To be honest, I already started making a hack, but then I had to do movement permissions for the map and gave up. :/

Too bad A-map doesn't automatically do it for you, like you should be able to assign the particular blocks movement permissions. That way whenever you use a specific tile on a map, A-map automatically sets permission for that part of the map. Would be genius amirite?

Hey there. I was stalking your conversation (sorry, habit) with another user and something caught my interest. You mentioned something along the likes of ASM not being a difficult coding language at all. And, pardon me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming it is the language that is predominantly used for ROM Hacking, yes? And the rest of the stuff about it having a strict syntax with very few commands is also damn encouraging lol. I honestly did't think I'd say this again but I think I'll try diving into the world of ROM Hacking, after all. I've always wanted to be a storyteller and am aiming for a career in video game development anyway haha. Do not really know much apart from very basic level C++ (most I could do was make an XO game) but I'm looking forward to learning new languages. :p

Sorry, just went on rambling. Just wanted to say your words were pretty damn encouraging to someone who has never tried getting into the scene.
