Yeah, but the "cool" profiles like mine can only be done by staff and supporters. The supporters are those with the green usernames in italics you've seen floating around, they are basically the donators of the forum.

When it comes to choosing a forum to post in, just think about your likes or maybe what you feel like posting about or discussing, then find the forum that sounds like it'd appeal to that! It's what I did at first, anyway. The amount of forums can be intimidating but if you go slow and look around, it becomes easy! :]
