It looks like falling on my computer not chopping whatever that means.

The snow is falling quite slowly, making it look choppier than real snow, if you'd speed it up a bit, it would look more real :)

It looks okay... but there's a couple of issues that I have with the graphic.


I don't like how you just randomly used brushes. It causes a strange focal point that just doesn't captivate me at all.

I don't like the font, but that's just me personally. Since the graphic doesn't have a render (if there is one, I can't find it) then you should put the text in the middle.

First time adding snow. Followed a tutorial I found online.

Btw:

@Baka Tenshi: I think It looks great! the snow is very realistic, however I did notice that there is a checkmark shape made out of the snow that is very easy to spot going down the image when the snowfall animation resets.

@Kira: I think the reason you see the animation as choppy and not as smooth as me or Baka tenshi might lie in your internet connection. Idk what kind you have but if it has a lot of trafic or low bandwidth than the animation is going to go slower because animations take up at least 3 times as much bandwidth as normal pictures.
as for your picture, I'm not sure what I;'m looking at. while its blended nicely and has an overall good color scheme, it appears to not have a subject other than the text. if the text is supposed to be the subject than the placement is off and it lacks any catchyness to draw your attention to it.

I still can't see why you don't like that banner D: I fell in love with the background <3 It looks so... Pretty, I guess. The clipping masks over the guy's shoulder stops it from looking like a render pasted onto a background, which is really cool. And the colours are lovely as well. More effects would have been nice, and the text needs some work, but other than that, I have nothing else to say. Besides the fact that it looks nice, and it sort of makes me want to watch that anime.

Actually that anime is Seinen, better watch out for violence! It freaked me out...

Oh, and I finally made a christmas theme, Everyone says it's good w/o a border so...

Baka Tenshi -- Aaaah, I really like that one with the snow effect. It's a really nice, fluid animation, from what I can see. I would do the same to my banner, if I wasn't so lazy. Anyway, the banner overall is really great. The image is positioned nicely and the background is nice and looks like a whole bunch of Christmas lights far in the distance. It makes me feel all warm and cuddly inside xD Although, I'm not much of a fan of the text. It's looking a bit odd, due to the large space in between the two lines. The font is good, though. Oh, and the blending looks a bit too blurry, but it's not too much of a bother ^^

Chikara -- That is one cute image :3 It's simple, but not too bad. The background is looking a bit plain, though, so maybe you could add some more of those glowy orbs/snow dots on, to fill up some of the space. Rendering is a bit rough around the foot, and the text stands out too much, and is kind of dull. Try using a brighter colour for the text. The font is lovely, though. And, actually, I quite like the border. The pink matches the character's hair, so there's no problem with that.

Kira -- It looks very, very... Messy. As some people have said, I don't completely know what I'm looking at. The focal point is not clearly defined, and the scan lines are a bit too strong. I sort of like the rusty colour scheme. The text stands out waaaay too much, the font doesn't match, and it distracts your view from the, er, background. Unless the text is supposed to be the focal, that is, then it should be moved elsewhere on the banner. Oh, and maybe a border would be good...

Sasuke_Darkness -- Yellow D: It's somewhat bright. Or my eyes are just pathetically too sensitive. Anyway, the flow is good on the background, and it follows the render nicely. Much like in your other banners, though, the text stands out more than the render. The stroke on the text is waaaaay too thick, and the font and text position look odd. The background is looking a bit empty, as well, and the render is too smudged. Oh, and scan lines are nice, but don't overuse them like I did. Try playing around with different effects as well.

Ryouki -- Meh, I don't mind seinen. I watch Mushishi, anyway, so...

That's an adorable render ^^ Low quality, but cute xD Considering the quality of the render, it's actually a nice banner... Is that smudging I see!? 8D -is a smudging addict- Anywhoo, the smudging and splatters are very nice. The giant blob in front of the girl (forgot her name D:) is pretty distracting, though. The text is actually pretty good, but it looks really rough, and the tiny text underneath the main text could be made smaller. And I think it looks completely fine without a border.

Gah, I rushed near the end. I shouldn't even be here posting this... -gets easily distracted-

Erm...well,yeah, it is missing something! dont ask me what it might be tho =3. The Bg looks like a bunch of brushes slapped on on together,however u can see it took u a while to get the end effect (toying around with the opacity and whatnot...and the text...to me is horrible D: i like the flashing text but it totally doesnt match with the rest of the siggy...and its pretty hard to read..i hate rating things this low but..5-6/10 >.<


Yours did look preety cool tho,so i decided to make my own! Took a while and its awfully big...but just so u ppl know what to rate...its my sig (vegeta one)

I like your sig too, Its simple. I like simplicity over the many sigs that contain alot of grungy scratches and stuff along the edge. anyway I like the screening of the second render in the sky, gives an aura of a spirit of someone close to the girl, that is fighting for her.

anyway I thought I'd see what the reactions are to my sig and avvy. feel free to comment on both or either one. the avvy was made completely from scratch while the sig contains two pics from online Stock.

nice concept, and i like the way it was executed. the text seems kinda jaggy though IMO. do you have the "Antialiasing" turned on? *i believe that's what it's called* it has a nice feel, clean and simple though.
