Actually, in reflection, it bears the slightest resemblance to one of the very first Pokemon sprites I made (below). Think there's anything to it? I kind of... Well, kind of don't, since the similarities are few, but still.

Yeah, it pretty much just needs touched up and shaded in B/W style, as that seems to be the standard the Communitydex is moving toward. Also, interesting detail. My sprites tend to look more like odd animals than Pokemon.

I really should look into how B/W sprites are done... I'm still spriting in the GBA style, and feel like I'm falling behind.

Dunno, but you have a way with soft colors. Pink and yellow pastel? Blue with cream stripes? It only looks the way it does because it was based on this:

I just threw it together as an example of... something-or-other, for... what's-his-name. He was a beginner, so it was mostly an example of form. In any case, I didn't put much thought into the shading. If you have the time (and interest) to touch it up and make it look, er, interesting, for the Communitydex, that would be great. :D

tl;dr, I just like to do lineart and want other people to do the hard parts.

I think I meant quarantined now that the word has popped into my head. That does sound like an awesome Christmas. Well if you're lucky like us you can get the "fireplace channel" during the holidays. Which is just a picture of a burning fireplace... Anyways though that sounds like such a relaxing the way Christmas should be spent way to spend Christmas. Speaking of A Christmas Carol and a movie you should watch the George C. Scott version of A Christmas Carol for Christmas if you haven't seen it before. I watched it the other day and I thought it was a pretty good version. Especially with all the other crappy versions to compare it too.

Oh, I thought they were only going there for the holidays. That must of took forever to get the dog (cannot remember the word for the life of me) all checked out and passed. Hahaha I really don't like enjoying time with my family either, but it seems like you really don't like your's. xD People just don't care or pay attention. A school of children could get mowed over and the next day someone would probably still just walk out in the middle like nothing happened. Survival of the fittest!
