, for example, they would appear to be twenty. Unfortunately, they mature at the same rate as they age for the most part.

Garagana: From the land of Gargar in the north, these people are bizarre mixes of human and beast. Known for strength and healing ability, this race is usually the most unaccepted in normal society due to their highly-strung tempers and tribal religions and rituals.

Hiratana: From Hirata in the south, these people are human, but live in a society based around discipline and the martial arts. These people, along with the Armania, are the dominant members of society.

Chi: Let's talk about special powers! The basics- chi is life energy, which every living being is born with, and which grows stronger with age- the longer you live, the more life energy you gather, hence, the more available chi you have. Chi can be replenished simply by resting and eating, or by using an external means such as water from the sacred springs in Hirata, which replenishes it almost instantly. The use of chi cannot be classically taught, as each person's chi manifests itself differently, within one of several broad disciplines. The use of chi is based mostly on discipline- the more you can control your mind, the more you can do with your chi. Chi users usually learn control by meditating until they can summon their chi "aura"- an outward manifestation of their energy. When this is accomplished, they begin experimenting with its use until they can fully manifest it and use it as naturally as they would their body. The uses of individual chi techniques are limited only by the imagination and chi type of the user. Each chi class needs a necessary inborn trait to be within the user from birth in order for them to effectively use that type of chi. Now, on to the disciplines.

Materialization/Manipulation: This class of chi user is able to transform their chi into a solid object of some sort, then control it. This class of chi user usually has the least available energy, but the best control. If the object is broken, the person who materialized it temporarily loses all of their chi-based abilities, depending on the damage done this may last from anywhere between a week and a month. Armania are usually of this class, although Hiratana have been known to use it on rare occasions. For some reason, Garagana have never been able to use this ability, it is suspected that this is because they lack the necessary inborn imagination needed to make their aura into a complex solid object. The necessary trait for this discipline is "Imagination"- without a vivid imagination, the user cannot form a vivid enough image of their chi weapon or object to make it solid.

Regeneration/Reinforcement: These chi users cannot manipulate or launch chi outside of their body, but they can use it to accelerate their own healing process and augment their strength. Most Garagana are of this type, along with a fair number of Hiratana- however, no Armania are able to use this ability, supposedly because they lack the inborn focus needed to use this technique. The necessary trait of this ability is "Focus"- without it, the chi user would be unable to circulate their chi throughout their body effectively.

Barrier: These chi users materialize their chi as a barrier or wall of some sort- be it a stone barrier, a glowing shield, or a wall of flames. Barrier users can also use their barriers to attack by "Rushing" the enemy with them. All races share this form of chi use evenly. The necessary trait for a barrier user is "Determination". Without enough willpower and refusal to give in, their barrier would crumble. They are usually more stubborn then angry.

Destructive: DBZ, anyone? Destruction users can launch their chi as a powerful, destructive burst. This class generally has the most available chi, but the least control. This trait is evenly spread as well, but has fewer users then the Barrier class. Destructive chi requires two qualities-"Determination" and "Rage". "Rage", as it is called, is a name given to a berserk anger that all Destructive users are prone to. Though rare, occasionally a barrier-type chi user will become a destructive user if his anger escalates to the point where he cannot control it.

It should be noted that even though chi users have a specific personality trait that determines their use, that trait is not always life-dominating: Rather, it is simply the most dominant aspect of their personality. (Let me clarify- not all Materialization users spend their lives in a waking dream, but all materialization users are creative and somewhat imaginative.)

Explanations of criminal rank: This ranking system is used to determine the bounty of a criminal.

E Rank: 1-50 points. The basic pickpocket or Dine N' Dash crooks falls into this category. Not worth much.

D Rank: 50-500 points. Now we're moving up in the world. These crooks range from house burglars to low-rank mob people. Not exactly easy to get along with. Worth a fair amount of money.

C Rank: 500-1500 points: Whoah, now we're talkin'! These guys are definitely considered fairly dangerous, and include murderers, gang members, etc. Worth enough money to make a car payment.

