Yeah, I've been wondering what your avatar was, about 2 days ago I realized it might be a Giratina, Dialga, and Palkia fusion. You're quite a skilled spriter(unlike me, I produce rubbish)...
Sometimes people misspell my name, they leave out the "h" which makes it crunch.
One person even called me "church".
When I first joined PC, I picked a random word for my name, and it was crunch.
however, that name was already taken, so I added a "h".
So, yeah, my name was a random choice too.

I finally learned how to spell your name.

O man, classical music is so good! It's like where everything originates from:). Most of my favorite metal songs have lots of classical influence. Most people are to critical of it though:C Damn youngsters need to respect the classical! it's great "chill out" music imo. If you can manage to blend Gag gag and classical, I will be most impressed:D

Haha, really? I thought it was unreal. It was basically a six-year-old's imagination, but it still looked awesome. All of the buildings were cool. :3 The pink castle was one of the coolest things I've seen in my life. It was so much better than the historical stuff. xD Yep, the rides were awesome. Yeah, I thought Space Mountain went really quickly too. It was great though. The second time, it was even better. I remember it a lot better anyway. :3 Pirates of the Caribbean was so much cooler than I expected. My friend got soaked, lol. I was at the edge, but I pushed in when it picked up speed. xD

Thankfully, my ear's finally back to normal. :D It was unbelievably irritating. Oh man, yeah, toothaches are horrible too. I didn't think it could get infected from not popping either. I was told that I probably infected it myself, lol. I kept going at it and trying a load of stuff to make it pop. That was pretty stupid of me, but yeah. xP

Haha, that sounds hilarious. xD I love paranoid people. There's twins in my year and it was they're first time flying so we threw coins in they're hoods so they'd go off in the security things. They were both panicking at everything. It was a little mean, but it was hilarious. xD

Haha, nice one. Ye sound like ye had a load of fun. We didn't get to do anything like that. Our room was the one that everyone went into. At one stage we had about 25 people squashed into it. Nobody could move. xD Our school's all lads as well, which made it less fun. D: The only girls in the whole hotel were in sixth class, so yeah, we didn't go there. xP

I'm just going to assume that I shouldn't have another fire, water or grass type. :P I'll give you an idea so you can choose which would fit the best. If you'd prefer me to be more specific with the three, you can just say. :) I've always liked Arbok, Scizor, Ampharos, Weavile, Mawile and Banette.

Yeah, I probably will hack Emerald somertime, since FR is super-overused.
The problem is, I can't insert tiles, and I don't think there are any rombase's for emerald.:(
And, yeah, I take care of some maps for Trebornosliw, though at the moment i've only mapped one map for Treb.
I think graphics are a major part of a hack, as you see them every second you're playing a game.
So, yeah, it's good to make them look nice:)

Maybe I'll try messing around with Emerald sometime, though I've already decided on Firered for my next hack, out of necessity. Of course, I'm planning a bit far ahead :P
As for Hidden Ties flashing, I was thinking that there would still be a black silhouette while the letters weren't flashing. I may have the wrong understanding, but I believe that the way flashing works is it displays two different pictures in succession, right? So would it be possible to overlay the embedded letters with black silhouette, hiding them, and the embedded silhouettes with the flashing letters? Not sure if I really explained that well...
Yeah, I'll definitely look into editing Constrict, once I've finished off the scripting.

As for the quote, don't mention it. I like Anselection well enough (did some scripting for him on his hack), but I know that I personally hate it when people I disagree with assume I'm on their side. And you are a good hacker, so you deserved the compliment.
Yeah, I'm not too big on graphic gore, but I see what you mean. It wouldn't really work though, because if you noticed in the hack, there was no trace of a body. I may make that significant later on, and until I know if and how I'll do so, I'll just leave out blood just in case I regret it later.
I wasn't sure if the fade in/out would be possible, I've never really attempted intro screen editing (though I think I might have a shot at tile editing... more on that later). In that case, it would probably be best to just have solid letters, with no flashing or fading.
You know, maybe I'll look at Emerald for my next hack, seems like it's got a lot of room for modification. That's cool that you'll have secondary trees though, I just have a thing for eye candy ;)
I just looked at a tile editing tutorial, and it looks way easier than I'd thought, so I might try inventing and inserting a few tiles to a guinea pig rom, and maybe change some for HT later. I've also hijacked and edited the tiles from Erika's gym, so now I've got some cool little bush-trees and an extra flower tile.
Oh wait, I just had a random but potentially awesome thought. For the intro screen, what if every other letter flashed at once, so it would look like H D E T E, then I D N I S. Would that look excessively wierd?
I'm planning on giving Tentakill Crunch, just because he's actually got a mouth. I'm also giving serious consideration to upgrading Constrict (the most pointless move in the game... even fails to Splash, because at least Splash is funny...). As for stats, I'm thinking probably an upgraded version of Tentacruel (duh), so a special wall primarily, with good speed and upgraded Sp.Atk.

