  • A few moments before detonation.

"Hmm. Any word from the others?" Jan asked. Celebi shook her head. Jan muttered an old curse.
"They must be in trouble!" Jan said. The bomb in front of her began to activate.
"Damn! Celebi, would you take up and drop it in the ocean?" Jan asked. She knew it wouldn't stop the other bombs from going off, but at least the mountain would still be standing. Though it would be a little malformed looking. But the whole environment would recover, and Spear Pillar itself would likely be somewhat undamaged. Celebi touched the bomb, and with a pop it was gone. A second later she was back.
"Is it gone?" Jan asked. Celebi nodded with a giggle. A minute or two later, everything started rumbling. Must be the other bombs going off. It effected even down here. Rocks came tumbling down from the ceiling. Celebi buzzed around helplessly scared as Jan ran for the exit. She didn't make it in time, and was sealed in. She turned around. There was a ton of rubble behind her. She had been lucky the falling rocks hadn't crushed her. Prissy yowled at her, and she instinctively pet the cat.
"Can you get us out of here?" Jan asked Celebi.
"I used to much of that energy with the bomb! I can't go anywhere until it comes back!" Celebi said. Figures. Looks like she'd have to wait. She wondered how long it would take them to search down here.

  • Watching as part of the mountain fell apart, Tallula roared in outrage, matched by Lugia's anguished cry and they sped downwards, Lugia erecting powerful wards against the other explosions, protecting the rest of the mountain. It was touch and go...would they save enough of the base to keep Spear Pillar standing? She knew he would detonate SOME of the bombs...she didn't think he'd try blowing up the whole freaking mountain. But at least now they knew what they were dealing with. They knew that these Team Revolution obviously were working for their own good, not the good of pokemon or of humans. And they were ruthless, they would demolish anything that stood in their way, regardless of how many innocent people or pokemon were harmed. Tallula couldn't even think about how many pokemon were killed in that blast, or how many habitats had been destroyed...at the moment she had to concentrate both her and Lugia's minds on saving the rest of the mountain.

"We aren't enough!" Tallula cried both out loud and in her mind to Lugia, and she felt him agree through his exertions. "PSYCHIC ELDERS, HELP US!" he shouted telepathically to all the other council members. They both heard Helena and Reshiram send a call up to Arceus himself and then over the whole region to all pokemon and people, and they waited anxiously, erecting as many psychic barriers around the trembling mountain as they could. It seemed as though they had managed to stabilise part of the mountain to itself, but if Lugia let go of his control the other part could topple instantly. Tallula turned to Helena and Reshiram, feeling a sudden approaching of power. "HELENA, RESHIRAM, CAN YOU FEEL THAT? IS THAT THE STRENGTH OF THE POKEMON OF SINNOH?" Tallula and Lugia experimentally reached out to the flow of power that was being offered to them, gasping slightly at it's intensity and breadth. The pokemon really had responded.

Figuring that she'd thank them later, Tallula and Lugia stemmed the flow of energy, and with a great roar Lugia surged forward, his mental blockades wrapping themselves around the mountain. It was better, but still not enough, they needed the other council members to help and then they just might save Mt. Coronet from turning to rubble...the part of the mountain that had already fallen, however, they would have to think about afterwards. Lugia repeated his cry to the other council elders and their pokemon, and they waited.

  • Vcitini kept its barrier up as long as he could. Several boulders were surrounding the circular barrier and left it safe enough to take the barrier down. The mass rock slide finally stopped but Kyle could only fear the damage done to Mt Coronet. Kyle and his other Pokemon climbed out of the pile of rocks and noticed the condition of the mountain. Kyle Simpily stared in awe as he got a telepathic message.

"Should we head to the top of the mountain?" Victini asked.

"Hmm..." Kyle looked above him and noticed A Lugia trying to keep a chunk of the mountain from falling appart. "Victini, you think you can help them with the mountain?"

Victini nodded. "I'm well known for being able to produce infinite energy. I dunno if that would be enough to keep the mountain in place" It said sarcastically. Kyle let off a laugh.

"Sure Sure. Go help the others out. We'll try to look for that other council elder thats trapped down there. I heard them mention somebody went into the caves so that person is likely trapped." Kyle said. Victini flew up to where Lugia was and checked what it was doing.

"How ya doin Lugia? Need a bit of help?" Victini asked as he generated energy to transfer to Lugia. "Sorry we're late! Team revolution got to us before we could make it to the top! We were busy dealing with flyers! Hope this at least makes up for it!"

While Victini was doing his part of the Job, Ryder began to break through one of the entrances that was blocked off. They had no idea where this council elder could possibly be Hopefully on the way to the top of the summit he would find this person. As he moved through the cave passages, he called out in hopes that somebody would hear him. The summit seemed so far away...

"Hello? Anyone in here?" Kyle called out into the the emptiness in front of him.

  • Jan heard someone yelling off in the distance. She got up and yelled back.
"Here!" she called back to him. She stood up, and with Celebi lying on her head, and Prissy at her side, she turned back and went to find him. She reasoned that those attackers had fled. So it must be one of the elders. She traveled through the caves, until she reached him. She looked him over. He looked as bad as she felt. She wiped some of the dust from her face.
"I'm sorry we have to meet under these circumstances. I'm Jan, the elder from Kanto. And you are?" Jan said. Even now, protocol must be followed. Celebi smiled at the newcomer. It wasn't anyone that Jan recognized, so this must be the Hoenn elder.

