The first pokemon of your party will probabky follow you,huh?

I'm going to have my Umbreon following me for pretty much the entire game. As soon as I get to the daycare, I'm trading a Sentret for an Eevee and breeding. =D

I'll also experiment with having pokemon like Giratina and Probopass following me ( xD ) but for srs biznus, umbreon all the way.

Probably... Gardevoir. If not then Zangoose.

I think it's a great idea.

I'm not sure what I'll have follow me, maybe a Houndoom.

I think the commercial that aired recently showed that it can be turned off. Gold was in Blackthorn Gym w.out a pokemon outside of its pokeball and Soul was in Ecruteak's Gym with Chikorita outside. It wouldnt make sense to have one gym accept out of ball pokemon and another not. Therefore it is likely that we can turn it off for our own preferences.

I also noticed this. It's great that they're giving us the option for those who prefer to walk alone.
I might turn it off in some cases if it gets distracting or annoying, but if I can contrive to get a Gardevoir in this game I doubt I will. I mean, why would I when I could have a sacrificial Psychic-type trailing behind me and blowing the heads off anyone who bothers me?

Lapra's overworld sprite looks so cute in the PokeSunday video! :D I can't wait to see Lance's Dragonite in Mahogany Team Rocket's Hideout! XD I'm so happy that any Pokemon can follow. ^_^

I am very in favor of this feature. I cannot wait to have my Pichu or Espeon following me around. It will be interesting to see if they (Gamefreak) decide to keep this for future games.

How will they be able to follow you while Surfing? Sit on your head? Also what if the Pokemon following you is the Pokemon your surfing on, that would be kind of strange.
