  • As long as you're absolutely sure! I just.. hate the idea of taking a perfect pokemon from you when you have the ability to make more of it and spread that happiness to more people. Cottonee would sit in my box, with a near perfect Cottonee in your hands, you can make beautiful things happen.
    You're really pushing my moral compass. :c I definitely do want it, but I'd feel bad taking a near perfect Pokemon off your hands for nothing. Are you absolutely positive? ;w;
    Shoot, yeah I don't have anything worth 5IVs to offer. But if you come across a simple little Cottonee, do let me know! n_n;
    Eee! Is there anyway I can take it off your hands? I don't have much in terms of trade, since I haven't been doing any breeding work myself. But as long as it isn't 5IV or shiny, I'd happily offer something cute in return! ;o;
    EV dear, I have a question for you. Do you by chance have a Cottonee? I'm pretty desperate in my search for one.
    I thought that was a given! I don't think I'm going to become a teacher. I don't know what I'm going to do. All I know is that I really hope it doesn't involve a four-year degree.
    Yeah, but I'm ignoring my homework. I've pretty much lost all of my motivation and I'm wondering if I should take the four zeros I would get from not doing it. I think I've done one assignment this past week, and that was in class. Bah, I hate college.
    I've tried that a few times. It mostly just turns into a story on how I don't know what to write about. :P
    Yeah, with FF&W's splash in the main section, I'm pretty sure everyone knows how I feel about forced writing. :P

    I'm just running out of ideas. I'm not sure what else to write about. I don't quite feel like starting up another novel, and short story ideas are few and far between.
    I've been taking a break from it, but it's not helping. I haven't been writing much else though, so I'll try that.
    I think everyone feels like this. For me, I feel like writing until I open Word, then all my motivation goes out the window.

    I think it may be time to move away from Alien Poverty. I'm just... bored? I don't know if that's the right word, but I just don't feel like writing about it anymore. Meh, I'll write some other things and see how I feel.

    I don't know why I just typed that...
    It helps so much having people read and comment. It helps with missing oversights like that. It's a little embarrassing at first, but it helps in the long run. Believe it or not, but Pain (my newest short story) was the first piece of writing where I was careful to look back and edit things. I'm not talking about proofreading, but actually changing words around and editing the story to my liking. Everything else I did in one shot. Not the best tactic, but I'm getting over it.

    I totally get how you feel. Well, FF&W isn't all that busy, but you definitely have to be in a special mood to write. I have the hardest time going back to edit things. I just finished it, why do I have to go back? XD
    You're showing, which is always good. I've lost count of the people that receive the "showing v telling" explanation, and I was relieved to see that I didn't need to do that for you. The flow is also pretty good. It was a bit too fast overall for me, but at least it was consistent.

    One thing I would have liked to see more is character interaction. I didn't mention it in the review since I just thought about it now, but the scene with the main character (you're also good at avoiding names) speaking with the waitress was a bit awkward. The main character was worried about having enough money, but he then pays for a huge meal, the best room, and still has money left over. It just struck me as odd.
    Mac told me you finally hatched a shiny Eevee D: Is it true or is he just making that up to get me to change my sig?!
    I can definitely see your strengths in that piece, and writing is a great way to cure boredom!
    If it's a prequel, I think it's fine. As long as nothing comes before it, all of the details should be coming across. There was a fic I read that was actually a sequel modified to stand on its own, and it worked out pretty well.

    Was everything I said pretty clear?