  • Somebody responded to his call. That was fast. Thankfully this person didn't go too deep in Mt Coronet. It turned out to be a girl by the name of Jan. She was the elder of Kanto or something like that. He wasn't convinced by the elder buisness but he decided to play along.

"I'm Kyle. Elder of Hoenn. My friend is helping one of the Legendaries keep the mountain together. We should probobly get to the top of the Mountain as soon as possible. Ryder?" Kyle said. Ryder walked in the middle of the group. "Teleport us as close to the summit as possible. Kyle said holding onto his shoulder. Snype jumped onto Kyle's shoulder and looked at Celebi curiously. He gave off a large smile and waved at Celebi.

"Here Jan, hang on to me. We'll Teleport right to the top of the mountain." Kyle asked said to her as Ryder prepared to teleport to the summit.

  • Jan smiled and took his hand. He doubted that she was the elder, and she could tell. She wanted to throw him off the top of the mountain. As if he couldn't see Celebi. She was proof enough that Jan was an elder! But Jan didn't really care if he believed her or not. Celebi looked at the Sableye and smiled back. If she hadn't been so tired, the boy and his pokemon would all be wearing flower crowns right now. She was so friendly. Jan closed her eyes and waited for the ordeal to be over. She hated teleporting, but it was the fastest way up the mountain.

  • Ryder teleported the group right to the summit. AS predicted, It was in pretty bad shape from the recent explosions, and that's saying something considering how old the structure is. Two teleportation trips in a row... Kyle was actually beginning to feel a bit sick... Ryder was getting a bit tired as well. Teleporting multiple people at once took Alot of energy to do. Kyle returned Ryder to his Pokeball so he could relax a bit.

Kyle believed her status as an elder but was never really convinced of the stories told to them. But with all of the events going on, it seemed like they were right... for the most part anyway. Kyle walked up to the alter and looked down the mountain to see Victini still helping Lugia.

  • OOC: UGH... Was out sick... and I missed EVERYTHING. T-T I'll try to get back on track.

    IC:
"General! General!" A voice echoed from a frantic female as her silhouette entered a dimly lit cave. She jumped over a few protruding stones on the ground and almost lost balance from the uneven rock corridor as she ran through it. She stopped when she entered a large cavern where an underground lake hid.

"General Gwen... huff... Finally found you... W-We have received word... L-Leader Thrax... He's... He's dead, ma'am!" The female grunt saluted as she gazed at the backside of the young general before her. Gwen gazed up at the ceiling of the cavern before turning around to face the grunt.

"Dead huh...." Gwen with closed eyes murmured faintly. "What a fool..." Gwen looked back at the grunt as the grunt was trying to catch her breath still.

"C-Commander Raymond also requested you and our Phantasm Team f-for reinforcements hours ago but... w-we weren't able to track you until just now, ma'am. You s-shouldn't keep your communicator off... T-The others will get mad at you." The grunt spoke in between breaths. Gwen wasn't pleased especially since she was doing her off-duty research. "They were on retreat after the failed attempt at the Mt. Coronet mission. W-We may still need to report in!" The grunt looked nervous as she said the latter part, possibly because their team might have problems upon return.

Gwen shook her head. "...Yes, we will report back. I am surprised... Raymond's plans weren't successful... That's a first. Those legendary council people must be strong..." Gwen found few "men" to be formidable foes and Raymond was one man to be feared as well as respected, but she unfortunately hated him to his core. Gwen shuffled through her pack and grabbed a small head set before placing it around her right ear. With a small beep, Gwen switched the communicator back on and swung the backpack on her left shoulder before she motioned with her hand to the grunt to follow her out of the cave.

As they exited the cave, the bright sunlight cause Gwen to raise a hand to shield her eyes from the rays and the grunt followed suit. The grunt then ran ahead and was pointing down a trail signalling the way. After a short while, they came upon a small task force of about 10 people with sets of P's embedded into many of their attire from caps to vests. As Gwen appeared, the whole group saluted to her before Gwen hand-motioned them to stand down. Many of Gwen's subordinates admired her while others both admired and feared her. Two distinguished female members approached Gwen before the short haired of the two hugged Gwen.

"We were looking for you everywhere you know! I'm sure Commander Raymond is going to be furious since we weren't able to dispatch because we still were out looking for you. Oooo... I can't stand that guy." The crimson short haired girl with the name tag Lt. Leanne Caine pouted. The other female operative shook her head and brought a hand over her face.

"You know you shouldn't say that. We should just be glad that we found General Gwen as fast as we could." The brown haired beauty Lt. Serina Cahill replied with relief. "We are prepared to move out on your orders, General. We are to meet up with the main force back at Saffron base where we will await Commander Raymond's return." Serina read off a report she had received from headquarters.

"Hm... Alright. Pack up everyone. We leave for Saffron base." Gwen shouted and her team replied with a salute and a shout, "Yes, General!" Everyone scrambled to pack up with extreme swiftness and no later than 30 minutes, Gwen's team was ready for take off. Everyone boarded the aircraft and with Serina piloting and Leanne as Serina's co-pilot, the team took off for Saffron City. Gwen stared out of the window of her seat before she gave a sigh.

