That's very true, and with a practice in medicine you don't really leave a lot of time for yourself to focus on both. Though that doesn't mean you can't later like you said.

I've heard a lot of things about Breaking Bad, but the premise of the show itself doesn't really interest me and from what I've seen, I've never really cared for it.

I like movies almost as much as I love television, especially when it's a series. However, the advantage of a television show is that whereas a movie has to develop its characters and plot all within an average of two hours, a TV series can take multiples seasons/years to really round out its characters and tell an even more compelling story.

For me, what makes me fall in love with a show most of the time isn't so much the plot but the characters. Once I get an attachment to them, I become really invested in the show and what's going to happen to the characters I really like.

You hit the nail on the head with the way you described television. All of this is why I actually would really like to get into the film industry and become an actor and maybe one day write and produce my own television series.

I'm currently watching Under the Dome myself. I need to marathon Continuum's second season now that I've finished my Revenge re-watch.

shows: i like anything on tru tv. i like storage hunters, pawn stars, la ink, big brother, etc. xD
video games: rpg and shooters. uncharted, tomb raider, and tekken for sure
