  • Riiiiiiiiiight. I don't flirt. I only P.I.M.P. XD

Activeness always helps. Getting on the bad side of people somehow helps as well. o_O
I'm never sure what to think of him either. There are times I love him, but I usually feel indifferent toward him. Re-watching the old series has actually made me appreciate him more though. (1-2 seasons. 3-5 were pretty good, but so much filler. >.< Filler can be great, but in small doses) Brock didn't used to be one of my favorites, but I'm also starting to appreciate him more. His emotions sort of make up for Ash's lack thereof.

I'm glad you think so. Recently, I've been thinking I'm one of the only ones to find it a fulfilling fantasy anime. Sure, it's not like Clannad, all emotional, dramatic, romantic, and maturely funny, but Pokemon has its own aspects to make itself a great and nostalgia-filled anime. It's one of the only anime-animes and not cartoons that are purely Japanese but are still decent kids' shows. Most animes lose that touch to them, and seeing an anime like Pokemon keep up the storyline and its kiddish antics, it kind of makes me smile.

Sometimes character developments are hard to noticed. ; ) Yeah, I'm glad Gary developed. The one I wish could develop is Tracey. He used to be on of my favorite guys, mostly for personal preferances, but lately he's just seemed a little 'bleh' to me. That's why I like watching season 2, it reminds me why I liked him in the first place. But after season 2, Tracey hit rock bottom, and even though I'm happy he's where he wants to be, I wish he, along with Misty, would show up as a re-occuring character.

True, but when they're against your favorite character, they can make you a little sad to think people feel that way.

Yes, and I suppose to make her "more interesting" or something, Pokemon decided to break the cutie. (It's a tv trope) I was disappointed at her numerous loss of contest battles, and then one of the ones she won was against May, who should've had way more experience. I just think Dawn's character is wonderfully designed, just not put to good use.
    Jordan - .......
Jordan - Wow, this is sad
    . Jordan

Doesn't sound that way to me, bub.
If you think that's the case, be my guest.

Just don't vote for me if you feel uncomfortable ;-; And I'm not related to you, pop.
Nah, I don't have patience or much confidence in my writing, which are never good qualities in a fanfic writer.

Yeah, even as a Misty fan, I admit there are some annoying moments. However, every character's been annoying at some point in time to me. But really, as her character developed, she stopped talking like that to veryone else. Sure, she's short-tempered but lately her sweet side has been shown. I actually like the fact she's gotten mostly past her flaws, as there are some characters *coughAshcough* who keep making the same mistakes and have certain flaws they don't seem to be improving on. Oh well, I suppose an anime like Pokemon can't be perfect. Is it just me, or do the girls get more character development than the guys? Because while the character development sticks with the girls, I've seen a lot of Ash's old flaws come back to get him.

I read it, and it frustrated me. It really does show how far some anti-Misty fans take it. I think that they're just going by the general idea of what they think of Misty, some of that being the traits constantly pointed out by others, installing a false image of Misty. But hey, it's not just Misty, that happens with anti-Dawn fans too as much as I've seen.

That acknowledgement is enough, trust me. Some people go crazy describing 'hints' that mean nothing. I mean, I've seen certain disappointing Pokeshippers do that in the past, giving us a bad name.

I'm actually an ex-Dawn hater. I made the mistake many anti-Misty fans make, relying on, what I like to call, "character steriotypes" Now, I admit, some of these are personality traits, but others are just past tendancies that the characters have outgrown and yet they follow them anyway due to the anti-fans. I'm personally glad I don't hate, dislike, or disrespect Dawn anymore. Not to say I bashed her, I just outright thought her as useless. I know differently now, and I've actually grown quite fond of her. (and Penguinshipping. IMO, Ikarishipping's a bit of a crack couple) To tell te truth, I think May might be the character I'm most like. Perhaps it's equal or maybe even less to Misty, but all I know is that i've always loved May. Never even thought of bashing her or considering her a bad character at all. <3 I'm so glad I don't hate characters now, I find hating them a waste of time. ^^
*sigh* I know, I was disappointed in it myself. But I was tired, and I didn't feel like writing anymore. ; P

    Why, thank you. <3

I understand the last two, but annoying how?

Awesome, looks like someone might be a Pokeshipper. 8D Yeah, Misty can be really funny when she wants to be. Hmm, family huh? Guess thats someone is also a big fan of the Sensational Sisters...

You're the second ex-Misty hater I've talked to recently. I bet there are a lot more haters out there, just waiting to comprehend her amazingness. {or at least I hope so} <ay and Dawn are okay by my standards, but I think Misty acts as a better female companion for Ash. However, I'd be more than willing to watch a spinoff of May, Drew, and Harley's travels. ^^ I love that Hoenn trio.

O.o How could I call myself a Misty fan and not have a screenshot of that? *saves straight to her Misty screenshot folder* Thank you~
Interesting. Oh Aristotle, He was one one of the most influential philosopher in the Renaissance period or European century? right? Man I have totally forgotten the history of Europe.

I got 19.5 out of 20 in History,Geog and Uh Mathematics surprisingly.
    Prepare for a long VM.

Misty is a headstrong girl who starts out as a rather caring and helpful girl, but with a vicious temper and a stubborn attitude. She's a very relatable character, from her love of cute Pokemon, to her strong dislike of certain things(peppers, carrots, and bugs), right down to her silly fashion and romance craze, something all girls experience around that age, be it a girly girl or a slight tomboy. She knows how to stand up for herself and doesn't need to rely on a man's help, having grown up with three older sisters. As she develops, she begins to accept her relationship with her sisters for the way it is, knowing that even though she'll be the one to help them out, her sisters are willing to take care of her when she needs it, as they do care for her. This is a pretty good character development, as some would hold grudges against older sisters that they thought cared only about themselves, but Misty knows better than that. Misty, although she doesn't always show it, has a kind and gentle heart. She worries frantically about those she cares for, as shown for the times she was willing to risk her life for her friends, especially Ash. With Ash, she constantly clashes with him, yet inspires him to do his best. I believe she did an amazing job at keeping his confidence in check, raising it when he needs it most, and deflating his ego when he gets a big head. After a long time of traveling with him, and getting to know him, she started to harbor feelings toward him, forgetting her initial reason for traveling with him.(although I do find it a bit fishy that she only followed him around for her bike....most likely she was attracted to him even then) Along the way, she also be-friended Brock, and maintained his overly flirtaious attitude so that his true personality would show. Misty, while not the only influence, did a lot to keep her guy friends at bay so as to make them better people. In a way, Misty leaving did have one good side effect- they finally started to learn how to manage their behavior themselves, as Misty had for so long, often unappreciated at the time. Misty has shown impressive intelligence, as she was the one, not Brock, to figure out Blaine's riddles and spot right away when James was lying in his story. Also, she has that somewhat lovable side of jealousy that gives her the courage to defend her relationship with Ash, as shown throughout the series. She shares this desire with Ash to prove their worth to each other, sometimes shown through their constant debating, which while that can actually bring out the worst in their personalities, this can bring them to an important realization. An example of this is during the last episode of season 1. In this episode, Ash is already feeling ashamed of losing, and when Misty comes in and tries to cheer him up, he takes this as pity and lashes out. In order to defend herself, Misty continues to argue with him, and later Ash sees how mistaken he was for acting that way.(although I disappointingly saw no apology directed to Misty, but I suppose that's a pride thing)

Too much? I could probably write more, but you might get sick of my Misty/Pokeshipping-filled ranting. ; )
I will...but later. I must log off now, have some things to do. I've been on the computer too long. See you later Bob.
