  • Yeah they were. I'm just glad my changes worked. I used to get mauled over by steel teams, I made a few specific changes just for that type. Now if only I could do something about poison...

If you ever need help on your team, I would post an RMT in the battle center. I would rate it myself, but I'm not the best at that. I used to do stuff like that on serebii, but that was only because no one there really looked like they knew what they were doing.
We should head on over to the PC battle server and fight!

Yeah, I always attack whenever Aerodactyl is sent out. It's almost guaranteed to use taunt.
We should battle sometime! That would be fun. :D

In NU Jumpluff generally plays a more defensive role, but it can vary. I wonder why though, I mean I use the offensive version and fell in love with it. I might have to make room on my NU team and give it a shot sometime. The one thing I don't get is when people taunt my Tangrowth. I have a very aggressive play style, so Tangrowth is going to attack.
I was like: Let me find out it is swords dance acrobatics. Generally I see them as defensive for some reason. I'm sad that not all Dreamworld Abilities were released :(

Made my steel monotype team :)
My college starts up next monday and I'm a little nervous. My first book arrived today in the mail, so that's good.

Jumpluff and Whimsicott serve two different purposes. Jumpluff can be used as a support pokkemon, like Whimsicott, but I use a sweeper set instead. It's my main defense against bug pokemon and ca OHKO Volcarona, before it gets set up. I would like to use Whimsicott, but I just can't seem to sacrifice a pokemon on my team to make room for it. Jumpluff doesn't seem like it would do much, but here's a battle proving it's lethal.

If only every battle turned out like that!
I didn't like Heart Gold much because of the huge gap between gym leader's pokemon and wild pokemon, which made grinding nearly impossible. To be honest, I got so bored on my first play-through I plugged in my action replay and set it to X1,000 the normal experience. I only did it for wild pokemon battles, as I felt too guilty if I did it against a gym leader.

Colleges are huge scams. Sure the education is nice (and necessary in today's job hunt), but who needs to spend $400 on a text book? I've heard a story where a college professor wrote his own text-book, but it was so poorly written and it was stapled together like an essay. I'm not against professors writing their own textbooks, as it could be beneficial and pertain the class material better, but at least take the time to make it look nice. I'm going to take a block of three writing classes where I needed twelve books. None of them look like text-books, and I think most of my free time is going to be reading books and writing essays now.
Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 is my favorite computer game of all time. I spent hours designing various roller coasters and making parks absolute beasts. If you search "Slayr231" on youtube, you'll see a channel with nothing but roller coaster videos on it. I can't go on youtube anymore since I live out on the country and I have to get internet by a satellite. It works great, except the internet is limited, think of a cell phone data package, but without the unlimited data option.

I tried Serperior in competitive play, but it didn't work out. He could withstand a few hits, but couldn't hit powerfully enough without a boost. I first tried a swords dance set, but pokemon like Yanmega and Gengar both pretty much shut that one down. I then tried a calm mind set, which worked out considerably better, but eventually Jumpluff took its place. If it ever gets contrary, I think Serperior could potentially move up to UU. I don't really care if you don't like Serperior. The only people I don't like are the people who think any generation is the absolute best, and every other generation sucks along with all the pokemon that came with it. Every generation has a fair share of good and bad designs.
My first pokemon game was Black. My first pokemon was Serperior, hence why it is my favorite, but I've gone back to play a few other games like Blue, Ruby, and Heart Gold. I'm excited because with X and Y, this will be my first game release with new pokemon.

I struggle with math. I'm just entering college, and I'm not quite sure what I want to get a degree in. I've narrowed it down to a major in mechanical engineering, or writing. I'm going to have to work my butt off if I want that mechanical engineering degree, but those roller coasters aren't going to design themselves. :P
Most of my friends were into game design, or computers in high school. In fact, one of my friends took second place in a national competition for FBLA. I have photoshop, but that's pretty much it for image editing and the like. Is dragon your favorite type? I'd tell you mine, but after you see one post of mine, you can probably guess it. What's the storyline? Obviously you want to become champion, but is there an evil organization you're trying to stop?

My hobby in high school was music. From writing it, to playing it, it was a big part. I played the trumpet and flugel for jazz, french horn for wind ensemble, and mellophone for marching. A mellophone is a marching french horn, since it's hard enough playing a french horn sitting down, let alone march.
Now I under stand what that's for. That probably shows how much I know about these sort of things. I was really into game design my freshman year in high school, but I just lost interest over time. So what kind of game is it? How far are you on it?

I'm glad you like my new sig. I was racking my brain for ideas last night and I just settled on that. I also decided to change the rest of it, just to make it look better. I say it's an improvement.
Working on a hack or something? I don't work any hacks myself, they seem really complicated and I don't know if I would be able to complete one myself. Times are tough these days. I applied to around thirteen jobs over the summer and I didn't even get an interview. Which sucks because I knew that once I got the interview, I could get the job. I've been told I have a certain charisma that helps with these sort of things that doesn't come through on paper. The image is still in the planning stage. I'm currently trying out various approaches that I can do. I still haven't figured anything out yet. I'm a writer after all, not a drawer. However, I did draw something that I posted on the Art and Design's Art Critique & Showcase thread if you want to check it out.
I'm doing pretty well, trying to work on some stuff, getting ready for college, that sort of thing. I'm also trying to make a little image so I won't have a link text to my fic in my sig. Who knew this art stuff was so hard. D:

Anyway, how are you? Working on any projects?
    I really like the Snivy evo line, especially Servine, since it's my mascot Pokémon.. but I also like Totodile as well and so much more to list that it would be a mile long ;~;
