I get kinda sad looking at other people's maps. Because I haven't fiddled in RMXP in so long, I lose sight of how much time and practise I actually have with mapping; that alters my view of "newbies" because I mistake myself as a "newbie" because of the gap between this project and my last one lol so I tend to judge actual "newbie" maps a bit harsher, since subconsciously I figure newbie "newbies" and "newbie" me are on-par with one another, when we're really not lol They have maybe a dozen hours experience, if that, with the program, while I have spent over 150h in the last couple years on uncompleted projects (generally due to data corruption or forgetting to transfer the right files over before reformatting my PC).

Empty maps are icky, though. RMXP teaches you that clutter is good lol

Yeah :( He gets depressed. I try to stop and watch a movie, though. I just love doing this kind of thing! I write novels, so this is like a big novel for me lol only it's interactive, which I think is even better *.*
And thanks for the compliment. It might be because of all the practice I had with non-PKMN RMXP and RPGVXAce games. So many lost hours...

Not really skilled. I know my way around RMXP, but I can't sprite or anything lol XD
Also, I should probably not work on it as much. I ignore my boyfriend (lives with me) for hours on end because of it.

Yeah. I already have a few quest events that sidetrack the player from gyms and the likes. There's an inkling of an idea of what the "bad guys" are up to without going into too much detail, too. Kind of a cliffhanger episode.

wow looks like a beautiful place! sorry for disappearing last night i kinda fell asleep. I am 22, and you ? ^^ I love the ocean, although I've only seen the Atlantic Ocean once when I went to Florida, it is very beautiful and calming! I do live near a Great Lake though. Water is really calming
