Pi is equally as important as Tau, actually. People tend to fight between Pi and Tau, though if the idea of Pi hasn't been invented, the idea of Tau wouldn't be invented either.

Well, yea there is... And it sounds much nicer than Pi! But, music-wise. You know, when you transpose the digits of Pi into musical notes. Tau's musical notes sound better in my opinion. They are more fluid.
