  • No prob! Enjoy your night, I really should be going to bed right now, but I wanted to see you turn blue. ;P
    P
    Whooops! I thought I replied when I saw you replied, but I guess I didn't. :(
    I was wondering why I didn't get a message ~~back~~ from you.
The downside to RNG is that you can get anything you want, so there's no need to trade with others anymore, except maybe for legendaries, events you missed, etc. But then again, if you get lazy like me, your reasons come back!

Uhhh. It probably took me a couple of hours to get the parameters and such, but that's actually pretty slow work. You can get that done in an hour if you know what you're doing or have help (like if you go to #tradecorner they'll help I'm sure). And to actually RNG my first Pokemon, it took a while cause I was doing it in the wild and not an egg, but I wanna say I got really good, reliable, and fast at RNGing after about a week. Congrats on finding your Lite btw!
Same tbh. I hardly trade anymore. Or RNG. Kind of sad, really.

If it makes you feel better, I like a lot of posts. XD So I'm sure other people are thinking the same thing. :P
hm. i dont really agree with it. they should of left it as is.
but i have to admit it does make sence. as the stronger pokemon beating a weaker pokemon wouldnt learn much. thanks for your time man.
hey dude, i seen on one of your replies to a thread that the gen V games have a 'staggered' exp system..
would you care to explain the differences in the new games?
Yeah, messing up the game clock is the least of your worries. But as long as you stay out of WFC on the DS that you don't want to use for trading and such, then you'll be fine. :)
    Aww that's adorable.

And yeah, switching systems will change your friend code and your Pal Pad, but it only does that when you go into wifi. I go back and forth between my Lite and 3DS with the RNGing and what not and haven't had problems...though I miss having wifi that worked with my Lite so that I don't have to worry about that. :(
Oh yes, RNG on a 3DS is difficult from what I understand. :( I use my DS Lite. It's the easiest to use for that, along with the phat.

    Also, yay! Slowking! :D
I think that's the #1 reason people actually learn it, haha. But yeah, it's not so hard when you get the hang of it. I only know 5th gen RNG though, but apparently it's not too bad in HGSS. I can do egg RNG in DPPt for shinies only, but I don't recommend learning in that game. It's pretty tedious.
I didn't care about IVs when I started, either. I just wanted shinies. But I mostly wanted to RNG so that I could help others get good shiny Pokemon they wanted, so learning the ropes with IVs came with it haha. And yes, I'll always be around for help when it's needed! n__n
It's pretty easy in gen V, actually. I'd be willing to help you if you ever try again. :3 And the nice folks in #tradecorner would gladly help you too. That's where I went to get help with it, haha. Then I became like...RNG goddess and disappeared from Trade Corner. :( lol