  • OOC: I got permission to involve Regigigas, don't worry ^^'

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Helena paused - that fool actually had the nerve to destroy mount Coronet, the birthplace of all pokemon - and noticed Lugia and the newly arrived Victini's attemts to hold up the truly precious mountain. "They can't hold on for much longer Helena!" Reshiram roared, the sound resonating from the richoting walls of the spear pillar. That was the first time that day that Reshiram had not used telepathy to talk, and the first time for a long while before that, mainly because she preferred to keep conversations quiet and private, but also because she preferred to stay silent unless totally neccessary. Helena grunted annoyedly and held onto the vast white pokemon's back, clutching tightly at the golden rings that wrapped around her neck.

Reshiram's outburst seemed to have a lasting affect on the pillar - it was shaking much more violently before in rippling tremors, making each of the 'spears' shake precariously from side to side. Cautiously Reshiram took to the sks to see if something other than her roar had caused the disturbance - it had - and the source was a huge white golem with yellow spots on its front that flashed on and off, and green moss covered its head and feet. "Regigigas..." Helena muttered deliberately, hoping that he was on their side.

The collossal pokemon stopped right in front of the mountain, and with his mighty fist balled tight he set about fixing the main damage to the mountain. He shifted the shattered rocks lying at the bottom of the mountain and used them to create supports that would hold the entire mountain stable, focusing on Spear Pillar in particular, before grunting in the direction of the three valient guardians atop mount Coronet. "Thank... You. Lugia." He stammered, obviously finding it ard to speak after so many years of slumber. "And - you, Victini," he turned to face Helena and Reshiram - "You awoke... Me; from my... eternal slumber. Thankyou for... protecting the, mountain." Reshiram went a little rosy in the cheeks, and didn't know what to say. Waiting for the other guardians' reactions, Reshiram simply landed next to the huge pokemon, Helena still sat atop her rings.

  • "I...can't..." Lugia stammered, his strength ebbing. He and Victini had been holding the entire mountain for so long...he didn't know how much longer he could hold it...he looked over at Victini to see how the small pokemon was holding up. The strength from the pokemon of Sinnoh had faltered - Lugia assumed that they had used a lot of it already...and now the tremors were getting stronger!! it was even harder to keep the mountain stable!! "BUT WE HAVE TO!" Lugia roared to no-one in particular, his body trembling with the effort he'd exerted and continued to funnel into the mountain. Tallula's head was aching as she allowed Lugia to fuse their minds to support himself, and she closed her eyes to focus on the matter at hand, feeling each of the strong tremors through the mountain behind her eyeballs. Feeling Lugia's exhaustion...the fear...the hopelessness...they couldn't be defeated!

Suddenly...yes, that was Reshiram...out loud! She wasn't using telepathy...something must be going really wrong that they couldn't see for blinkering their sights on the Mountain. Opening one eye slightly, Tallula looked to the side and looked to Reshiram soaring through the skies - through Lugia's eyes blues were much more pronounced, it was strange to see the world this way - but surely enough there was Reshiram. Soaring towards Spear Pillar...not Team Revolution again?? Tallula doubted they could hold off a second attack...but no!! "LUGIA, IT'S....IT'S REGIGIGAS!! FEEL, LUGIA, STOP!" as she watched the legendary golem repair the base of the mountain...then working up to protect Spear Pillar. They did it!! Relief washed through Lugia as he released his psychic supports now the tremors had stopped...and his vision faltered. He fell in the sky somewhat, his wings turning limp as the true cost of the effort became clear. Tallula ground her teeth and poured what little energy she had left into Lugia, just so they could land on Spear Pillar safely.

Circling slowly, Lugia drifted down to Spear Pillar, landing wobbly and collapsing on his legs to the ground, his long neck resting out, eyes closed. "Oh no..." whispered Tallula, exhausted as she was, she reached into her bag and pulled out an array of potions, proceeding to spray them on Lugia's neck, face and wings whilst speaking soothing words. They seemed to work - his face becoming less pained and exhausted and calmed, soothed as he passed into peaceful unconsciousness, as much as Tallula wanted to wake him she needed him to sleep. He wasn't used to sing his psychic powers for so long...they'd need to work on that later on. She sighed and sank down to the floor, resting her back against Lugia and looking at Regigigas in awe.

"Regigigas...thank you so much...I am so sorry that Lugia and myself cannot greet you appropriately, we are exhausted..." she did, however, bow her head in his direction. "Are you okay? You weren't hurt? Do you know where the others are?" she asked, turning her attention to Helena and Reshiram and wondering where Victini was. "Should we send a message out to the elders?"

  • Jan moved out of the way as Lugia landed. Regigigas was amazing! Celebi got up and flew over to Lugia and used Recover on him. Jan looked around, but the people that had attacked them and the mountain were gone already.
"Regigigas, on behalf of all of us, I thank you," Jan said with a humble bow. She looked around. Jan went and sat down.
"Ok, will someone tell me what is going on? I get the feeling something important happened while I was in the caves," Jan said.

