I think the club is doing an art collab, and people are claiming characters fast. I chose Steven or Jasper (Garnet, Lapis, and Malachite were taken), and if you want Amethyst you'd better say so soon.

Are you saying you didn't notice the sexual elements way back when Amethyst fused with Garnet in Coach Steven? The crew even animated it to "Freak" by Estelle!

Everyone can see the sexual elements in fusion. It's obvious. Especially with the extremely sexual dancing. However, Rebecca Sugar claims a fusion just represents the relationship between two individuals, whether romantic in nature or not. This makes Malachite especially horrible, considering that it may have been Jasper's first time fusing, and Lapis has literally chained them together like an abusive or toxic relationship. Hence Garnet's comment. Also, malachite the substance becomes toxic when underwater.

How so?

Malachite just scares me and makes me sad. Jasper didn't really do anything evil (she's just an asshole doing her job, it seems like) so the punishment really does not fit the crime. Plus, Lapis's self-hatred is destroying her inside. It's pretty horrible.
