  • I feel like if you were to brighten the palette for the lines on the Pokecenter just a TINY bit, it'd be fine.

    Everything else looks great. :3
Aren't the time zones super different there? Are you staying up at, like, 4 AM South African time just to stalk me...? o__o
Hmm, well I guess I'm not a spriter/graphics artist so I dunno, they don't seem to clash to me, anyway.
A little bit brighter still, I'd say. And while you're at it, see the outline-colour of the PokéCenter, PokéMart and Gym tiles? Make that a bit darker, to make it stand out more. That way, it's more similar to the house tiles and well tiles you've used, so it's more consistent (ie. not-clashing).

If you're mixing tiles made by different people/based on different games, you'll need to do a bit of editing yourself. For the most part the tiles you've selected at least look proportionate to one another (by Pokémon standards), it's just things like outlines and stuff you'd need to worry about: that's my stance on the matter!
You didn't ask me, but I don't think the tiles in your Azalea Town map clash. The only thing that's 'off' about it is the PokéCenter tiles: they're coloured a bit blandly, and it kinda looks like the roof is one big blur of red/orange. If you make the orange lines on the PokéCenter roof a TINY bit brighter (not too much) I think it'd look better.

I've noticed you asked quite a few people for feedback: that's good, but remember that it's your hack too, so if you're absolutely happy with something then go for it. Unless people are blatantly petitioning for you to change something, you know? :P
I've created a program which automatically makes 16 color PNGs to GBA colors ;P
I save 1 day in general cause of this toolie :3
The Tiles are ok but you obviously dont know how to make blocks correctly and make the best out of 16 colours ( the PC for example :P)
Hmmm, i have never seen a problem like this. Before you start over, try one more thing: get a copy of Sapphire and try to change something. There is no chance you'll mix that up and if it doesn't change also, then the issue is A-map, not you.
I have a funny story about this. Tell me, when you open VBA, are you 100% sure that it is the same rom? I have done it before where I thought I was opening the same rom, but it was a rom in a different folder with the same name.

You're not getting any error messages, right?
Den you gotta change the pointer to the ts (lol, idk where that is) or find out where the 256 color ts is (lol, idk where dat is either) and then replace it with your 256 color ts (use nse classic for that) and then change the colors in APE (they'll be the same as the tut)
