Where exactly IS that gas mask at? I've gone through the whole River Overpass, and I've gotten everything BUT that gas mask.

Coming from Trainer Safari, it should be down the first waterfall. (the one with the girl on the bridge)

can someone help me with the coordinates for the victory road puzzle, I am clueless as to what they are

It's a magic square, so the sum of every vertical, horizontal and diagonal line must be the same.

How do I update a Clamperl card into a Gorebyss card? Every time I use a normal card upgrade it only turns into Huntail

Thanks for the reply. I have indeed searched this thread (keyword: boss), and found a few people with the same sentiments. That it is way too difficult to beat this/they gave up.
The issue with my playthrough randomized is I cannot breed for GP due to eggs churning out random mons + the 2 fusion mons to help contribute some dmg in the fight are simply pikachus.

Thinking about it some more, I realize this game has an emphasis on the introduced elements that people are probably not used to (notably planting berries for money, GP, cards), which seem mandatory to beating the game.

Personally I think It is a design issue if the game is unbeatable without either grinding 100 hours (which is just repetitive and doesn't require any skill) or cheating. I cannot name another game mainstream or well-received fanmade singleplayer that requires this. It is not even an extra uber-boss/challenge, it is the main storyline that cannot be progressed through. It really does seem that you need a fully decked out roster of shiny/platinum and cards with max ev/iv simply to beat the game. Even games that are litearlly grindcentric like aprg such as diablo you can beat the game (the grinding is postgame content).

Really this game is very well made until this boss. The puzzles during the playthrough are harder than the mainstream pokemon games, and can definitely be hard for a child to play through.
This boss is just completely on another level. At the very least randomizer run is not balanced at all, if you search up "pokemon empyrean wt" on youtube you will find a few youtubers that simply cannot beat it, and these are youtubers that clearly have interest in fanmade games/played through multiple ones. Also comments on these videos agreeing on the absurd design of this boss. I'm sure people who are stuck at this phase aren't single digit mouth breathers but are just frustrated fans of pokemon games.

I didn't have much trouble with it, but I also worked pretty hard for my team and it also wasn't randomized. The difference between 0 and 5 GP is quite big, that might be causing trouble, but a plat mon with plat card is even more dangerous. Which should be possible even in randomized games. Though it'll require time and money in Auction House, money and luck in Card Shop.

Empyrean as a game doesn't really care if it's too hard to be honest. And it was a deliberate choice Sto made, not a mistake. If you are saving the world/universe, it'll be tough as balls. Casual and "gotta go fast" approach also hurts, seen in both puzzles and battles.

If I spent that much time on a game, introduced shitloads of mechanics, polished it like a maniac, and burned myself out, I think I'd make it even harder. Not to make players suffer, but to make it memorable. And if it's not everyone's cup of tea, then so be it.

GP Breed is based on genetic similarity. A low one raises the chances to get a Pokemon with 1 GP higher than the parent with lower GP, you can check that talking to the scientist near Day-Care. (Obviously a Pokemon must be evolved at least once to pass GP) Ability inheritance should work like gen VII games (?).

In Roarin Island there's a guy who sells every evolution stone.

can we please get access to the discord server?

Discord server is closed, since the game is finished.

What is the Prism tower and the trainer tower? are they story related?

Trainer Tower can be used to train during story and Prism is postgame content, they're not story related

What do I do with the Descendant Cloth? I suck at these types of puzzles

When you don't know what to do just call Zero until he tells you what to do next. If i remember correctly it's the part where you have to find the man with white eyebrows

Not sure about prism tower, but trainer tower isn't story related. It's just a challenge in PP economizing with a reward on top (see below). You can leave the trainer tower at any time, so it's useful as a way of farming ether and elixir.

Is it possible to get a petshop card from the booster packs

    Yes

Thanks, any idea on where to find him? Even a small clue is enough. I've been looking for him for a while
