    D3DGear does all jobs nice and easy for me... plus it allows me to stream too.

    Yeah, it doesn't seem to want to record the older games like Red Alert 2, but when you can record, it is a mighty fine thing. Rarely had huge frame drops.

    FRAPs screws up my laptop completely and doesnt record sound, i use a tool named D3DGear which is a excellent tool imo.
