Lucario was finished and quite enjoying her, started a Sableye (Prankster) project today managed to get a decent enough 5IV one from it (All but speed I think it was) so he'll be a nice change as Ive never bothered much with Ghost types before but I love stall pokemon so he'll go nicely with my Mega Venusaur.

Sableye~ If you are up against me in a battle, about 85% of the time I will have some variation of Sableye with me. Normal Prankster support, Mega Sableye, stally Prankster support. Anything. x3

Liking Sableye so far going to start another project to blissey base level alongside him, Kangaskhan. Will try him out as a new mega option and see how he survives, will take a bit to knock venusaur off my top spot though.

OMG! MEga Sableye is the best! If played right (and it really isn't hard to play him right) Sableye will literally never die. Give him Recover For sustain, Calm mind to raise that SpD, Wil-o-wisp for Physical pokemon, and either Shadow Ball or Dark pulse.

The thing I liked about Sableye was prankster which he loses when mega, but his defences are awesome in mega form (and I like the design of hiding behind the gem). Will breed a Kangaskhan anyway and see which I prefer when played.

Okay! Definitely tell me how you like it. Mega Sableye is the ultimate setup wall. ;P

Thanks to Blissey bases got them in a decent condition for some battle maison fights on super singles.

Initial thoughts are that Mega Kangas ability is great especially with power up punch's attack boost x2. Survivability is ok, have him with sucker punch, power up punch, return and Earthquake. Would be nice to have some healing with drain punch (x2) but dont think its worth losing one of these other moves for, might try it some time and see though.

Sableye works great with prankster, currently running Willo wisp, Confuse ray, Substitute and Recover to take advantage of prankster. Not sure on keeping sub though, nice to stop status attacks but a lot of powerful attacks just break it right off so its constant re-applying and wait for them to die from fire/confusion damage.

Will try Mega Sableye tomorrow and report back, will set him up with Willo, Recover, Shadow ball and Calm mind as you suggested and see how he fares.

2 things about Sableye. I recomend Taunt over Sub, since it will stop status (unless it is something like Nuzzle or Flamethrower) And Knock Off/Snarl work GREAT on Sableye, depending on what kind of battle you are in.
As for Mega Sableye, I personally like Dark Pulse a bit more. Shadow Ball hits Sableye's one weakness (being Fairy) for Neutral, but at the same time if you are up against a Normal Type you are kind of stuck. Dark Pulse hits everything and isn't walled by anything.

Its more moves which have a secondary effect like defence/attack down etc sub is handy for but ill try taunt to see how it fares.

Righto I'll use dark pulse instead.

Will try and do some proper online battle spots tomorrow too to see which is better against real people.

Well after a decent trial im going to stick with Kanga as my mega and Sableye as my secondary (well I usually send him out first to soften them up a bit).

Mega Sableye is great but lack of prankster loses his main appeal to me. Magic bounce is a really nice alternative but hes so slow it always feels like you're reacting to the opposition rather than taking the fight to them. Went with Willo, Snarl, Calm mind and Recover as I can then beef up my defences and offence as well as hitting them and debuffing. Dark pulse would kill them quicker but after a few calm minds Snarl does the job very nicely.

Mega Kanga has bulk enough to survive most attacks good speed and some nice hard hitting moves, plus the parental bond double attack boost of power up punch and the option of double healing with drain punch makes him a nice thing to have. Not to mention the ability to kill off sturdy users in 1 attack! Will see how it goes with drain punch, Power up punch, return and Earthquake but might switch back to sucker punch in the end for better coverage and priority.

That sounds good. :P But I just personally will always chose Mega Sableye as my go-to mega. So far, the only other Megas that can stop Mega Sableye cold is Mega Altaria and MEga Audino. All the others struggle against him. :P

This is definitely one of those times you wish there were multiple mega slots!

I could quite happily run Mega Kanga, Mega Sableye and Mega Venusaur.

Not sure what to try and breed next, my 3rd battle slot is currently Greninja for specials and coverage (Scald, Gunk shot, ice beam and low kick) but id like to try something new.

    Cheers.

Didnt get a chance to look at a new project yet, just continuing through Maison trying to get my 50 wins. Sableye and Mega Kanga setup working very well so far with Greninja as special support.

Probably will keep my singles team as is as it working very well, now looking towards doubles/triples team. Want to build a good sun team around M/Charizard Y, Venusaur (chlorophyll) but not sure what else to add in as not too up on good movesets and combos for doubles/triples.

Cherrim seems a nice boost for the team if I add some more physical attackers but it clashes with Venusaur for a spot so id have to see how it did as chlorophyll venusaur is awesome.

Any other advice for good sun team support/abusers to breed?

Sorry I haven't been active really. Been really busy. I have been keeping up to date on the club though, so I know what's going on. Welcome any new users; I have updated the list a little bit ago. Glad to see everyone talking about breeding to some extent.

How about another question. What was your first shiny hatched from an egg? If you haven't hatched one yet, what would you like to breed to get a shiny?

My first Shiny I hatched I think was a Froakie, sadly it wasn't protean but luckily 2 eggs later I got my shiny protean one so that made up for my huge annoyance of shiny with the wrong ability.