  • "jan, thank goodness you're alright," breathed Tallula, standing up slowly and walking over to the side of spear pillar, looking down at the destruction and rubble that still remained, the breeze ruffling the feathers on her headdress with slight whispers and playing with her hair. "we were attacked. I don't know why or how they found us here, but the mountain and spear pillar were nearly destroyed. They ultimately underestimated our combined powers, and the mighty Regigigas helped us rebuilt what was damaged, but it is still worrying. We must regroup and figure out who these Team Revolution found us, what they're planning and how we can stop them."

  • Kyle's eyes widened watching the entire scene. Regigigas just saved the mountain... he couldn't believe his eyes when watching this scene unfold. Victini eventually caught up with Kyle. "Haha! See? Nothin we can't handle!" Victini said cheerfully. Kyle looked ahead at the girl that apparently owned that lugia. She was dressed rather fancy... hmm. Kyle looked up at Regigigas and scratched his head.

"Um... thanks for saving the mountain and stuff... yeah..." He said nervously. Not a proper introduction but he wasn't exactly one to talk all fancy or anything. He looked over to the fancily dressed girl with the Lugia. "Um... Hiya! I'm Kyle... Hoenn elder. This here is my Partner Victini." Kyle said. He sure as hell didn't look like an elder. He looked kinda like a normal trainer then anything. Whatever, He didn't go for looks either.

  • "Heh, of course I'm alright. Why wouldn't I be? But thanks for worrying about me, it means a lot," Jan said. Celebi flew right up to Victini.
"Victini! I knew you were hiding around here! Welcome! Everyone's here now!" Celebi said happily, spinning around Victini.
"Alright. Where are the others? We must begin! This needs to be resolved immediately!" Jan said looking at the Elders already there.

  • Docked at the hanger of Saffron HQ, Raymond was greeted by an eager crowd of Team Revolution members. They were not eagerly awaiting the return of a hero who won an epic battle. They were anticipation the arrival of the next best thing to their leader. With the void left by Thrax, Team Revolution was slowly turning into a broken operation. Raymond was dreading the return to HQ, digging his face into his dirty hands the entire way there. Both Lt. Carter and Lt. Greene avoided talking to Raymond as a result. It was the first time they had ever seen him stressed.

As Raymond stepped down the narrow stairs from the plane, a swarm of Team Revolution members bombarded him with questions, paperwork and insolence. It was embarrassing display for a team what was supposed to be shaped into an independent military organization to be downgraded to a bunch of lost children when faced with the prospect of their once powerful leader to be toppled by a rag tag group of teenagers who happened to have legendary Pokemon on their side. Most of Noble Team was smart enough to block the Team Revolution members from getting in Raymond's way, creating a path to the exit of the hanger. Lt. Carter and Lt. Greene followed Raymond as was their orders. Being his right hand men, it was important for them to be at Raymond's side at all times to tend to his every desire. Before leaving the hanger, Raymond turned around.

"Men and women of Team Revolution! I am sure you all heard the rumors of Thrax's death. But I can assure you that the higher ups are dealing with the matter. I will personally clear up as much confusion as I can following the meeting with the board. Till then, I want to continue to complete the duties assigned to you by your commanding officer. Regardless of who leads us, our mission is the same. Remember that," Raymond said with a booming voice. The members nodded like sheep and scattered in different directions.

Raymond sighed as he entered the maze of hallways that built the Team Revolution's Saffron HQ base. The base itself was composed of two halves of a single hole. The heart and soul of the base was the underground system of tunnels. The hangers were built off base on the outskirts of Saffron and lead to this system of tunnels and hallways. The underground housed the grunts, lower ranked officers in its vast number of barracks, stored weapons in its expansive armories and built and stored vehicles in its small factories. It was a complete military base underground.

However, this was not where Raymond spent his days. He spent his days in the tower above this military haven. By taking the central elevator at the heart of the underground base, one can ascend into the office building that houses the gears of madness that make Team Revolution's elaborate operations even feasible. Several floors are dedicated to housing officers and high ranking officials such as Commander Raymond. Other floors are home to businesses or investors that have shares and stakes in Team Revolution's business. Other floors are simply dedicated to businesses that have no stake in Team Revolution (civilian business' as Thrax put in) that rent office space that goes directly into Team Revolution's treasury. The top floors are reserved for the leader's personal quarters and the board room where the top investors meet with the leader and high ranking officers to discuss the next steps in Team Revolutions plans. Thrax had a habit of skipping or canceling meetings from time to time that irked the board members, but the success of Team Revolution eased their minds. Thrax's death would do no such thing. That thought stained Raymond's mind. He would have to face them shortly.

Raymond made his way to the central elevator, tossing aside most of the grunts. A few of the most intelligent grunts would hand papers to Lt. Greene or Lt. Carter, many of them invoices, reports or requests. At least they known, that Raymond rarely took reports personally unless they were his personal subordinates. Raymond finally made to the elevator, ordered Carter and Greene to join him and pressed the button for floor 17.

"A lot of papers for you, sir," Lt. Carter said with a sheepish smile.

"Anything important?" Raymond asked, avoiding eye contact.

Greene shuffled through some papers and handed a stapled report to him. "That is is from an operative of Thrax, a Rosie Taggart," Lt. Greene said fumbling around to keep his balance.

"Never heard of her," Raymond muttered, skimming through the paper with a puzzled expression.

"She is one of those blind Thrax followers you usually complain about. Word around the barracks is that she is quite skilled. Probably could of been an officer if she cared for that kind of stuff," Lt. Carter blurted out.

