...yes, actually. I never owned any vet stuff like that, but I remember the adverts. Did you ever get any Beast Wars figures? I had a HUGE box of them. Never got Transmetal 3 Megatron though; that's my biggest childhood regret, because that figure was amazing. Even happy meal toys have dropped in quality...like the food, aha. I guess it all looked much rosier to us when we were kids, but I can't help but feel quality has gotten worse overall. Guess I'm a stereotypical 90s kid...but at least I had good stuff. xD

...you're making my point for me if you're going to try and pass Hans off as a villain. xD

Regardless, punk is bad. Fantasy is good. I don't like theoretical magic; it can't decide if it wants to have rules or not, and that's just bad writing. Magic should either be Realm of God stuff or Law of Nature stuff. Define it or don't, don't just allude to it! It's fantasy writing 101!
...theoretical magic also leads to crap like Mahouka. xD

I remember tearing the box apart just to get my hands on the things, and pestering my mum to buy more even if we didn't need it, yes. I remember the days when Kinder Surprises had good figures in them, and those awesome chocolate figures you could get with plastic animal models in them. Stuff used to be so damn amazing. I'm so glad I'm not a kid in this day and age. xD

Not systems; account on the one system. Well...I dunno; I've not got a second PS4 so I can't test it. Not about to buy one to try either, aha~

It was awful! It was CGI, a directionless mess, didn't have a villain, had a single good song (the opening one) and just...not...Disney. xD
I didn't think much of it when I first saw it, but I was in that awkward age where I wanted action and not humour. Emperor's New Groove is definitely more of a comedy than anything else <3

Yes, but...icky steampunk setting. The only steampunk game I've ever liked was Resonance of Fate...well, unless you count FFVIII, which I don't. I just find flashy magic shows more impressive than just shooting someone. I'm a drama queen like that. xD

Free stuff is the best kind of stuff! At least, it used to be, when it was of good quality. xD

Ha, they THINK they get to control prices more; you can buy digital copies of games on eBay for a fraction of the price you'd have to pay if you bought it off the online store. My copy of Diablo III on the PS4 cost me £20, and it's a primary account download, meaning I can use it on any account I want on the system as long as its downloaded. Works for me~

What did you think of Frozen? I loathed it personally...there hasn't been a good Disney movie since The Emperor's New Groove. I miss the days of animated movies, aha.
I've never played Valkyria Chronicles...well, I have, but only for a few minutes. I prefer swords and magic to guns and tanks~
the bowser mode scares me. i dont like when he catches up to you, then all the characters run away and get scared. it's scary to me :3

I was spared the agony of a football sticker addiction as a kid, thankfully...I did collect the big head figures that came in cereal boxes around the 96 world cup, though. Got a full set of those as well! xD

Publishers are still pushing for digital, though...probably because it's cheaper than manufacturing discs for retail. And because of the damnable mobile industry.

Anything in particular catching your eye? It's not fun being spoiled for choice...I've not even opened some of the games I've bought yet. Too focused on others, aha. I could use some more DVDs as well for casual watching; I'm rewatching Stargate SG-1 for the fifth or sixth time at the moment out of sheer boredom =P
I just want my Rosalina and Bowser. Possibly Luigi, hell all of the Super Mario ones for sure.

I guess it could be a little less...grim. But then, it could be a lot worse; at least they get a happy ending. xD
Yes...although I haven't thought of them as the sticker book people for a long, looooong time. Not since the original Pokemon stickers! Which I still have somewhere, aha.
People say digital gaming is the future, though...I hope to whatever deity will listen that they're wrong; I'm not really interested in paying for a license rather than a product.
There are too many games out right now that look marginally appealing; I really need to start being more selective in my choices, aha. Although April will be a quiet month, there's only Axiom Verge and Xenoblade 3D coming out~
I used Peach on Mario Kart 8 a lot and she is my lv 50 Smash Amiibo so there is some greatness there. =3

