  • I don't think it works like that, you need to set the tile to be "overlapped by hero" or whatever, 20 in the bottom box, as setting the Movement Permissions doesn't change the animation. Try that.
    Haha well practise makes perfect, in any case, I put together a 5 min thing and hopefully it helps! ^_^
    oh i also forgot to mention -- avoid doing Sugi style with pixels, unless it's the style you're aiming for - as I realised that the highlights are, well, like the Concept Art itself, instead of like the Pokemon sprites. x3
    oh, you also misplaced some black lines, and lack a tad bit of shading (specifically the hind limb of the fakemon).
    Lookss good, you just need more contrast between colors and make the lineart "rounder" -- or as ppl like saying it "more flow".
    It's actually good, I'll spice it up later once I find some time--with more explanation. ;)
    If you're having problems with palette choice, you may use existing ones (giving the author credit of course) or use the ones from official Pokemon sprites. ^_^

    Since it's a hack you're working on, I assume that the sprites will have to be 64x64. :P
