it's mainly just adding a few more characters in (and without BrawlEX because that's cheating)
i have thus far added in roy, mewtwo, isaac (from Golden Sun iirc), knuckles, and lyn
these are just extra character slots
pichu as a pikachu alt (a working one, not just a crappy skin that bleh), little mac (over jigglypuff or bowser, can't decide), ryu (over wolf), and lucina (as a marth alt, and not just a skin)
i'm thinking of replacing isaac with someone else. suggestion? i'll see how feasible ahaha

Yeah for some of them (Slowbro is coming to mind for me) they don't entirely match, which is FireRed's fault, so there's only so much we can do without getting complicated. If you fiddle with the choice APIE gives you, you should get something that looks all right.

Oh by the way I updated the attachment so that it has all forms of Unown and three out the four Deoxys Forms, just in case that's relevant/interesting to you.

When you say the palettes aren't right, what do you mean? Do you have a screen shot? I think when you insert them with APIE it allows you to choose from three different palettes and you have to select the best one. Vanilla FireRed is kind of limited with its default icon palette choices.

There are probably easier ways to do it, but I do it creating a level script to compare the time of the day. If it is night, use JPAN's Special 0x58. If not, use JPAN's Special 0x59 (Clear the new wild poke data). Set a flag to prevent using Special 0x59 more than necessary.
