  • your CSS makes my ROM so adorable now *-* I'm gonna use a slim version for updates as well. it looks awesome
Oh, and I'd love to do a collab. But your strengths lie in the drawing section and mine does in graphics department - what kind of a piece would it be, I wonder? :p

and my college has MoUs with various colleges around the globe. If things go well, I might come to states in my final year. Or maybe do my PG in states. We can meet up, then! :)
A year. A whole year. It all seems so surreal now haha. But it is finally past me. I'm so happy <3333

and I love Dante for that very reason. I pbviously love it due to the fact that he's my absolute fave VG character from my fave game ever, yes, but the name holds special importance because you found it for me :3 I mean, if forced, I'd give up all other alts I have. But not Dante. :)
I'm hoping to revamp my hack thread - sticking with the light pink/white/black theme but... prettying it up ;-;. Looking for some kind of nice background or images to include to push the fairy vibes XD.
Yeah, that's the point. I think my dad said it best, wherein Pokemon (and strategy games in general) is an elaborate game of chess. My dad used to be into a lot of old RPGs and games that demanded a lot of thought and concentration. He never was too fond of Pokemon, but he understands the underlying principles and strategies. So, I took his advice and started playing the game like it was chess. In chess, if you can break the other player's focus, you can mess up their strategy entirely.
That's the main reason why I use it. People see it but they don't expect it to come out second. It's also easy to put another Pokémon at the back of the party to draw out something it can KO right away. I don't use "Weasel Roundabout" as much anymore, but has proven effective in Battle Spot/Random Matchup.
Did I mention Delphox had Magician, Timid nature, and perfect Sp. Attack, Sp. Defense, and Speed IVs? It outpaces Rotom anytime, and is usually only matched by Greninja for speedy Water types. I came up with the Power Herb/Solar Beam combo after someone mentioned it to me in a chat. Likewise, my Noivern utilizes a Switcheroo trap, which is why I gave it Choice Specs. Even if I can't pull off a good trap with it, I can still use the item to boost any one of its attack moves (Air Slash, Dragon Pulse, and Boomburst, the last of which usually kills without a lot of effort). I like using the item switch method because nobody sees it coming. It's great to trap people or take their items for my own use (when possible).

I came up with an interesting strategy using Zoroark and Mienshao in Gen V, which is why I still use them in Gen VI. I call it "Weasel Roundabout." People usually fall for it when I'm trying to bait them into sending out a Ghost or Psychic type. However, once I use Night Daze, I have to swap out or get KO'd. Sometimes I run across someone who isn't paying attention, so I can manage another attack right away. Mienshao is a monster to say the last because I maxed out its Speed with its nature and IV breeding, and Choice Band makes HJK an almost sure OHKO when I can get it to hit.
I have a counter for some sandstorm teams, but it's a matter of dealing with Tyranitar usually when people mention that. If I can KO it, then the team loses its integrity pretty quick. Like I said, I'm still working on my team, and I'm giving serious thought to trying to breed for better IVs for Aegislash and Lapras. Also, you need to be very leery of my Zoroark. It decimates teams without a lot of effort, but I try not to sent it out first unless I'm confident I can use it to mess with my opponent's mind (you would be surprised how often it works out in my favor).
I got it via the GTS. It has Perfect HP, Attack, Sp. Attack, and Sp. Defense IV, as well as maxed out Defense/Sp. Defense EVs. People hate it because it survives most attacks unless you absolutely hammer it with moves like High Jump Kick or Focus Blast, and you need them to be STAB attacks too. I usually try and trap people against it when I see they have a Water type. You probably realized that when I suddenly started swapping between Bessel (my Aegislash) and Lapras whenever you sent out Politoed. I was kind of scared with Politoed because people usually arm it with Perish Song to force switching.
AHAHAHA, yeah. Sorry for all the switching. I figured out a way to make it all into an elaborate trap seeing how many water Pokémon you had. Rotom and Gastrondon are really easy to counter when Lapras has Freeze-Dry, but half the time I utilize Delphox's Solar Beam/Power Herb instead so I can steal the opponent's held item. I was tempted to bait you into sending out Gengar, but I thought it'd be too obvious to send out Zoroark first. Mienshao and Zoroark are usually team killers, and Noivern is a good standby.
Sounds good. I should be on this late-afternoon/evening sometime. I don't generally have a lot going on Sundays. :P
I think mine counts as OU too (not sure, I never really cared about the tiers, though I do know what ones people use a lot), but like I said, I run semi-stall (with a slight mix of player-confusion and offensive strategies). I'll spare you the details, though, since you'll probably understand as soon as you see my team. :P
Hey congratz though! :) I'm about 400 eggs without a shiny now, decided to stay up all night and hatch eggs XD
