So, are all those leaks on /vp/ true or false? I read a message on page 121 to remember it right where someone posted a picture of someone updating their status or sending a message to someone saying these leakers are Nintendo's biatches basicly and everything's been just a big fat troll. :P I really do hope that this is the case because my hopes and dreams toward these games have sunk pretty badly during the last two weeks while reading those leaks.

Yes it says 745 and yes it has been "confirmed" by Kanpachi that Yveltal's national dex number is 718. So either this image is fake or there are actually 96 new non-event Pokemon. Or they're both fake..

Thank you for confirming my feelings.
I think it's all fake myself.

I think it's 145 from the coastal or moantain dex don't remeber which one.

I guess this is is true, since looking at the icon before the number shows its either one of the 2 dexes, not the national one

I hope the rumours about the nerf to weather are false. Weather is very powerful but it seems like to harsh of a nerf to me.
Spoiler:

I have to say that is one heck of a massive nerf if it's proven true. It would really hurt weather teams in competitive play, if they are going to make the weather-inducing abilities' weather effects only last as long as the moves that induce the same conditions.

i think it is 145 and it refers to one of the dex regions specifically the mountain region

718 was in the national dex not kalos you should keep that in mind
edit
which means there is 5 pokemon after him in the mountain dex, would that be legendaries or could it just be normal pokemon?

So if Yveltal dies, everything else will die. According to its pokedex entry. that's pretty deep bro.

That woudl completely suck! i hope its not true, not only for competitive play, but for pokemon in general that have become way more attractive since they got these abilities. Anyway, where are you guys getting this supposed nerf from??

Geez, does anyone have a pic or link at hand for the ingame map with the routes and stuff? I'm sure I saw it a while back in here, but I can't find it.

"image removed"there ya go doesn't have names but i can remember a couple of the places names
actually the guy in this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMM1ycLYxiY shows all the towns, have fun!

looks like all the stuff people are saying in game about hoenn is true which means something has to be happening with that region soon!
There were Hoenn references in 5th gen too and nothing happened then. =p Don't be too hung up on just references, as they could be just that - nods to previous games, not potential new ones. They don't need to do that anyway to make remakes, after all.

First I've heard of it, but unless there's an image to show it or it's come from the leakers that gave us reliable info already, I wouldn't worry too much about them. Lots of rumours everywhere after all.

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I new of this video, I just wanted to compare the routes to the drawn map. Holy moly, I just can't wait to get my copy :D

Be warned, major spoilers so don't watch if you're the kind who wants to do a blind playthrough when you get the games. Now some interesting stuff I uncovered thanks to this, Viola's Surskit knows Bubble and Water Sport so that can really be a surprise if you chose Fennekin and were expecting yourself to have the advantage because not only can it hit you super-effectively, but also nerf your Fire attacks. Also, those who chose Chespin will have their beloved Grass chestnut struggle against Vivillon due to it being 4x Grass resistant and having attacks hitting Chespin super-effectively. Froakie also faces the problem of its Water attacks being resisted by Surskit so I have to say Game Freak really did a good job here to ensure no starter has the advantage.

Thankfully, based on this and other videos seen in this thread you can get Flying-types like Pidgey early, and heck even Pikachu would do great against her Pokemon due to them being Electric-weak. Basically, if you don't have Pikachu or a Flying-type you may have some issues. Going by the player's team, it seems you can get Farfetch'd early as well if I recall.

Player's team in the video: Froakie, Pikachu, Fletchling, Burmy and Farfetch'd.

jirachi posted an image of the old person talking about the anniversaries of which are ruby and sapphire and there was another person talking about his region(never saw hoenn specifically) but he said you will see it in due time so 2 references to past regions and one specifically states you will see it in due time and you are right they dont need to do it but it would build hype and as we have made the jump to 3d they may be more inclined to do a remake like they did with fr/Lg when the games got to a noticeable difference graphically and what better way to showcase the difference then by comparing the new to the old
the exact words in both are: the Kalos region is nice and all, but you should really check out my region! Theres this facility that you wouldn't believe...Ah nevermind, you'll see it in due time.
and
The 40th anniversary is the ruby anniversary, and the 45th is the sapphire.

I bet this person caught a Bunnelby and traded it for the Farfetch'd. It appears to learn Aerial Ace very early, making it a great counter for all those Bug-types in Viola's Gym. Finally we see a decent use for Farfetch'd imo.

Also, kalos-pkmnacademy posted this image on Tumblr featuring the different wing patterns of Vivillon:
Spoiler:

There are 5 forms, the fifth one is the white winged one we saw in a Pokemon Bank screenshot a while back, it's not shown here but I love how they made all these different wing patterns for Vivillon. Makes it one of the more interesting Bug-types out there.

The blue one is the Polar Pattern, the pink one (which is the default) is the Meadow Pattern while the green one is called the Garden Pattern. Hoping we learn the names for the orange and white ones soon.

hmm im guessing desert based? but could be cave it definitely is determined by location as the garden pattern evolved inside the first gym and im guessing you need to be in a meadow like area to get meadow and polar is somewhere cold or north/southern areas

Biggest Hoenn reference hint yet;

Spoiler:

So the Ruby & Sapphire anniversary dialogue turned out to be true. The Oceanic Museum is the Museum found in Slateport City, excitingg. ;)))
whats the significance of the last thing you mentioned?
