I feel it's mainly to help sell the Duel Links/Speed Duel format with only 3 zones, also from looking at it it might be a step backwards where there are no Link monsters in sight, nor Pendulums.

with how Duel Links is going, a lot of people WANT you to destroy their traps & spells.

there are far better alternative backrows in that format

the huge downside of such a small field

so many cards become useless and unplayable

you literally cannot pull Quasar unless theres cards that lets you synchro in the graveyard like with Miracle Fusion, Overload Fusion or Cybernetic Fusion Support. Board is too small for Quasar.

Shooting Star and Red Nova Dragon are possible

Though it'd be interesting to see how XYZ will develop on such a small field

TBH Duel Links doesn't have XYZ yet so that might betray certain decks who cant even use the extra deck yet in DL

yeah it's pretty interesting... when i looked up sample deck I saw the extra deck and was like "hold on how do they rummon rank 10's without level 10 monste- OH TOKENS"

when Dracossack is up you can detach 1 OU to spawn 2 LV3 tokens, if you happen to have 2 MPB's out their level increases by 6 which makes them both lv 10 (considering most MPB's are LV4). 2 LV 10's into Gustav MAX for 2k burn then freelo into LIEBE

its a rank 11 train for OTK's and it's quite ridiculous, that, its effect, the 2k burn from Gustav Max and maybe LIMITER REMOVAL and opponent is about as dead as when he faces a Power Bonded Cyber End :>
