So the Ruby & Sapphire anniversary dialogue turned out to be true. The Oceanic Museum is the Museum found in Slateport City, excitingg. ;)))

Its not a hint. We've gone through this with B/W people. THERE ARE NO HINTS. These are Easter Eggs. There are MORE references to Sinnoh than the two Easter Egg Hoenn references. They are JUST EASTER EGGS.

There are no hints. These are Easter Eggs. There are more references to Sinnoh than there are to Hoenn. People need to calm down and stop snagged every single straw they see. B/W and B2W2 have shown us that there were NEVER any hints in the game. Stop being so desperate.

I agree with you that not everything is a hint, and the two mentioned are really just references to the games. Yet that one piece of dialogue where the person says that you will see it in due time, pretty much is a GIANT hint and not a reference. The key difference here is that they're actually saying that we will be able to see hoenn in due time. If it was just a reference, the NPC would just say hoenn is a beautiful place and just leave it at that. However, gamefreak have gone the extra mile and actually told us that they will happen. While with other dialogue that people seem to think hints at r/s remakes are not saying anything at all, this in particular piece of dialogue is basically saying "you're going to see it soon"

It was actually supposed to read Hoenn Reference rather than Hoenn hint. However what I'm saying is that out of what has been leaked so far, something with the words Ruby and Sapphire and a location in Hoenn within the same sentence is something worth mentioning.

I agree, the hints honestly screaming for Hoenn remakes, I think it's Emerald remake since it will be in 2014.

Are they actually referring to hoenn when they say you will see it in due time, as far as I'm aware they just say that where they are from is somewhere we should 'check out' and has a facility we wouldn't believe, this COULD be any region

He never says that about the region. When he said "You'll see in due time" he was talking about the battle facility. To which later in the game you enter the Battle Maison which is like every other battle facility they've had. Which is our "You'll see in due time".

That was never a Hoenn reference. The trainer never said he was from Hoenn. He said that his home region had a battle institute which "every" region has. There is no proof that the kid is from Hoenn. The only thing linking to that is the fact that the fans that want the remakes are desperate and clinging to every possible chance they see. There never was a reference to Hoenn when that NPC talked and his You'll see in due time was specifically linked to the battle institute which we DO get later after that point which turns out to be the Battle Maison.

Even without the numerous hints in previous games, and of course there new ones in X/Y, i think it's about time for the 3rd Gen remakes. If you think about it, every new console generation had both new Gens + The remake of an old one. GBA had FR/LG, DS had HG/SS and most likely 3DS will have RSE. Simple as that...

On the Granbull fairy thing: I wonder if all the Pokemon that were previously normal and have been made to fairies in X/Y will lose their normal typing, or if maybe some of the will be Normal/Fairy

one of the easter eggs actually says you will see it in due time thats not just a reference thats straight up telling us we will see it in due time now whether thats next year or whenever is debatable but i think it might actually mean something

I doubt that's true, that would be too inhumane for a game designed for 3+ kids. Not to mention that PETA would be all over these games if that turned out to be true, GF wouldn't make a silly move like that.

why would he go from oh my region is great and has this facility but actually be referencing said facility in this region his full words(not exact) were kalos is ok but you should see my region it has this awesome facility ah nevermind you will see it in due time he is referencing the one in his region not this one from what i saw he never mentioned this regions facility unless the person skipped that part to make it look like he was talking about his regions facility

a person some time ago lost his pokemon in a war and created a device to resurrect them however it caused MANY pokemons death to do so. i believe flare intends on using said device in some way

Its not that simple actually. Gen 1 and Gen 2 had no connection to the later generations and were remade to bring back the full connection of all the regions together. Such a thing is not needed for Gen 3's titles as its still possible to get Pokemon from Hoenn and transfer them to Kalos.

With the drop of a lot of the older Pokemon being available there isn't a need for anymore remakes.

Top it all off, Generation 6 is an entire generation feeding off of Generation 1. If anything Gamefreak is saying that Gen 1 games are being remade because the popularity of Gen 1 is whats the defining factor for this generation's game set. There is more substantial proof to back up Gen 1 remakes over Gen 3 remakes. More references to Sinnoh than there are to Hoenn based off what the leakers have said.

They were horribly wrong. While the pattern for each set of consols still hasn't been debunked, It holds no proof that they will do it.

They've said that they did not want to do things like they did in the past. This included making 1 game to go along with the two initial titles, including other regions within a new game, and there is a possibility it includes rehashing an older game.

They've changed their focus to advancing the Pokemon world. You only advance by moving forward and letting go of the past. Chance of remakes are in fact fairly small with what they've stated. They want to move forward with Pokemon and constantly advance it.

I looked silently through these various last pages and i gotta admit i now love GF. They have done some major changes to the game that are, in my opinion, very very good and apealing.
The music is great, the lvl cap for GL, E4 and Champion is higher, The pokemon....omg.
Team flare are killing pokemon for like, social Darwinizm? Best.Story.Ever.
Pokemon with 5 different patterns, and a whole line with form changes? (yeah flabebe's flower color is passed to the evolution, means Floette's and Florges's flowers can also be red,blue or yellow.)
If Yveltal dies, EVERYTHING DIES?! I just love this generation, might even be my favorite!!!!!!
You get all the things right from the beginning, the rivals call you in nicknames (which you can choose...), Pokemon-Amie does not suck?

Everyone has good points. Yet people forget everything is possible at this point. They have changed a lot of stuff in the past two generations and are breaking old traditions. i think its mainly cos not much info other than hints in the game that could be seen as evidence towards remakes atm

His region was also never stated to be Hoenn. The context of it is strictly related to the Facility, in which we get the Battle Maison. He could be from a Non-Canonized region that also has the same facility. The NPC has NEVER stated where he is from and EVERY region has a battle facility. The FIRST region with a battle facility was Johto as well so there's no reason it should have been confused with Hoenn. People are reading the entire thing out of context and grasping at straws.
