Nope it's still season 8! But the show's been renewed for season 9 which will start in the fall, and according to the producers, they have a story-arc that can carry on to a 10th season at the least. The runner of the CW said as long as he was running the channel, Supernatural would never stop. It's. That. Good. xD

Haha that is just very understandable. Supernatural was only supposed to run for 5 seasons. When season 6 came along because of how popular the show was, the show-runner was changed and seasons 6 & 7 ended up as disasters. I hated them too but I pulled through because I love the show. With season 8 though, they pre-meditated, gave it a lot of thought, went back to the original focus of the show, and the show runner changed to Jeremy Carver who imo was the best script writer before seasons 6 & 7. Trust me, season 8 is the best to date. It's just amazing.

lol I'm always up to date. Except for the anime. I stopped watching somewhere in the beginning of Fishman Island Arc. I thought since the manga was moving faster, I'd wait for the anime to finish up an entire arc instead of having to wait for pieces of it to enjoy it. And yeah, I think Monet is dead too. There aren't too many people who would survive having their heart stabbed. :<