B Rank: 1500-5000 points. These guys are definitely scary- if there's a serial killer or mass murderer in the world, they'll be B rank. Worth enough money to make a car and a house payment.

A Rank: 5000-10000: Even creepier then B-Rank, an A-Rank criminal is feared by anyone who knows him. Worth enough money to pay off your car or house for good.

S Rank: 10000-15000: Only S-Ranked bounty hunters are allowed to pursue these with government consent. All S-Ranked criminals can use chi formidably, and are considered a serious threat to society. If you can take one down and bring him in, he's worth enough money to buy your house, car, a fine night out, and a big screen TV, with enough left over to live off of for a month.

Star Rank: 15000+. Star Rank criminals- the most despicable beings on Earth. Only one is currently known- DL has been elevated to this status officially by police. The bounty for a star-ranker is upwards of six million credits.

And Finally, a blurb on phones:

Every bounty hunter has a cell phone issued to them which contains access to a file on all criminals with a bounty currently offered. The phone has text and picture capability, and rings when a criminal with a substantial bounty appears on the scene. The criminal file contains information including appearance, bounty offered, and a list of crimes, past and recent, as well as information on the weapons and tactics of the person mentioned.

It should also be noted that all bounty hunters are at least proficient in some form of martial art, or in the use of one or more types of weapons.

    Rules:

    1. No swearing. I can't stand it, and there are so many better words to choose from. If you must swear, say "He uttered an expletive", or "'@#$#' he yelled." The same goes for taking God's name in vain. You don't like it? Too bad, I run this rp. Oh, and the word "Hell" is Okay if used in the context of "What the hell?"... for now. If I decide to ban it later, woe betide all who say it.
    2. Normal rp rules- this includes no god-modding, powerplaying, etc.
    3. No "bunnying" without permission of the other user, and notifying me.
    4. My word is law. I say what goes, not you. In other words, no mini-modding OR mini-running the rp. Unless your name happens to have the word "Moderator" beside it, and you have a specific reason for doing so.
    5. I want at least six lines in your rp post unless you can say everything you need to in less, and proper grammar. If you can't do this, run the post through a spellcheck on a word processor or something. I want understandable posts.
    6. If you have a concern, notify me. I want to hear you.
    7. If you enter into a fight with another character, you must use proper "fighting etiquette". This means ending your post with an attack being launched instead of making it contact immediately, especially if said attack could do major damage if it contacts. Likewise, you are not allowed to avoid attacks indefinitely. You and the other player must decide on a winner over PM system before fifteen posts, or I will cut in and decided for you. If the fight is really cool though, I may allow you to extend it for a few extra if you want.
    8. Character death is not permitted without my consent, unless the character is your own.
    9. If your character dies but you want to rejoin, PM me a sign-up for another character and I'll see if I can fit you in.
    10. Romance is fine, but no hentai please.
    11. If you screw up in the roleplay too often, I will whack you with my patented ACC bone of justice and then kick you out for good. Your character will die an embarassing death.
    12. I reserve the right to refuse you because I don't like you. (.0000000000001 percent chance of this occuring.)
    13. And finally, you may manipulate NPCs as long as they aren't connected with the police station, or you aren't using them instead of your main character in the posts. If you do that, I want a new sign-up.

    Sign-Up sheet.

Full name: (Can be from any Earth culture, cannot be an anime ripoff.)

Age: (As long as you're above sixteen or its Armanian equivalent, you should be Okay.)

Personality: (most important category- six lines, please, unless you can say everything you need to in less. No Mary Sues/Gary Stus. They will be shot on sight.)

Gender: (It's either one or the other people.)

Race: (No cliche Gargar unless you can do them well, please.)

Appearance: (Pics are fine, remember that your character is a bounty hunter, and is probably a bit eccentric. Do a good job of describing him.)

Rank: (E-S, and make it logical- S Class bounty hunters are obviously more experienced and older then E Class.)

