    • The first game I actually owned, believe it or not was Green in Japanese. As a poor inner city kid, I have no idea how my friend got ahold of it. Eventually it became mine and then I think the US versions finally hit stores and I got Red. I remember before the US versions came out for the next generation, I had a Japanese version of Gold too.

    I am personally heartbroken, but I think its about time for Pokemon to move ahead and make Ash grow up. I still feel like Ash will able available in the new Series as mentor or a World Champion though. Let's see, fingers crossed.

    It is a big event indeed! I watched as Ash and Pikachu started their long journey!
    Good memories... ^^
