Sad news guys :c

Japanese singer Kouji Wada passed away on Sunday, April 3 due to cancer in his upper pharynx. He was 42. Close relatives held a private service for him.

Wada's agency Solid Vox will hold a "Wada Kouji Owakare no Kai" (Kouji Wada Farewell Event) event for his fans. The event will take place in Tokyo in the latter half of this month. Solid Vox will announce more details on the event on Wada's official website at a later date.

In 2003, a malignant tumor was discovered on Wada's upper pharynx and a lymph node on his neck. He was able to treat the tumor with chemotherapy and surgery and was told that he had recovered completely at that time. He then put his singing career on hold in 2011, after revealing that he was suffering from a cancer in his upper pharynx. He returned after two years in 2013.

Wada is most notable for performing theme songs for the Digimon anime franchise. His major debut came in 1999, when he performed the theme song "Butter-Fly" for Digimon Adventure. He has since provided the theme songs for Digimon Adventure 02, Digimon Tamers, Digimon Frontier, Digimon: Data Squad, and Digimon Xros Wars. He also performed the opening theme song for the original Japanese version of Transformers: Robots in Disguise (Transformers: Car Robots).

His latest work consisted of performing theme songs for Digimon Adventure tri., the six-part sequel film series of Digimon Adventure. He performed a remake of "Butter-Fly" titled "Butter-Fly ~ tri.Version ~" for the first film, and similarly performed "Seven ~tri.Version~," a remake of his song "Seven" from Digimon Adventure, for the second film.

Anyway , I can understand why people desperately want Takari to be canon.
Nobody want to feel like "Aldonath Zero" where some Random ass guy steal the heroin while 2 hero rots somewhere.
However , I don't TK to be fulfilled! He already has everything A guys wants.
Thats Why I'm crazy about a new Digidestined appearing and winning Kari heart in the right way .

theres no such thing as a "right way" when it comes to love.
that being said, this Takari thing has always been thrown out of whack. people find it so hard to believe that a guy & a girl can be best friends without getting into a relationship. besides, i'm pretty dam sure she isn't going to have the same exact relationship with davis & tk that sora, matt & tai had. her ending up with tk would just be a repeat of things.
especially considering how similar tk is to his brother & how similar davis is to tai.

besides, the last episode of 02 made it pretty clear that the only digidestined to get married to each other was ken & yolei and matt & sora. it was already stated that the cannon of 02 would remain cannon, even the 25 year time skip

If the writers went that route, I'm sure that there would have been some clue in the epilogue that Hikari and Takeru were married at some point. Like some mention, or their sons having blended features like the children of the other two couples. The status of Sora and Yamato's marriage wasn't explicitly mentioned in the narration, but you could tell that they were currently married or at least married at some point in time because their children had features of both parents.

The epilogue never said anything about they being married or not So anything can happen.
After all , We didn't knew that Izzy will have a massive crush on Mimi.
Furthermore , The VA already confirmed TK's feeling for Kari.
So , if They didn't get married then the question is --
Who NTR Kari from TK ? Who's actually good enough to NTR Kari from TK ?
Considering, TK is 'Perfect Guy" that a girl wants ! Furthermore , TK protected Kari and share a connection with her.
Furthermore , TK was the one to bring Kari back from Dark ocean.
So , Its hard to believe that A Random guy just appeared and steal Kari away! That's why I wanted a new Digidestined as Hackmon's partner who does something that legitimately cause Kari to fall for him.

Specially since Kari care most about Tai who going though a difficult time and Matt can't seem to get inside his head.
So , Maybe This New Digidestined finally snap Tai from his self-doubt and help him reach his destiny.