Criminal Rank (If former criminal): (If your character was a crook at some point, give his rank here. Remember, his age has to be logical- he has to be old enough to commit the crimes he got his rank for, and then wait until he has either served his sentence or waited until the statute of limitations on his crime ran out. You should also give us a list of past offenses here.)

History: (Standard four lines, and feel free to keep part of your character's history under wraps and reveal it throughout the rp. If the rest of your sign-up looks good, you can skip this category altogether. Remember to update this section as your character's history is revealed, though.)

Chi Class: (Choose from the above.)

Abilities: (Give a sampling of what your character can do. If he has specific attacks, list them here and explain them in detail. Be logical- an E Class bounty hunter will probably not be able to use attacks of the same caliber as a B Class would. Feel free to add new attacks as the rp progresses, just give them some logic. Feel free to leave blank and update as needed if your sign-up is Okay without 'em.)

Rp Sample: (Show your stuff! I'll only ask for one if I really need it, but if you are weak in other areas, a good rp sample is a great way to change my mind.)

Wow... that took a while to type.

Mikuru-chan: NARUTO RP. >OOO Womg. I'm so confused. >.< First sentence is kind of "...what?" and then I don't get the point of the plot, and THEN I don't understand how Rei-sama could've fought Naruto if Jiraiya defeated him. xD But you did describe chakra and weapons and stuff, albeit in a sort of confusing way for me.

I don't remember much from Naruto, (God those fillers were just the end of it for me) but it sounds fun, all it needs is some direction, and the plot, some organizing and less complicated sentences. ^^; Because, not to sound high on my throne, but if I can't understand it, there's gotta be a few others who're going to stand there like, "...What is this even about?"

But you may want to specify what you want with the clans. Do you want us to be apart of minor clans if we are apart of a clan at all? ^^ *is something I'm personally wondering*

Anywho: WOMG A 100% JELLYBEANS RP. 8OOO I remember when you used to RP as Jellybeans. *seems like so long ago, even though it was probably only like, a month.*

  • @Mikuru-chan: I really like your plot but I agree with Bijou word for word.

I am thinking of making a plot based on New X men:academy X, but I fear that it would be too much like the marvel RP. What do you all think because I don't want to make an RP that would almost be the same as another RP?

  • Bijou; it's what you get when you have had too much coffee and played to much Maple Story. Anyways, I edited some things, like the victor of the Jiraiya and Rei-sama fight. But yes, you can be parts of minor clans, or even custom clans, or no clan. The plot is just basically the adventures of the genins, like the missions, chuunin exams, and all that jazz. If you think those sentences are confusing, wait till you see how I role-play on another site, the number of difficult words are horrible x3.

-- It was about 5 months ago I role-played as Jellybeans xD --

    Spoiler:

    Oh yesh, that is me.

Blankily? xDD And I get the plot now, but you might want to mention that somewhere, just for clarification for the uncool people who don't read this thread?

*Womg, too many weird sentence structures. *Only gets like, two sentences in* But I'm a loser like that.*

  • This is just a bit of utter randomness before I say something on topic, but... I've been thinking about various things today, including speculating about what shippings people would come up with if my life was an anime complete with fanbase. Anyway, when I popped into this thread to see if anyone had even commented on my plot, which I'm going to assume no one did because Mikuru's plot kicked its sorry butt, I noticed that Toomi's "Battle Counter" thing looked like the traditional way shipping pairings are arranged, and it started me thinking about what that shipping would be called. In the end, the best I could come up with was "E-Shipping" or "Disscussionshipping". So yeah, I thought I'd share that little bit of weirdness with you all.

Now, to say something on topic-

Mikuru-Chan: Lyk, ZOMG UR PLOT ROCKS MEH SOCKS ON TEH TEFLON BLOCKS!!1!1! *Ahem* I mean, excellent plot, and all that. I don't see why you needed to write and ending for the series as part of the plot, but Ok. I'll be there with my best character, don't doubt it.

