I love Justin Bieber, he's hot and very talented, I wish I could meet him, but why do so many people hate him, what's he done to them?

I'm in love with him and I want to know why people hate him.
(Lets hope I get some Beliebers post on this)

I think it's more of the fans that are hated rather than Justin. I don't hate Justin. His fans and Beliebers annoy the hell out of me though. So there's my answer.

Oh and most people just don't like his music and feminine voice and are jelly that he's dating Selena Gomez and don't like his hair and yeah. That's all I can think of bye.

He's like any famous person, he's got fans and he's got people who just don't like him, simple. But, he's a pop sensation (and one of the biggest of our day), so he's got even more fans/haters than most celebrities. But I agree with Sydian, it's the fans who are 'hated' the most. Most of them are fine, it's the die-hard fans that ruin it for the rest of them. Some of the things Justin Bieber's fans do are...scary, and quite frankly, disgusting. Sending death threats to Selena Gomez? Who the **** do these brats think they are? I don't have a problem with Justin Bieber, but the cult-like attention he gets is just pathetic.

I don't hate Justin Bieber (in fact, I respect what he's been able to do in such a short period of time), but I agree with both Sydian and Harlequin that it's the "Beliebers" that people don't like moreso than Justin himself. I personally don't care for his music, but if other people do then good for them, just as long as they aren't overly obsessed with him (there are other artists out there, too).

And because he doesn't deserve the fame or fortune he has. He just lucked out by meeting the right people who could get him to where he is. There are so many more people that are far more talented and they would never get a fraction of the attention JB has got. He pretty much represents the generic over manufactured and artistically devoid side of music.

My personal problem with him is not his music. There is so much generic-yet-popular music on the market that to hate everyone who creates it would require far more time and commitment than I possess. No, my problem is his personality. He is so utterly obnoxious I literally can't stand it, and watching him speak is just more than I can handle. He is way too cocky and his "Beliebers" (who I agree are a lot of the reason for the Bieber-hate) have made him that way.

Though I will be the first to admit he has improved recently, but that's probably more due to the fact that he's been less visible. A combination of general publicity and the Beliebers made it so that you couldn't look sideways without seeing him for a while there.

Alright, I'll try to be as unbiased as I can be.

I admit it, but at first when he rose to the fame, I actually hated him because I was jealous of his success. Now? More of "he didn't deserve much of it" kind of hatred. Same reason why I hate many other celebrities, including that kardashian *expletive*.

There are also "beliebers," who think he's some sort of a demi-god (idol is too weak of a word) who make me hate him more. Trashing freshmen girls' bieber backpacks in hallways are fun though.

On a slightly unrelated note, people I am jealous at now, however, are people who came with original ideas and make millions, perhaps billions (Perfect example: Mark Zuckerburg). They do deserve to have the money they have, though.

Uh, what? Do you actually do this? I mean, I'm all for hating on Bieber, but this seems a little extreme. That's someone else's property. The Beliebers are horridly annoying little people, granted, but that's not cool. There's sort of a line between trolling Beliebers and being a bully lol

Believe me. You'd be compelled to draw a moustache on one of his "faces." Literally 1/3 of all the girls in freshman hallways are littered with justin bieber backpacks, and I'm not even lying. Me and my friends are just sick of seeing them so we'd do something to relieve our stresses... admittedly in a wrong way, obviously. But hey, they're "beliebers." Being a senior was probably the main incentive though.

One time I did get "caught," but the girl just stared at me. I sneered back and she almost cried. Normally I'd feel sorry for doing something like that, but all "humanity" is completely gone in front of typical sad little "belieber." (by that, I mean just those annoying girls)

Not making fun of bieber himself anymore, though. That's getting pretty old, though my friends insist on making fun of him.

    [EDIT]

@OP: It's probably best to just ignore the haters (sounded like a "belieber" there for a sec, lol). He's a hate fodder because he had a girly voice, short stature, and has "baby-faced" appearance - perfect conditions for making fun of someone. Again, just ignore them if you don't agree.

i'm personally a fan. a "belieber", if you must call me that.
my kind are probably the reason why most people dislike him. i must admit, i hate those overly crazy fans. i'm probably one of the very rare beliebers who aren't screwed up in the head.
another thing people probably dislike about him is his fame. they feel like he isn't talented enough and doesn't deserve the attention he gets. i must admit, his current genre (dance and pop music) are quite unflattering for him. they don't showcase his real talent. although, of course, vocally, he isn't as magnificent as some other male artists, but the guy taught himself how to play about four different instruments at very young ages, and you must admit that there's some talent in that.