Upon seeing Meikuumon's abrupt transformation and killing of Leomon, before disappearing to the other side of the distortions, Taichi and co. are unable to hide their agitation.
"If Meikuumon has been infected, I want to know what caused it. Could there have been initial symptoms? When did the infection occur?"
While coming to terms with the situation that has gone beyond his imagination, Koushiro wracks his brains on what he can do to counter it.
However, finding no effective methods, he presses Meiko with questions in order to get whatever information he can.
"Please, you have to remember. We need more information in order to figure out the cause of infection."
Meiko, hanging her head, is unable to answer…
Agumon and the other Digimon are kept isolated in Koushiro's office in order to prevent them from infection, but signs of infection begin to appear in Patamon…
At the same time, Agumon and the others learn an important secret about the Digital World through Hikari's voice.
"The time… draws near…"
And when Meikuumon appears once more to battle them, that "time" arrives.
Taichi and co. are agonized by the secret that was revealed to them.
As each of their feelings intertwine, they make a decision.

time that will come, virus, the return of the homeostasis...
hmmmmm homeostasis(which is what took her over the first time) doesn't really have much lore in most of the digimon franchise, especially in its debut.

but there is more lore on it in xros wars manga. in that manga it was a system made to replace yggdrasil as host computer of the digital world & as the digital worlds god. it also kicked lord bagra out of the kernel(core of the digiworld) after bagra questioned it on the world justice. later on it made a prophecy that a red & black dragon would destroy the digital world. that red & black dragon turned out to be zeedmillenniummon.
that manga really isn't canon to the anime universe as far as i can tell, but it dose bring up a theory on whats up.

millenniummon is a being of time. theres always been an off chance millenniummon secured a way to revive should ryo have defeated him.
now where did the dark spore that turned ken into the digimon emperor the first time come from? millenniummon. its quite literally a piece of millenniummon.

then theres the virus. when meicoomon went all zerker on leomon an X appeared on meiko's digivice

the dna X could mean X-Program. the X-program is a virus thats always created by yggdrasil to clear out the majority of digimon after the digital world reached maximum capacity outside of a chosen few.

so then, what would happen if the ENIAC went berserk? or got infected by a virus from an outside source? like say misses smiley?
the whole thing about gennai going to them for help has been a good bit off since the get go.in 02 he clearly stated that he was purging information on the digital world from government databases because he knew they couldn't be trusted. so why would he suddenly go to a government facility for help before izzy? why would he not inform izzy of this development?
the princess river sushi is clearly a poisoned dish.
so what if ENIAC got tampered with & created an X-program which made it so those infected would go on a digimon killing spree with the survivors being infected by it? but so far it dose not seem to affect humans. so then, what could cause ken to go digimon emperor? the virus. unlike anyone else, ken has a piece of a digimon in his neck

if it can be copied via bar-code scanner theres not much stopping it from getting infected & in turn empowered.
this time it may not even be ken or the digimon emperor in control but rather millenniummon.
there's also something else to consider. it was remarked earlier how the dna X looks like apocalymon's arms.
apocalymon is millenniummon's & millenniummon's two former halves: kimeramon and machinedramon's variable move in anode/cathode(which turns a digimon into another digimon)

makes you wonder if a renewed millenniummon is gonna spring forth from ken's neck or back....

Not exactly Tri specific, but Mizutani Yuko who was the original voice of Sora has passed away :(

The Original Voice Actress For Digimon's Sora Has Died

If you've seen anime, then you've probably come across Yuko Mizutani's voice work.

Today, Oricon reports that Mizutani passed away on May 17. Previously, she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Mizutani made her TV anime debut in 1985, voicing Sarah Zabiarov in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam before going to lend her talents to numerous anime, movies, and video games.

One of her most famous roles was Sakiko Sakura, the older sister in one of Japan's most beloved TV anime, Chibi Maruko Chan. She also voiced Sora Takenouchi in Digimon Adventure and most recently voiced Ikuko Tsukino in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal.

Some of Mizutani's video game voice work includes Iris in Mega Man X4 and the Japanese voice of Minnie Mouse in the Kingdom Hearts series.

Mizutani was 51 years old. She will be missed and may she rest in peace.