Korinku: If it is the same as another existing plot, don't bother. If you still want to make it, try tweaking it a bit.

@Art_Critic_Cubone: First off, thanks for reviewing my synopsis ;). Following that, your RP sounds well-adjusted but when I first started reading, it was a bit much to take in all at once. However, the concept and makeup of the plot was pretty solid and the rules are great. Not sure if you're still dedicated to the plot anymore but I'd suggest posting it really soon or a little bit after Korinku's, Mikurur's, or any other recently made RP's. Ranking system, objectives, sign-up sheet, and basic terminologies appear fine as well. (First time reviewing, not sure if that helps :P.)

@Mikuru-chan: The plot is kind of confusion near the beginning, with the launching straight into the final confrontation, but the objective and explanations are good and understandable. The whole concept is actually really interesting. Setup and rulings seem fine as well.

I, myself, have kinda altered my Pokemon RP...a lot. The battle system is similar to that of my previous one but I thought it'd be too complicated to understand. So I developed another strategy except this one seems complex as well. I'm not sure how people will take it, and there are a lot of rules, so that might scare away some of the more...not as vibrant RP-ers, but hopefully it'll make sense.

You and your opponent will decide who will win the battle and post accordingly (PM each other, send e-mails, etc. but do not inform any other participating members of this RP of your decision, except for me. The other members can find out who is the winner once the battle has been posted.). If neither of you can come to a decision for who will win or lose the battle, I will decide for you.

    2. If Pokemon battles are taking too long then I will inform you and your opponent to quickly end the battle.

    3. There can only be one Pokemon battle being posted at a time. Other characters can become spectators for the match or continue on other business outside the tournament.

    4. Each Pokemon will have an individual stamina counter for certain manoeuvres used in battles (only in the tournament, outside battles don't require one). Each time you post your Pokemon successfully hitting your opponent's Pokemon with an attack or dodging one, your Pokemon's stamina counter decreases (kind of like a Pokemon's HP). When a Pokemon's counter reaches 0, the Pokemon is knocked out or faints. Each Pokemon has a stamina counter beginning with 10 points. Whenever you post your Pokemon successfully hitting your opponent's Pokemon, your Pokemon's stamina counter will decrease by 2 points. Each time you post your Pokemon successfully dodging (also includes defending with moves like Protect, etc.) you opponent's attack, your Pokemon's stamina counter will decrease by 3 points. You must post the following line during each Pokemon battle for each Pokemon you are using: (Put the Pokemon's name here)'s Stamina: 10. You must adjust the value of the counter during your next post.

    5. Your Pokemon can use moves that it can learn from levelling, taught using TM/HM's, taught using a tutor, and taught as an egg. If the moves for your Pokemon are out of order or unreasonable, I will ask you to edit them.

    6. You cannot use legendary Pokemon. These include: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Yuxie, Emurit, Agnome, Dialga, Palkia, Heatran, Regigigas, Giratina, Crescelia, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Sheimi, and Arseus.

    7. You can use fourth generation Pokemon from the Diamond/Pearl series but you must provide a link or source to the details of the Pokemon. (Both Wikipedia and Serebii.net are common sources.)

    8. You must have six Pokemon during the tournament and they cannot change.

    9. There can be no relations to characters from the manga, anime, or other related Pokemon services. This is an OC (original character) RP with Pokemon concepts.

    10. Spelling, grammar, and vocabulary are important. Make sure your posts are adequate so that they are legible and understandable.

    11. Standard PC rules apply.

    12. Read the rules and make sure you understand them. If you don't like them then don't join. That means you should understand that people will be removed from the RP due to the structure of the plot, and if that's you, do not complain. If any of the above rules are broken beyond reasoning, the offender will be immediately removed from the RP. You have been warned. (Yes, I know there are a lot of rules. Don't understand something? Just ask. I can't stand those who assume they know what's going on and post something completely different from the plot.)

  • Hmm...