Yeah, it does seem to skip over a lot of what was unnecessarily drawn out in the first anime, although it lacks the humour of the original...which isn't bad, but it is depressing sometimes, aha. No Fullmetal vs. Flame this time around though ;_:
Marvel UK doesn't even exist anymore I don't think; it's all published by Panini Comics these days.
"Non savvy" indeed...that's a novel way of putting it, aha. In a lot of ways you aren't paying for ownership with digital games as much as you are a license...after all, you either get limited downloads for a number of consoles, or unlimited downloads for one console. Not really ownership, which sucks...although between that and nothing, I'll take it, especially with PS Vita titles.
I can understand that initially, but paying full RRP for a game over a year old? They could at least drop the price after a while.
That's a point...SMT IV is now £8.99 on the eShop; I was going to buy it. I'd better not though. xD

Well, life is too short to be miserable all the time...but then, blind optimism doesn't really get you anywhere. Best to take the happy (ha!) medium. xD

Brotherhood picks up a lot quicker and goes off on a completely different direction, but apparently it has pacing issues...but I never read the manga, so I couldn't say. I was quite happy with it overall. Make sure you watch the outtakes at the end. xD
Sequel movies these days are rarely as good as the original, though...it feels like they ran out of ideas half the time. Or it's just totally unnecessary. MU doesn't have that feeling, since it's a prequel, but it could be better.
They get all the latest stuff from America, is why...our comics are about a year behind in some quarters, although on the plus side our comics are cheaper and combine multiple issues of American comics, which are typically only 25 pages or so. I'd love to go into a store again...the one in London had a lifesize replica of Judge Gabranth's helmet when I went there last. I wanted it something awful. xD
True; they've got to make back the costs they incur as a result of doing physical business somehow...I'm just amazed they make money at all with those prices. It's the same with the PSN - they charge full RRP for digital games, which is outrageous and ridiculous. I wouldn't want GAME to go pure digital, though; once games start being sold digitally online, you can be sure physical copies would die out...and harddrive space isn't anywhere near enough to allow for buying masses of digital games.

Pessimists are usually proved right, but the optimist has the better time on the trip...but if you're an ends justifies the means person, the trip doesn't matter; only the end result. Priorities. xD

Haha, I know how that feels...I've been meaning to watch Yes Precure 5 for about three years now. It might happen this year, but I doubt it somehow. xD

Yay Brotherhood box set! Let me know what you make of it~
I actually went to the cinema to see Monsters University...it's a good film, although I can't say I much cared for the ending; it felt a tad off. Great prequel, though.
Hey, at least you've got a Forbidden Planet! The closest one to me is in London...I'd love to go there again. Lack of DVDs sucks, but I'd be going for the Marvel comics and merchandise. Waterstones has all the manga I'd need if I bought the stuff. xD
Since the whole administration fiasco, GAME have gone noticeably downhill on the high street. I do about 95% of my shopping for games on their online store (I just got Toukiden: Kiwami for free from them thanks to accumulated reward card points! xD) but in-store the selection is poor and the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I picked up Type-0 HD for £33 on Amazon, and on the GAME site it's £45. In store? £55. Freakin' maniacs.

I guess it can do, depending on your personal philosophical outlook. As a nihilist and a cynic, I don't find myself affected by things too often...even if I do constantly think about them. xD

Not as good as you remember it to be? I find everything after Etemon to be better than I remember it being as a kid...probably because I appreciate the dialogue so much more. xD
Well, the trip should be fun, but good luck finding anything at an affordable price! High street prices for anime are horrifying, and in HMV at least it's usually about 90% Naruto and Bleach. Always worth a look, though!
    P
It could be better, but it could always be worse! At least, this is what we tell ourselves to make it bearable...as depressing as that may sound, it only is if you think about it. xD
Discovered anything new recently in terms of anime/games/whatever else? I seem to be hopping from one thing to the next at the moment, aha~
    P
Hey. I'm not so bad, all things considered...got plenty of complaints, but that's life right? How have you been? :3
