I think people are forgetting out hard it would be to make a 3DS pokemon game. First would the AR feature then the graphics plus models for all 649 pokemon in 3D. They may want to finish the 5th gen main story and have the first 3DS game for the Hoenn remakes. I approve since it would be weird to see the first BW in DS mode then go to 3DS mode

We already have the models for the fifth gen in Pokedex 3D and we already have all other models of previous Pokemon from previous games(Stadium, PBR, etc.) so all they'd need to do is just work on making them look a little more fit for this generation.

Btw, The Pokemon Company was one of the first to get the 3DS dev kit, so they've had time possibly for another game(with a remake, they already have the originals to base the region off of, etc); they could've released a title if they wanted(although one is in the works most likely anyway).

  • there is still a chance to it
except when they said Black White was a fresh start of the franchise and really mean it about they word.
Saying Black and White are a fresh start in no way implies they will release two different sets of sequels to it.

After Black and White 2, if people will be bored with Unova if they are not already. Releasing two sequels is a bit overkill, but to release a total of 4? That's just a horrible business decision that won't make money.
I have noticed a new feature in the live show when there was battling, trainers animation when they throw a pokeball, I'm not sure if I really saw that, but it would be nice if it's true.

    That's not a new feature.

  • Why is everyone assuming its based in Unova? Could be an old or brand new region.

That's incredibly unlikely as well. Unova game sequels are going to be based in Unova, just like the Kanto sequel was in Kanto, Johto sequel was in Johto, Hoenn sequel in Hoenn, and Sinnoh sequel in Sinnoh.

  • You didn't get it, what I meant is not the intro animation, but when they send the Pokemon out to the battle, I can't explain it very well...

When they actually throw the ball or direct the Pokemon into battle? That's not new.

What are you talking about? This is the first time we ever got sequals. The others were remakes.

Honestly if you told me yesterday that today we would see the reveal of TWO new Kyurem formes and two NEW games I wouldn't believe you. Im surprised, but in a good way. I was sick of the third games just having little add ons. Im happy this this will (hopefully), be different.

What do you mean? GSC were sequels, they just didn't take under the same name as the Kanto based games with a 2 put at the end.

Why wouldn't there be Gyms? I like them, specially the Gym Leaders themselves.
The only problem I have with them, is tediousness they represent. Much all you do, is only (optional) Search the Gym Leader first>Enter>Solve "puzzle">Beat the crap of everyone inside>Challenge Gym Leader>Win. That's it, rinse and repeat 8 times. Only some Gym Leaders that sent you out for something before you challenge them. One that come first in mind is Mikan (Jasmine). She sent you out to search for herb first, and then you can challenge her. This is wasted potential since many of Gym Leader have great saw how great their design really are (especially Gym Leaders in HGSS).

There is one bi g rpoblem I had with them, but save that up for later.

  • I'm kind of curious, but what exactly makes the third game in the series not sequels? They're not remakes, I don't consider them remakes because Fire Red/Leaf Green and HG/SS were officially called remakes. I realize that the Nintendo never calls the 3rd game a sequel, but they never called Black/White 2 sequels either.

I'm just a bit confused on the wording of everything.

Cause if they had gym leaders it would be the same as the first game and they could just call it Grey and not have 2. Now if they change the gyms like a few new ones ok. But I'd rather they take the gyms out this time around for a change

They're not going to take away anything that has been crucial to Pokemon since the beginning. Taking out gyms would be like taking out type differences. It's not going to happen.

Why whenever a new game is revealed, people always say that certain things in the game (gyms, types, starters, etc) should be removed when we all know that won't happen?

tbh this is speculation so you saying it won't is just the same as me saying they will.

Do you think that really gonna happen? Beside the exp calculation formulan and coding, Pokemon doesn't really have major change since the 3rd gen. Most of them are improvisations or just an add-on. Gamefreak instead stip away much of the side feature from the older games, and almost do nothing to improve their game core.

Instead of removing them completely, which can people gone upset and went to raeg, it better for Game Freak to instead revolutionize them. Successful revolution means that Game Freak is a great developer as well.

My speculation is actually based on something and this is that nothing ever drastically changes in new main series Pokemon games, especially the third game. New Pokemon, new graphics, new attacks, new items, new characters, new plot (in new generation games.) They don't take away anything that is fundamental, ever. You're just speculating random things with no basis of fact, you have no reason to believe they would take away gyms.

Your acting like a sequal has been done. in the same gen. While GSC can be looked upon as a sequal it was gen 2. This seems more of a direct one hwere it features the same cast and maybe new ones. Besides at this point everything is speculation and its just rude to call others idiots for having a different view. Even if it has not been been done people can think what they want to think.

    Anyway moving on....

Masuda just tweeted Black Kyurem" and "White Kyurem" are the names of new legendary Poke'mon!!

Instread of saying the new formes he says new legendary. So.... are they now 651 Pokemon or was it a mis translation?

Are you that clueless? There is no confirmation if its a3rd or a true sequel. There has never been a true sequel based in the same gen. So your views are nothing more then trollish. Forget it its beyond your understanding. GSC were follow ups but not based in the same gen. So this is a new thing so your "proof" is just as thin as my speculation. The reason they could take gyms out is because it would be pointless if its going to be based on Touya's and Tokuo's journey. however gyms can stay if its based on a new person's journey. I never said they would or should I say its possible.

I'm not saying your wrong but I am not giving up my views just yet

Sequels don't have to happen directly after the originals to be 'true', not sure where you got that from, tbh. With that in mind, these could possibly be the first 'direct' sequels, although at this moment we don't know what the heck will go on.

You're acting as if these will be the first sequels, period. They are not, though. Them being in the same gen doesn't mean they are any more 'real' sequels than GSC. That's what I'm trying to say.
