After a long time of putting it off, I finally decided to make myself a signature pic! It's about time, right? I see all these really cool signatures all over PC, and it's made me really want to make my own. After all, a signature is essentially an allowance of free space allocated to each post to show off your personal sense of style. So I'd like to use it a bit more creatively.
Sooo...here it is. It's a work in progress, of course. I see a few flaws in it that I'd like to fix. The thing that sticks out most to me is that the background is quite pale. It doesn't really "pop out" at you, so to speak. Also, there's a lot of empty space that I'm still trying to figure out what to do with it. I don't feel like I should go overboard with too much "stuff", but I also feel that there's too much real estate between Cheria and the "Sopheria" text that isn't being used. Finally, I need more practice with blurring correctly to give the picture depth. I did a bit, but it still looks a bit flat. It'll take some more experimenting with blurring parameters before I get the hang of it. For the time being, I'd rather it not have enough depth, rather than it look distorted because I did it poorly.
Here's to hoping my skills improve!
