Hey all, I use to play Ash Gray way back when it didn't go past the 3rd gym. I am so excited to try this version. Only everytime I go downstairs from Ash's Room the screen goes black? Whats the solution to this bug? Thanks!

Eh neither of them particulary spoke to me. Just a novelty gender difference since gender difference were added to this gen.

Thing is, brock or misty could be insanely tough depending on your starter. But I think Sabrina is just annoying no matter what your team. Although pyschic type was way more powerful in Gen 1.

I didn't find out my emerald was fake until the game deleted itself. Be wary, if your not sure, transfer! They are good at putting some of those little details. Like white lettering saying copyright and such in the cartridge. And yet, my fake emerald had the sticker coloring slightly off. Silly...

If you give a little of both, everyone can be happy. Plus, go for more then the 150 range. That seemed like plenty when we all played Gen 1, but now it feels limiting. I like knowing we can all have drastically different teams. With 151, you see a lot of repetition with the stronger pokemon.

Its fun to play through the gen as you watch the season. Thats how I got caught back up in this crazy world of pokemon.
