I guess. Most I can do is suggest that we moderators try to stay classy in our representation of the forums, even if we want to tear someone a new one deep inside.

I just started getting back into Digimon :D I finished watched the first series last week, I need to find the next series. Which series is Xros wars?

I haven't really seen a case where they've acted catty to any new members unless the new members were being catty and disrespectful or otherwise totally spazzing out themselves and making assumptions that they're entitled to stuff and acting like staff here should only ever be doing stuff on this site and not have a life outside this site. That or if someone was a known troll or ban-evader from the get-go based on their IP or the content of their posts.

It was great; I meet some really nice people and got to know those whom I'm giving the food towards~

Some staff act catty toward members because they get sick of the same crap over and over again from members who disrespect the rules or didn't read the rules in the first place. They probably shouldn't let it get to them, but there are certain members who have been intensely dense on this stuff and have been frustrating even just watching their missteps from a distance (probably because said members are basically all but confirmed to actually be in the special needs group of people, a couple even having used it as an "excuse" for their behavior, which for the most part does not fly offline and shouldn't be allowed to fly in a PG/PG-13 forum, either).

Certainly doesn't feel that way as I haven't had a chance to do terribly much for the section, other than maintain its activity level to a more consistent level than before. Oh, and I guess clean up some of the stickies.

I suppose it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation in that case regarding certain members' attitudes toward you.

Being pissy generally only makes the person you're pissy at dislike you and not want to respond civilly. First thing I learned in my college ethics class was that being this way in a debate or in anything for that matter would instantly make the person disregard everything you're saying. You may want to take that into consideration and remember to word your sentences more carefully next time you want to tear into one of our moderator's heads (I might be exaggerating just a tiny bit there) for something very minor in the scheme of things.
