    That you don't need to waste energy jumping across the room, waving your arms. A simple flick of the wrist would suffice.

    ...It took me a little while to figure that out. 8(

    I don't think my parents have found out yet, though. It's pretty funny watching them get right into the game when all they need to do is move their wrist just a little bit. imo, it's more fun getting right into it, though. XD;

    My dad tried playing Wii Sports and ended breaking one of the lamps, and then blamed me for it :| My uncle, on the other hand, wants to get one for Wii Fit. Apparently, he thinks it'll make him lose weight and stuff XD; My family is so bizarre

    I broke one of my friends wii remotes when we were playing Wii sports baseball. The strap broke off when i swung and it smahed into the wall just to the right of the TV. It was really funny at first but then I had to pay for it D:

    Pssh, if you're really into the game, you could care less.
    Like, when I play Bleach on the Wii with my dad, we're both jumping all over the place. It's just that much more fun when you're everywhere xD

    Umm.. I dont think that typing random jibberish in the DCC would be counted as a marginal error.

    :|

    And thats also out of topic >:

    When you're playing Wii, you have a tendency to over-do it because its an active console :D

    PS3>360>Wii, imo. Which is kind of ironic coming from me, seeing as I own both a Wii and 360, but no PS3...yet >_>

    Then again, I don't really know too much about the actual hardware of any of the 3 systems. Hell, I'm really just saying this based off the games, and the fact that the ps3 has a built in blu-ray player. Oh, and the fact that everyone around me at this point seems to think the PS3 is better, and I just sort of..believe them ._.

    As for those people who feel it necessary to run around the room, flailing their arms in the air while playing Wii...I'm one of those people. I'm not intentionally trying to make myself look like a total douchebag while playing, it just...sort of comes naturally.

    I mean, I realize that a simple wave of the controller infront of the screen would suffice, but...y'know...

    Personally, I think Nintendo is too high on themselves nowadays. xD;
    They think because they've been successful for so many years, that they know what they're doing. Hopefully the response to the Wii brings them back to earth.

    The Wii is new though. New, exciting XD

    Though I can agree with you on the games bit since the only Wii game that's caught my eye is Wii Sports.

    The others..? Naah... I dont really like em :>

    I think what would get Wii more popular right now, would have more Legend of Zelda games and another Metroid Prime game too. They already have enough Mario games for the Wii. >.<

    No, Its not what games they have, Its more of how the gameplay and graphics are that are the main problem...

    Most people dont care whether its a Mario and Luigi, or Sonic and Tails, Its how the actual game is that makes me go crackers >:

    The only thing that the PS3 has going for it at the moment is the blu-ray player. Right now it's the best valued player you can get. But prices should drop on normal players so people won't even need to get a PS3. Everyone around you is obviously a dedicated fan, and while Sony may have some games lined up for next year, none interest me enough to purchase their console.

    You know, there's only one game I have that requires any "flailing" and that's WiiSports. Anything else can be played just sitting back and relaxed, haha.
    Said random gibberish has been abolished and the user banned. :D WHOO.

    Wii is.. ehh. Some good games, but for the most part it seems there are more things interesting me on the 360 and PS3 these days. >_> Kinda sad, since I used to like, be in love with Nintendo.

    It's that whole ~going for the casual market~ thing they're doing. Blagh.
    Everyone wants the casual, it's making them buckets of money. I don't know why people think Nintendo has abandoned their err... more dedicated fans, I suppose. They've released heaps of good games and have more coming up. You all just like to moan and complain.

    Besides, it's the third party support that's providing most of the shovelware and crap that we all despise - you can't blame Nintendo for that. No one blamed Sony when we saw it all on the PS2.
    Personally, I think Nintendo is too high on themselves nowadays. xD;
    They think because they've been successful for so many years, that they know what they're doing. Hopefully the response to the Wii brings them back to earth.
    The response to the Wii has only been outstandingly positive o_o

    My problem is that I don't personally like many of the first party Wii games I've played. I know Nintendo's made lots of fans happy by releasing big titles for almost all their franchises right away in the Wii's lifespan but... the ONLY game I have to Wii that I actually enjoy is Brawl. I thought Galaxy was disappointing, I thought Twilight Princess was disappointing. I haven't played any Metroid Prime but my brother told me not to bother because he didn't like it. I'm not even BOTHERING with Mario Kart because I despise the items system this day and how it tries to balance the game so no skill is involved. So while people play the "they've already released tons of good games, what are you complaining about?" card I never know what to say. Because I don't feel they've released many good games, but clearly I'm in the minority since I have to be the only person who didn't really like Galaxy very much, so my opinions are probably roughly the same for other games. :| I dunno. The Wii doesn't appeal to me at all and that disappoints me because it's the only console I originally wanted going into this generation.

    heh, the one's I normally hear complaining are the Nintendo fans themselves. Everyone has different tastes though, and what people may think to be great games on other consoles (like shooters), I just find boring.

    I might be wrong, but your brother enjoys playing FPS on the 360, right? I'm surprised he didn't enjoy Metroid Prime 3 since it's controls are just perfect for FPS. I mean, playing them on a controller has turned me off the genre so much, it's so... bad.

    I don't know what it is about the Wii... the whole thing just turns me off. I don't know if it's lack of online (even Brawl, a game I would have killed to have gotten... I don't care for it), or lack of good games I like, or this or that. I got the 360 (CoD4, Oblivion, GRAW, etc), I got the PS3 (MGS4, SC4) and I look at at the Wii... and I'm like "Why even take the time and play?". I love Nintendo... but it's just pissed me off lately. And that might be it... I've kind of went anti-Nintendo. I used to support them, defend them... and the return payment I got was crappy online for the Wii, really no good games, and the lovely new DSi. Yea... I'm saving up for a second 360 to make myself happy.