Yeah, Tentakill would be great, if Pokeyomama doesn't mind. I've already got some ideas for the stats and moveset additions (though if you or PYM has any preferences in that regard, let me know).

Regarding the title screen, no need for blood (this is, after all, a Pokemon game, lol), but I think just the braille on a rock wall would actually look pretty cool, with the game title overhead. Actually, instead of the traditional style for the actual title, would it be possible to have shadowed letters, with the "Hidden Ties" script fading in and out from black to light blue (with the normal Pokemon logo overhead)? Or am I making things needlessly complicated?
Yeah, I really love what you did with the trees in that tileset, they look fantastic. Just a suggestion, but I really enjoy playing hacks that have more than one type of tree in the tileset. Just a thought, but it's cool to have two different styles of tree just to add eye candy, in addition to the skinny trees.
Ideas are free, lol, especially since you really inspired that one (if by accident), and that would be really cool.
Ah, so this is an Emerald hack, I suppose that makes sense, if you wanted to use Deoxys Spd. I can do some scripting for you if you need it (though I don't know... testing my hack may have turned you off to my scripting, lol). And by now you've probably already seen my response to your PM.
Btw, I'm editing my earlier VM to take out that Fakemon name, I'm going to see if anyone will actually decipher the braille hint in-game.

I was pretty much thinking of just inserting him for the heck of it, and I think you're right; there's just no point... though I'd love to insert Tentakill if you think that's feasible (lol, out of the blue, but I really love the concept).
I'm plodding along with the beta, just got done with some mapping today. I still need to insert a ton of scripts, and I haven't yet decided where I want to end this release... Once it's ready, I'll send you the patch.
Regarding hex editors, Hex Workshop is supposed to be pretty good (I'm not too experience with hex editing, but I've messed around with it somewhat). If you can tell me exactly what, where, and how to edit, I can go in and try myself. I'd learn something too :)
An intro screen would be fantastic. I'd like to have the fakemon's name written across the background in Braille (if you need to know what that'll look like, it's actually in the next patch), but other than that I'm stumped. You have more experience than me in this sort of thing, what do you think?
Oh, and I'm intrigued by that Infinity screenshot in your sig (nice tiles, btw). It looks like the waterfall is hitting the pond a tile beyond the rock wall, I don't suppose there's something back there? If there's anything I can do to help you with your project, just let me know; I owe you one ;)

Pretty much. But in HG/SS, you fight a single grunt some time after the Elite Four. In Platinum, you fight 2 admins some time after the Elite Four. So in ShadowAmethyst, you'll fight a single grunt somewhere, and in my planned minor Emerald hack, you'll fight the Admins (NOT THE LEADERS) of Team Aqua & Magma some time after the Elite Four.

Well, Sevii Islands will be in the game. They'll generally look the same as FR/LG, but a lot less "square" looking, and more "Hoenn" looking. The wild Pokemon will be the same, the trainers will be mostly the same. Also, you won't be able to access any of them until after the Elite Four, and you won't be dealing with Team Rocket. But I'll probably include some side-quests to keep us occupied.

I have absolutely no idea why pipz are amazed by that game/hack/mod. :\

Lol, that sounds like something I'd do. xD I'm always at the chipper. I always get large everything as well, and eat the rest of everyone elses food after, lol. I had to go straight home afterwards because my mam was late for work. I just went home and ate twelve waffles, lol. We had absolutely nothing to eat. I swear nobody buys food unless I complain its gone. My sister made me pancakes then because I got her stuff in Disneyland. xD I got along with everyone in my family for one day which was awesome. :3

Aww, sure twenty minutes is a long time. I'd actually be surprised if I finished an English exam. I've only ever done it once and it wasn't in the Junior Cert. I'm sure your story will still go pretty well. If you're a good writer, they'll see it even if you don't have a proper ending. At least everything else went well. :)

Ooh, I'd hate the Design exam. I'm a language person though so I'd find German alright. I get high Bs and low As without doing work for most languages. Well, that was for the Junior Cert and in TY. The Leaving Cert's probably a hell of a lot worse. I'd say I'd be okay though. I actually found a difference between us! You're good at short stories and I'm not. Mine are always terrible. I always manage to include a haunted house. xD You can't get much more pathetic than that. My endings never make sense either and I always have too many characters. xD Anyway, that's the way to go. Save the worrying the Leaving Cert.

Nope, no ear drops, lol. I had them before and hated them. They stung like hell. :P I'm on some weird antibiotic thing. I don't know what it is, but something's working because I ears are slowly getting better. Yeah, it's painful at times. Sometimes it kicks in and sometimes I wouldn't even notice. It was killing me last night and I didn't have a clue what to do. It died down after a while though. The worse was Sunday night. I got no sleep all night. It hasn't been so bad really since that. It's really annoying when my ears keep popping, but they don't go normal ever. They get a bit better, then worse. It's not annoying me too much now though.