The elevator arrived at Raymond's floor which was primarily filled with his men and was shared with a few of the other Commanders. Raymond was arguably the most talented and respected of them due to his history of efficiency and brutal tactics. Sure Commander Alexander is the most senior Commander and attends all his board meetings, but nobody fears him like they do Raymond. Must be the lack of scars. Raymond bursted into his office and crashed on his desk, tossing his papers on top of another stack. A young secertary, Raymond's personal one, who goes by the name of Rachel, knocked on the door before peeking in. She was rather young, no older than 20, with a pair of thin black glasses helping her striking green eyes see a bit better. Her long red hair flowed in the wind, occasionally covering her youthful pale face.

"Mr. Sullivan. I received a report some time ago, that Gwen is returning to base."

"Ah really now? She doesn't return my calls very well. Please send word that I wish to speak with her in my office," Raymond said with an innocent smile. Rachel smiled back and returned to her desk.

Raymond burrowed his head in his paperwork, reading reports and signing certain papers, attempting to blast through some paperwork.

Lt. Carter gulped and spoke to break the silence: "What will you do when Gwen gets here?"

"We will wait and see, won't we?"

  • "We've arrived, General." A voice over came over Gwen's shoulder that prompted her to turn towards the speaker. Gwen looked over and saw the grunt that found her inside the cave. Glancing at the name tag which read PFC. Kylier Adrich, Gwen nodded to the young recruit.

"Tell Serina to take us down." Gwen replied. PFC. Adrich saluted and left to convey the message. Gwen turned back to the window and watched as her aircraft began descending towards the hanger at the outskirts of Saffron. As the plane was swallowed up into the ground, the hangar doors closed above them and they made their way towards Gwen's personal docking bay. A soft rumble shook the plane for a second before it became immobile and that told Gwen that Serina had finished docking the aircraft. The crew members rushed about gathering items and lots of documents of all kinds the moment they landed. Serina walked out of the cockpit and stretched her legs and limbs while Leanne was working on the plane's extendable bridge to lock with the platform they had docked on. After a few moments of silent contemplation, Gwen stood up and brushed herself off a bit before walking towards Leanne, who could be seen fiddling with a mechanical control panel near the exit hatch.

"Just a biiit more...." A small noise could be heard from the extended bridge before Leanne gave a small outburst. "Alright! Bridge has connected to the main platform. We are ready when you are, General!" Leanne saluted to show her accomplishment. Gwen grabbed onto the cold metal latch and turned it as she pushed against the metallic door. A cloud of dust swept up and brushed across Gwen's face causing her to sneeze, and she muttered something under her breath. Gwen never liked the hangar much and would always make haste to leave it behind her.

As Gwen took a step out, she saw that a member of Noble Team was waiting outside her plane and that could only mean one thing, Commander Raymond was back. Gwen ordered her crew members to finish up and be dismissed afterwards. Gwen, followed closely by Lt. Serina and Lt. Leanne upon orders, walked towards the Noble Team messenger whom greeted Gwen with a salute.

"Welcome back, General Gwen! I have urgent orders for you to report to Commander Raymond's Office! That is all!" The messenger shouted and saluted once more before he made his way towards the hanger exit. With her hands on her hips, Gwen sighed and shook her head.

"Man... Demanding for you right as we returned... I still need to take a shower..." Leanne said with puffed cheeks. "So what are you gonna do, Gwen?" Leanne looked at Gwen who wore a blank look as always.

"...Not much to do. We report to the Commander as he wishes..." Gwen said with a look of discontent this time. She knew he would be plotting something, but what, even Gwen doesn't have a clue. "Come. As much as I hate seeing him... better to get things over with." Gwen started walking towards the hangar exit with her two officers following behind her. In seconds, their silhouettes disappeared into the underground corridors.

As Gwen and her two officers made their way towards the Central Elevator, Gwen can see that many of the grunts were running about, some were still in a state of shock from losing their leader, while some were able to keep themselves composed as they worked. Some saw General Gwen and saluted quickly and Gwen returned the salute before the grunts ran off again. Things haven't been this chaotic in a long while and this disturbed the young general but she decided to brush it off. Leanne was pointing ahead at the elevator that connected to a shaft leading upwards towards the upper ground level which was where their destination would be. Gwen pressed the up button to the side of the elevator and within seconds the door opened to welcome them in. Leanne quickly entered followed by Serina with Gwen entering last, who reached for the side panel button within the elevator labeled 17 and pressed it. The doors closed before them and the lift made it's ascent up.

The elevator door opened with a ping upon reading 17 on it's visual counter. Gwen, Serina, and Leanne stepped out and walked about that floor. After seeing the general return, many of the grunts on that floor were talking quietly amongst themselves while trying to avoid eye contact with Gwen, but she ignored the lot of them and continued on. Gwen turned a few corners as she walked past the other commanders' offices until she found a young lady at a desk whom she recognized immediately. It was Commander Raymond's personal secretary called Rachel, whom Gwen had met on a few occasions when having to report to said Commander. As Gwen and her party approached the desk, Rachel brought her head up from looking at documents to find the young general. With a quick push of her glasses that sat loosely on her nose, Rachel greeted Gwen.

