Well, this regiment is supposedly only for the summer. It might change in my sophomore year.

Also, my high school issues laptops to all students, so I can always take an hour a day at least to hack after school. :)

Sinnoh in general was weird, but fun. I liked it. Also, in HGSS the bug catching contestants are moved into trees where you can't find them. Gamefreak is a lazy company, where it just moves the unused NPCs into a tree, instead of hiding them LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE DO! Lol
Now that I hack, I see all of Gamefreak's shortcuts. Same with adding new moves, they were lazy in creating the moves.

Got to learn the tricks ;)
Did you know that in the real platinum version, there were two separate pokemon for giratina's formes? Stupid. All Gamefreak did was swap your Pokemon and keep moves and ivs. I'm going to do that when it gets down to it.

The manga is its own canon. I prefer reading graphic novels over watching the boob tube at 5:30 AM on CN as well, honestly.

I get to continue the saga on my own time, I get to pick what to read, when to read it, and how to read it. And you know what? I can do whatever I want to do with my books – be it mark them up to hell in sharpie, annotate them in pen, or get them signed by their artist at a convention.

Can you do any of that with the anime?

I don't really like the other sagas besides Red and Blue, mainly because I'm in love with Mato's style of art. I wish they didn't change it in G/S D:

Do you read the manga? If you don't have the money to order the books themselves, I advise doing a torrent search for Pokémon Adventures.

I downloaded scans of the first 31 volumes. I have to admit, it's nowhere near the same as reading the book itself :/

Well, I just ordered the box set for Pokémon Adventures: Red and Blue. It's gonna be exciting reading them :D

Other than that, I've been phasing out of ROM hacking, since my parents restricted me to three hours a day on the computer.
