  • It's not a terrible idea, but I have potentially a better one, based on my knowledge of the saved RAM and repoints I've performed.

The problem I have with this forme, and why I'm not allowing it to be in the patch, is that no matter what we do, you can only have a limited number of Kyurem which take advantage of it.
0x2yy  gets the highest leveled pokémon in the party and sets all trainers pokémon/wild pokémon levels to that value plus yy.

Additionally, yy can be zero as well, however I think it will be good to make it 4 or 3...

The reason I'm saying the highest is because of two reasons
    a) Usually if you balance out the levels in your party, almost all the Pokémon will be of the same level, so no problem arises there
    b) Sometimes people might be intent on training ONE Pokémon and that alone and take the rest as HM Slaves or placeholders for Revives, etc. so average wont work up here. Neither will minimum.

Also, if it was equal to or lower then the game gets easy no matter what so, yeah.
This IS keeping in mind that the method can be switched using ASM, like at times we would want to change them to a specific level temporarily.

And about the Pokémon gettable thing, I'll give you a little tip:

You just take random Pokémon as you progress if you feel they are fit for the game / are used explicitly somewhere (eg - gyms). After getting a reasonable amount, compile the Regional Dex (I believe Jambo found out how to fix the various bugs of the Pokédex, including the evolution and half-word filter).
Then, as you go along the post-game (when everything is DERPIZARD), just put up again what you feel fits in for gym rebattles/post-elite four wild Pokémon/post-elite four trainer modifications/ post-story maps.
Then, with the various Pokémon remaining, stuff them into the game into the less important maps and also as random events (for eg - "Here have an egg, take it." or "Aw, [player], look at this lost Pokémon will you take care of it?" etc.)
Also keeping in mind that the nighttime Pokémon are scheduled, it will be fairly easier to do the "stuffing in the maps" part.
    -------------EDIT------------------
So what will you do about the eyepatch?
    Aw, cool askfjafaskgldghsujgkshdbgkajskgaskfjalsgkjfhalghslakghaslkg
Can you make it like different people can be interacted with in different times of the day?
    Also, NIGHTTIME POKéMON PLZ
maybe you can hack into the original evolve by day/night routine and make eevee evolve normally
Yep, I'm spouting random features out and making your life a hell. Totally.

No I meant the hero of the game has a minor difference in the left and right frames, an eyepatch. I wonder if you've taken care of that...?
Still has the same problem. Open it up in plain old MS paint and use the bucket tool on Mudkip's backsprite and you'll see what I mean.
The one you posted in the thread. When I try and color a shade of the backsprite, it only colors 1 pixel, which leads me to infer that it was as jpg or gif or something. Either that, or you used a bad source for the original sprite, such as Bulbapedia.
Alright. Also did you save the Mudkip sprites in a different file format or something? The way the colors are distributed are really strange, and I can't recolor it. (not trying to sound like a dick, your contributions are much appreciated)
So I just noticed on your Marshtomp front sprite that you changed a lot of the black outlines to color outlines. For future reference, I would prefer if you not do this because it doesn't necessarily make the sprite look better in my opinion, and it gives me more work to do because then I have to change it back.
    aww nice one!
ps - have you implemented both left and right side OW frames or something?

and doing calculus is... out of my book for the time being XD

walking with pokemon as in... the whole game?
Oh, I see. I usually do all the work in MS Paint. As soon as I get iPad drawing facilities, I'll become boss.

    Cool, no?
I'll make a message later about this I'm on lagging iPad
Chaos rush sprites fine with me
And yes 25 slots should be enough DONT FORGET TO REPLACE THEIR CRIES!
They all have Unown's cry… weird, right?
Anyway Chaos Rush's sprites allow for more detail like the
    FR Bulbasaur's legs isn't properly made…
i think my long message is conveyed already lol
Haha yeah. You see, before it just got annoying for me to keep track of every non-Unova contribution someone made, and people would pester me like "hey didz u seez my sprites" when I'm trying to get the Unova sprites done lol. Now that the Unova sprites are actually almost done (arguably the hardest sprites to do since all 156 Unova Pokemon required custom backsprites), its not so much of a problem for me to keep track of contributions anymore. And this will also let the project be finished faster :)
    (but with quality still assured!)