With a salute, Gwen spoke, "General Gwen, reporting." Gwen saw Rachel picking up her phone and muttering some words into it before motioning with her hand to enter the room. Gwen nodded to the red-haired woman and opened the door to Commander Raymond's office. Gwen slowly entered as did her two officers with Serina closing the door behind them. All three saluted before Gwen spoke out once more.

"...General Gwen, reporting in, Sir." Gwen twinged as she heard herself say Sir, something that would probably make Raymond chuckle deep inside. Gwen noticed Raymond's two trusted officers were with him as well. Things are pretty serious if they were with him.

  • ((Hmmm...I think it'd be a safe assumption that the length of the good guys posts will increase as we progress - we've just been thrown into our positions in the council and I suppose it's natural we'll have pretty lengthy posts as we organise the council and our own positions...that's my natural inclination :D Must admit, Team Revolution are impressive with their post length!! That should be their main weapon haha))

"Kyle...Victini...wonderful to meet you," smiled Tallula, reaching a hand out to Kyle. "I am Tallula Moema of the Sevii Islands, and of course my partner Lugia here...I must say, you arrived at just the right time Hoenn elder. We were beginning to struggle under the assault of Team Revolution...at least, until Regigigas deigned it appropriate to assist us," she glanced over at the legendary golem with a respectful nod. She then turned her attention to the rest of the council members who were assembled and walked over to a rock near the centre of Spear Pillar, hoping that the other council members would follow her and sit with her - there were more than enough stones for everyone big and flat enough to act as seats.

Lugia opened his eyes and watched Tallula move, raising his head. He still felt weak...but this, this was reason enough to move he thought, getting to his feet and walking over to the collection of rocks to settle himself behind where Tallula was seated. Even in his weakened state, the overwhelming emotion running through him at that moment was one of relief - as a pokemon himself, he couldn't even begin to explain the significance of Spear Pillar, and that wasn't just due to his status as a legendary pokemon and a member of the Council. It represented the friendship between people and pokemon, the hopes and fears of pokemon and humans everywhere, and was the one physical link on earth between them and the higher being, Arceus. Although the legends of Arceus may not have been known well among humans, his story and his legend was known well among all pokemon - it is said that each pokemon on the earth takes into themself a part of Arceus' spirit when they are born. For Spear Pillar to have been destroyed...well, the harm would have been near irreparable. That is why Lugia felt he HAD to protect the mountain at all costs to himself and, lesser so, Tallula, and why he suspected Regigigas had come to their aid.

As he thought this, he projected his slow, measured thoughts out to all the elders who were assembled at the top of Spear Pillar. Tallula reached back and placed a hand on his wing as he spoke, feeling the pensive melancholy coursing through him that wasn't a usual part of his personality. She assumed it was because they had been too caught up in the battle...but she hadn't felt this level of attachment to and the significance placed on Spear Pillar from Lugia until she heard his words. As he explained the significance of the place and the story to pokemon everywhere, something suddenly clicked in her mind.

That is why they were the council. That is why they had to fight people like this Team Revolution.

"Lugia is right," she said quietly when he finished, squeezing his wing gently and feeling a rush of gratitude from Lugia, who had fallen silent to his own thoughts. "These...these pokemon...so many of them will never see this place in their whole lives. They know this, we know this...but the importance of Spear Pillar is made no less potent by this fact...and this is how we know the spirit of Arceus lives on in pokemon everywhere and, through the Treaty, with us humans too. I'm not saying this in a religious sense - that Spear Pillar is important because of Arceus' God-like status...but Arceus, creator of the world and pokemon in it, entrusted us all with this Treaty of friendship between humans and pokemon...these people, Team Revolution, have no regards for this Treaty...if they did, they would not have pitted their own pokemon to destroy it." She paused for a moment.

"Imagine a world...like before...where pokemon and humans fought with no end in sight. Where we were isolated, alone, in fear...this is the world that Team Revolution attempted to throw us back into today, and we cannot allow this to happen. Not only because we are the Council, but because we believe in what we're fighting for." she stood up and walked over to the side of Spear Pillar, looking out over Sinnoh.

"I don't know about any of you but...when Lugia chose me...when I was told of my calling...I found it so very difficult to believe and accept..." she closed her eyes for a moment and took a breath. "And even now...I don't quite know why me...why any of us. I am sure there are stronger, more capable trainers out there than we...why not the Champions of each region for the Council? But...we each have something that made US the chosen ones...and I sure as hell haven't figured out what that is yet, but the more we work the clearer it will become, I am sure of it..." she coughed and turned around, going to sit back down.

"So...we have a lot to discuss. Namely, I think...WHO are this Team Revolution and how did they find us? I don't know much about them...do any of you know more about their history, their status?"

  • OOC: Behold an epic joint post by CyBeastSaber and myself. Read and enjoy.

"General Gwen is here to see you, sir." A voice rang through Raymond's intercom.

"Send her in, dear," Raymond responded with a flirt. He always did so with Rachel. Raymond was unsure if the feelings were mutual. Rachel plays hard to get and perhaps explains why Raymond is so fascinated by her character. Raymond once again glanced at some paperwork, paying no mind to Gwen as she entered the room. Lt. Carter stared out the window, enjoying the view, only turning to admire Serina. Attempting to flirt, he winked at Serina, who glanced away obliviously. Leanne chuckled softly at the man's attempt to woo her. Lt. Greene, on the other hand, was filing papers for Raymond, turning to Gwen and saluting like a good little solider would.