Make fun of him all you want, but it's unnecessary to ruin someone else's property. I personally would hunt down someone if they ruined my stuff, whether it was drawing a face on the person on my backpack or whatever.

..It's just Justin Bieber. No need to ruin peoples property. Who cares if they like him, it's their choice. I'm sure you wouldn't want your property defaced or ruined simply because you liked the artist that was on it. :/

He is loved because he fits the ideal teeny-bopper male idol appeal (Jessie McCarthy, Aaron Carter, it's all the same). He is hated because outside thirteen year old girls, everyone can see that he doesn't have much talent. Now, give him a few years and more age to both his appearance and his voice and add some actual substance to his voice, he could've actually appealed to more audience.

That being said, damaging little girl's property is wrong. Period. Shame on whoever does that, for that's just cruel. These girls may be naive, but that doesn't give you right to bully them.

    I lol'ed

As usual, Vendak speaks my mind. The only reason he is popular is because 90% of his fanbase is underage girls who have nothing better to do than to stalk and spaz over him. The stuff that I have heard from them is crazy. My point is backed up with OPs quote.

    No, that isn't love.
Personally, I think his songs are boring and just annoying and soil the idea of 'music' that I love. That is just my opinion.

Captain Fabio sums it up nicely with his multiquote.

I shall add my thoughts however.

First of all, he's too young. His voice isn't even solid yet. If he were about oh...16 or 17 when he rose to fame I could have perhaps taken this guy more seriously.

Second of all, he's basically a product of some Disney plot. I believe it was Disney Channel which got him noticed by the underaged girls, and I know they did it because Hannah Montanna wasn't doing it for them. xD

Third of all, he isn't creative at all. His music, lyrics and everything are all as generic as it gets. He doesn't sing about anything interesting. You might even call some of his lyrics "upstart" and "rude" to people with actual talent who had the sensitivity to point out his flaws early in his career.

Last of all, his fans are terrible. The fanbase he has is nothing but tween girls. What they see in him other than some glitzy PR and a pretty face I don't know. Not to mention his fanbase is so huge it's not even funny...and can be WAY creepy. I mean seriously I can understand the girl talk of "Ohhh he's so cute" at some private affair like a slumber party or whatever....but some of these fans are not just that way....they're obnoxious about it.

Because the fans are so damn annoying and obviously naive, Justin Bieber is looked down upon by anyone with two brain cells to rub together, mostly because we see right through all the glitzy marketing and PR that his label pushes. We're real music listeners and we DON'T like this kid, we think he's too high pitched, too young, and too arrogant for his own good. He doesn't even offer any serious musical value or lyrical value. He writes his own songs yes, but they're terrible obviously and do not appeal to anything outside the tween girls who fall in love with him Just because he's a kid celebrity.

At least this was better than Victory Road's approach to Justin.

I happen to LOVE Justin Bieber, it's ok for haters, but NOT to ruin property, if somebody, did that to my Justin Bieber stuff, I would have killed them, he may have a 'feminine' voice, it's just how he was born, he's got a titanic ammount of talent, I hate Selena Gomez, I agree with some, he shouldn't be so famous, he's 17, and after watching Never Say Never, I felt so sorry for him from growing up poor, everytime I see that it makes me want to work with him, I'm so over-protective of him because he has haters, If I became famous like him, I wouldn't go on my own, I'd work with him, because him and I have so much in common, I bet he plays Pokemon, he's quite tall as I've seen in photos, I want haters to cut down on all this hate and get over it, why be jealous of Justin Bieber, he's MY baby!

My biggest issue with Bieber is that his rise has led to incredibly unoriginal "*insert number of dislikes* are Bieber fans" on various Youtube music videos. I want to light all of those people on fire. You have no idea.

Other than that, he's just like any other pop singer. He's just marketed very effectively, much like Taylor Swift. Nothing to get worked up about IMO.

I try my hardest to stay neutral, personally, I find the hating on Justin Beiber and Justin Beiber fans pointless, sure Justin Beiber fans tend to be annoying, but I find the Justin Beiber HATERS even more annoying than the fans...
