Lol. Guys, don't scare away healthy competition! Anyone is free to sign up with an application, not just our active fan here!
This is precisely why I am going to hold off.
If anyone makes a female Weavile to win over Gabriel they get my vote. Just saying. Bias there and all.
I am curious about how she's gonna get written off. Maybe she'll be an employee that's puppeted?
wow look at all these words that aren't an SU oh how charming of JUST MAKE IT ALREADY YOU SCRUB
Actually, that brings me to a question I should have asked earlier. Say, I do join. what happens if I apply prior to the Kirlia's debut, whenever that may be?
If you joined SA, then my original third Kirlia returns to the part of the troupe. Maybe if you'd want to keep up that background, they all know your Kirlia from when they did/do ballet together.

I heard that there was a spot left. Am I too late?
Kiyo! You're here too?
Catmaaaaan
No, go for it. It is open to everybody; get writing.
I heard that there was a spot left. Am I too late?
Sorry that it's not fancy or anything, I wanted to get it in as quickly as possible.
Alright. I'm assuming you know if I read the other sign ups or not due to the large amount of time it took me to respond. {XD}There is no rush. Take your time with your application. I would advise after reading the entire first post that you also read through the Spirited Away applications, so that you can better understand your character's potential co-workers, and try to craft a character that falls into a unique niche that helps make for an interesting player who diversifies the store dynamic. Forget-Me-Not applications are secondary to you (save for Amaryllis the Florges), but useful in understanding the overall dynamic and how every character brings something immersive to the table.
Have you done this prior to your sign up? If not, I will not be reading your application until you have confirmed to me to have done so and whether or not you feel inclined to change your character after reading.
APPLICATION FOR: Spirited Away
Foremost, this is not Jubilife City. This is Jubilee, a non-canon Pokemon-run town in an undisclosed region. Do please correct this.
I feel like, at some point, almost everyone made that mistake. In all honesty, I also keep thinking Jubilife instead of Jubilee. I probably do this because I don't want to associate the town with one of the lamest X-Men characters ever.

Huh? *checks post* {D:}Foremost, this is not Jubilife City. This is Jubilee, a non-canon Pokemon-run town in an undisclosed region. Do please correct this.
I actually thought of it as Ne-OH-fi-tus, but either way is fine. Just call him Neo. ;)As an aside, may I ask, how do you pronounce your character's name? Is it like Neo-FEE-tus or Neo-FIGHT-us?
I like meat. And now for the meat of it:
I wanted Neo to be a teenager, like the Pokémon equivalent to a 14-15 year old human, how ever old that is. While I knew that his level isn't dependent on age, I wanted him to have a low level (because he doesn't really battle), but still be high enough to have some decent moves.Neo's personality overall, you describe, as "childish." While that isn't an inherent issue, I'd like to know to what age you liken Neo. Remember, a Pokemon's level in this role-play is not necessarily representative of their age, too.
Honestly, and this is a very weak excuse, it just felt right. It was either that, Tail Whip, or Tackle (I had already used my TM move, which was Double Team).Neo knows Helping Hand, which is curious to me. In-game, it's a move that boosts the power of an attack. Since the idea is that there will be very minimal chances for an actual battle and more so a focus on the social aspect as imitated in human society, can you tell me how you'd employ Helping Hand, the effect you'd have it incur, and an example of how your character during the role-play would ideally use it in a non-battle sense?
I just want to make something clear. I did not steal your idea, Kiyo. It was original. Or at least I thought it was. {XD}I think Neo's family background on the surface has a lot in common with Who's Kiyo? (formerly Collect Elwood; he changed his username yesterday)'s character Cicaro the Furret. Cicaro, from Forget-Me-Not, has a large family, was the first shiny in his nuclear family much like Neo is the first Umbreon in his, and they both felt overshadowed by other family members and set out to make a life for themselves through a job in Jubilee. Maybe they two can identify together, should they ever meet long enough for that conversation. Or, if you personally feel like you are, in some way, infringing, you are free to change your background as well. That part is all up to you.
Well, that (It's successful from Neo's point of view), and his mother's side's achievements (A.K.A Stuff that I wanted to add later for plot building purposes if possible).I will ask though, what makes Neo's family so successful? Is it just that they evolved from their basic stages?
They did at one point, but his mother, wanting a change (Plot building again), decided to move to a new town, thus beingI also want to know, since Jubilee is only three years old since being re-colonized by Pokemon, where did Neo's family reside before then? Are they Jubilee residents now, or do they live on the wild outskirts? Or did they come from another town? If they came from another Pokemon-run town, I will mention since this isn't information I felt needed to be explained in the OP that these particular towns are spread far apart.
I really like your idea. I think I might change it now and have him evolve later. :)I feel like, at some point, almost everyone made that mistake. In all honesty, I also keep thinking Jubilife instead of Jubilee. I probably do this because I don't want to associate the town with one of the lamest X-Men characters ever.

So you guys lose a Dark-Type just to get another Dark-Type. Gabe must feel pretty relieved that he will always have a fellow Mon.
I kind of like how Neo is explicitly young compared to the other members, or at least I'm assuming that's what you're going for. I feel like he would serve as an interesting counterpart to Sam; instead of a man-child who just sucks at life, we have an actual adolescent trying to take on more adult responsibilities. The idea is very cute and could be endearing, especially when working alongside some of the more seasoned SA cast members. Thank the Lord he's not working for the flower shop. There's already been a murder over there.
I kinda feel like the character should be more neotenic in appearance, though. Umbreon doesn't really give me that "childish" vibe (unless you're deliberately going for that irony). I could be wrong, but based on Sam and a few other details in the RP like the Leveling, I've always interpreted evolution separate from age; Neo can be still the oldest of his siblings but maybe he's apprehensive about evolving or something. Maybe that could also serve as another thing that urges Neo to prove himself, since he feels a little insecure about the fact that he still hasn't evolved and feels he's bringing his family down.
But hey, maybe these aren't optimal to the setting. Don't listen to me, I'm an inept writer who spends more time trolling in OOCs than posting in ICs and I'm just trying to steal Jaunt's position as the most infamous GM ever.
How can you mistake anything for Jubilife, it's like the most boring town in the Sinnoh region.