    "...General Gwen, reporting in, Sir."

Raymond got up from behind his desk and saluted in turn. "At ease, General. No need for formalities here. Take a seat if you would be so kind," he began. Gwen eased up and thought to decline his offer but decided against it, pulling the chair enough for her to sit on it. "Serina, Leanne you can take seats by Carter and Greene over there," Raymond said, pointing to the table that Greene and Carter perched themselves on. Both females looked at Gwen for her consent, and Gwen nodded. Serina decided to take the seat away from Lt. Carter as she sat across from Lt. Greene, and Leanne from Lt. Carter. Leanne looked at Carter and then back to Serina and tried to hold in another giggle.

Turning his attention back to Gwen, Raymond shuffled through his desk to pull out a bottle of a fine drink (OOC: use your imagination) and poured himself a small glass. "Would like you some? Or would you prefer something lighter?"

"...No, thank you." Gwen replied as she shook her head at Raymond's offer. "...I'd rather not." Once, she had fallen drunk after someone mistook her order and, Rose, her alter ego, took control, and things were chaotic and bloody nonetheless. She couldn't remember the night, but Leanne and Serina had, and from their explanation of the scene, Gwen made certain that would never happen again.

"...What is it that you wanted to talk about?" Gwen paused for a second before asking. "This better be important..." Gwen thought to herself.

"Can't two officers have a chat?" Raymond said with a little sarcasm, finishing his glass with one gulp before gently placing the glass back on the table. Gwen scoffed at his sarcasm. "Fine, I'll cut to the chase," Raymond muttered bitterly. He grabbed a stack of papers from his stack and tossed over to Gwen. "There is the report detailing Thrax's death. Supposedly he died in combat while fighting the council. The exact circumstances are still a mystery and my team will investigate it further in due time." Raymond poured himself another drink and took another gulp. "As you can probably imagine, the Board upstairs is not too happy with the death of our fearless leader and will probably want to see my head on a spike since its my 'fault'…however," Raymond paused grabbing another stack of papers and holding them in his hand. "I had Lt. Greene write me up a report detailing my call for reinforcements that never came. Here's a hint: It's you. I could easily place the blame on you. And you know how the Board treats those who take extended vacations to do 'independent research' all too frequently," Raymond said with a snicker.

Gwen knew something like this would happen. She gathered the pile of papers into a neat stack once more and flipped through a few of the pages skimming quickly through before looking back at Raymond. His snickering face made her want to punch it but she held back.

"...Be that as it may. Blame or not, if you feel it was my fault, then so be it." Gwen went silent for a second before she chuckled to herself. "If you are that afraid of the Board, I'll take your place. Hm... Maybe this will give me a reason to give those bastards with their heads stuck up their-... another little present. I'm sure they'd like that. ...Hell, I can even help YOU for that matter."

Gwen remembered a meeting she was once called to by the Board upon complaints of her over extended vacations similar to that Raymond had mentioned. The Board deluded with their so-called superior authorities over everyone decided to teach Gwen a lesson starting with insults to physical abuse. Brought to the brink, the little Gwen faded away and a crazed laugh came from the powerless body. Rose had appeared and her thirst for blood could not be stopped. She knocked unconscious the body guards that were with the Board and slowly made her way towards each member. Cracks and muffled screams echoed in the room as she broke limbs and legs of the well-dressed men with her unimaginable strength leaving them with petrified looks on their faces. Rose walked over to the Head of the Board and brought her face beside his ear before whispering into it.

"Hm... So Mister Head of the Board... Shall we keep this a secret? You wouldn't want anything to happen to this little one here, would you?" Rose whispered with a hint of malevolence as her hand hovered above his jewels. The fear stricken man nodded his head and Rose left with a finger upon her lips as if telling him to hush and disappeared behind the closing door.

Returning back to reality, Gwen once more looked at Raymond with content. "So.... Shall I take you up on that offer?"

"I am no more a fan of the Board than you are. I am sure you heard the rumors of my open disrespect towards those cooperate fools. They think because their monthly paychecks are greater than our annual salaries they can boss us around. I'd love to send my Garchomp loose in that horrid board room," Raymond said with a chuckle.

His expression grew more grim and his body more tense. Raymond got up from seat and turned to the window behind him, staring into what seemed to be space. He sighed and closed his eyes. He had to think of how to phrase his thoughts and how to communicate to Gwen. "I am sure you saw the chaos for yourself in the Underground. The grunts are scared, rattled and disorganized. Many of them are lost children who joined because they have nowhere to go. They need a leader. Someone to idealize and admire. Someone to follow blindly like sheep in a herd. Thrax's death leaves a void that needs to be filled. When I go to the board meeting, I will divert attention to that and demand they select a new leader. And I--I will nominate myself," Raymond struggled to say the last words, as if he was unsure for a moment. He returned to his seat and put himself at Gwen's level, hoping to ease her somewhat. "The reality is I will need your help to do so. I will need the support of several divisions, ideally the core of Team Revolution. I am aware that you command a great deal of respect from your own forces. If they support you and you support me, so will the rest of Team Revolution and whether it be out of fear or respect does not concern me. With that, the Board will swing to my favor and I can assume the mantle of leader in Thrax's absence. In return, your insubordination will be forgotten and I will allocate more funds to your research projects. The only catch will be that you remain loyal to me and aid in the campaign against the Council of Elders," Raymond said plainly and to the point.