Toomi: Thanks for the review on my plot, I am going to create it and will update soon with a few more bits of information. As for your plot, I personally think that your original system was better for battles- it gives the roleplayers a chance to really show their stuff, and not worry about "Oh, I'm down to X stamina, I can't do that now." Really, it's a little less then logical, since a Pokemon can take hits without its stamina going down but it has to launch them. Theoretically, the winner would be the weaker Pokemon in that case. A more logical system would be your original one of forcing the other two roleplayers to come to an agreement or making the choice yourself. It isn't logical to state that launching an attack does more damage then receiving one anyway.

  • New X men, Academy X
    LITTLE X men stand tall

One hundred years ago, there was a battle. This battle was for the possession of a mystical stone. This stone could take out the whole human raise if in the wrong hands. Who where the ones in this battle you ask? It was the mutants against the humans. Yes way back then, mutants still lived but they where always in hiding so they where very rarely seen. After people began to see these mutants they became scared and sought to get rid of every single one of them. The humans left to find an ancient stone which was, by the humans called the Ending stone. The mutants called this stone, the choice stone for if you have this stone, you have a very big choice to make. After hearing about the humans and them going to find this stone, the mutants fallowed them and sought to get rid of the humans after they found the stone and after five months of looking, they finally found the stone on top of a five story mountain. As the battle began, the mutants had already been winning. After a good five hours, a spirit appeared out of the blue. The spirit spoke to the humans and the mutants telling them that this stone should not be used for such a horrid purpose. After talking the spirit took the stone, brain washed everyone and flew away to find a new place to hide the stone.

Now, humans and mutant are getting along very well except for a couple of bad mutants every now and then but there is always some one that is different. The mutants that still cant control their powers completely still go to Xavier's school for gifted kids. But, what the professor doesn't know is that there is a small, but very evil group forming who want possession of the Choice stone that way they can destroy all of th humans and all of the fellow mutants who appose them. After sending Cyclopes, Jean, Colossus, Ice man, Kittie, Rouge, Wolverine, Storm and, Beast to stop this team of evil. Once the X men team found the evil group, they found out that the leader was Selene, a very powerful villain seeing that she has immortality and can drain life forces. Selene and her team, Shinobi shaw, Sauron, Multiple man, Jade dragon, and Pyro battled with this X team and sadly killed every one of them. Professor Xavier sensed this outcome and began a memorial for them. After a year, Selene and her team prevailed in finding the Choice stone. But instead of destroying all of the humans, she gave them a choice, they could either disobey her and be destroyed or obey her and live.

Before anyone could replie to Selene, professor Xavier spoke to every one telekinetic telling them to just accept her offer and that the X men will take her down. The humans agreed to Xavier's plan and accepted Selene's offer. Since there where no more mutants that where a level higher than five, Xavier had to get the best people he could but he had to be sure that he was making the right choice with who he chose. So he observed the students telepathically and kept track of their movements and how well they do and after he finds the right mutants he will send them to go and bring down Selene and her team. But in order to do that, they must have the Choice stone for that is the only way to bring her down. Eventhough she is immortal, the power of the stone can take even her down.

    @Korinku- Sorry, I'm not much of an X-men fan.. ^^;

I thought up an idea for a RP earlier today. I'm not really one for making RP threads but it seemed like a good idea. But seeing as how this is my first time making one, I need some input before posting it.

    Spoiler:

Well, it seemed better in my head

Korinku: I'm not an X-men fan either, I haven't a single clue what your talking about. xD I know GodofPH was an X-men fan, though, I don't think I know anyone else who likes the series.

Green: Well, I know I've been lame lately and not fully reviewing and reading plots, but I did catch that you spelled 'Dying' as 'Dieing'. xD I don't think that's correct, although I could be wrong if I'm being ignorant of the different spellings of words. *I R Retard.* But it seems kind of fast and thrown together when I skimmed it. The ninja thing just kinda pops out of nowhere like a jack-in-the-box (God those make me jump sky high) but I'm not sure how you could fix that. You might give them a mini-introduction or something. Or maybe it's just me. >.<