Gwen closed her eyes and thought for a moment in silence. Raymond was right and that Team Revolution at the course it is going on would be doomed in the future. Gwen wouldn't have that. She still needed them. As much as she hated Raymond, she abhorred the Board even more.

"...Alright." Gwen finally said as she opened her eyes. "Phantasm Team will aid you. Make no mistake. I still don't like you, but you... are more capable than any of the other commanders. " Gwen brushed back her hair that had fallen in front of her face before continuing. "...On to the future then."

Raymond motioned a toast with his empty glass in agreement and leaned back in his chair. "I appreciate the support, Gwen. I do hope this will be the beginning of a friendship," Raymond began, almost sounding sincere. "I will head to the board room shortly, but before that I have do have some orders for you. Well, not necessarily orders. First, you can have the next few hours to yourself. Unwind, freshen up, go to town, whatever. Following the board meaning, I shall call you on your personal phone with a location and time. You are to meet me there. You may bring your ladies if you would like as I will bring Carter and Greene. Consider it a triple date if you will. Come hungry," Raymond said with a laugh. "We shall discuss some important details there. Oh, and please dress well ladies. Wear pretty dresses or something," Raymond said with a sly smile.

Gwen looked at Raymond suspiciously before nodding her head. "... I'd rather not call this a date." Gwen replied and stood up before saluting Raymond. "...Then I will take my leave." Gwen eyed her two officers who nodded and left their seats as they made their way to Gwen. Opening the door, Gwen left first and Leanne last with their figures disappearing behind to closing door.

"Was it wise to make a deal with her, Commander?" Carter asked after a few moments waiting for the others to leave. "I am sure you heard the rumors of what Gwen does to those she doesn't like."

"Rumors or not, my coup d'état will not be successful without some support. I may not trust her, but I believe I made a deal that is hard to resist." Carter and Greene nodded to each other in agreement. Raymond stood up and gathered some papers together. "I will ascend to the board room now. You two can take a break. I will see you tonight."

  • After hearing Tallula and Lugia's lengthy speech, Reshiram decided that she too should stand up and speak what was on her mind. With a gulp, and her head raised high, she stepped forwards and spoke. Not through telepathy, but she actually spoke. "I know very little of this 'Team Revolution' and their motives, the reasoning behind these crimes against nature. I may, however -" She swallowed again, "Know how they managed to track us here.

"On the way out of Ecruteak, I heard a slight noise, similar to the suspicious buzzing we heard earlier. I was going to mention it to Helena, bu, I held my tongue. I thought I was being paranoid, worrying too much about today's meeting and the events that may ensue afterwards. I noticed other odd instances throughot my journey - I thought I saw odd shadows, one that didn't belong in the world of the clouds, that moved much too swiftly and silently to be a pokemon or more clouds of any kind. I thought nothing of it - dimissed it as paranoia. But now I have worked out what it might have been; Team Revolution jets, amnned by spies, aiming to find the location of our meeting today. They knew we were having a meeting. It would be foolish to say otherwise. They didn't neccessarily know where this meeting may be held, or of the content, but they knew it was important. That much is obvious.

"My point is - they may have followed Helena and I to this meeting. I regret not speaking up earlier, I honestly do, but I couldn't face the shame." Reshiram lowered her noble head, and looked down her wolfish snout at Helena, who looked surprised, but not angry. "I'm sorry, Helena." She whispered, to the red haired girl who was still sat on her neck rings, and Helena rubbed the little ridge above Reshiram's eye encouragingly.

"Thank you for speaking up Reshiram. We now know how they may have reached us here, but it might not have been the case. We may not have been the only ones who were followed. One of the other elders that didn't teleport here may have saw something, what that something is we don't know, but hopefully your couragous confession may encourage the others to speak up." At the final word, Gardevoir returned to Helena's side, and she called her back into her pokeball. "Thankyou."

OOC: This is slightly longer than some of my other psts, but still nowhere near as long as some of the posts of the Team Revolution member's posts. It's actually quite hard to come up with that much substance in just one post when other people are involved with out bunnying xD

  • Jan listened to them speaking, but said nothing. What needed to be said had been said. Anything she could add would have been redundant. So she waited patiently for them to finish.

"Well, now that we know how they got here, we now need to decide what to do about them! We can't let them complete any of their plans. Everything else is secondary. Now tell me, what should we do about it?" Jan said, a plan forming in her mind already. She smiled at the thought. They would finally be getting something done as opposed to all this waiting around.

"What are you thinking?" Celebi asked her with her mind. Jan smiled inwardly.
"I have an idea, but you may not like it," Jan told her. She turned to the rest of the elders, though that term may not have been appropriate. None of them were that much older than she was.
"We need information. We need to know what they are planning. In short, we need someone to be on the inside so they can warn us as to what they are doing. It must be someone that they haven't seen, so anyone that was up here when the fighting started is out. They also need to have a psychic type to be able to communicate with the other elders. And they must be discreet enough to go unnoticed," Jan said confidently.

(OOC: I heard you on that one!)
