  • Yeah, a lot of the A-Rank Bracers can probably spot Enforcers out in a crowd. Pretty amusing.

September 2017 (by no means confirmed, just taking a guess if we're to go by Falcom's release patterns) ;___; It definitely does, it's one of the many ties between the Crossbell arc and Erebonia. That being said, I hope we get to spend a sizable amount in time in Crossbell for CS III. Would be cool to see the cast and exploring the city in 3D.

    I hope so too.

I'm not going to lie. Rufus being an Iron Blood really threw me off, haha. Altina, I had heavy suspicions about, but Rook of Jade over here, was a literal curveball.

Cassius is literally Jesus. I swear he's going to get a fatal wound at some point, but just shrug it off, because he's Cassius Motherfucking Bright.

FC is the shortest game in the series to date. The average for it is around 50+ hours, every game starting with SC, hovers around the 60 - 80 hour mark. Surprisingly enough, CS and CS II have actually less text than FC despite this. Do you have an idea where you might have missed a chest? I know for my first playthrough, the one chest I missed was sneakily hidden in Sachsen Iron Mines. If you're going to try for the Bond trophies, you might as well go for the Nightmare run and nab the last few character notes while you're at it.
Sharon is my absolute favourite. What's more badass than a ninja-maid, haha? Oh, Dubarry is a close second too, but she's technically not Ouroboros.

That's a plausible theory that I've seen a couple people proposed. It definitely has a lot of footing, and probably is one of the driving factors to why he's alive. But, the majority tend to believe that Osborne did some supernatural stuff, since he was striding with confidence after revealing that he was still alive. Plus, being Rean's dad must mean that he knows about the demon power of Rean's, so being in contact supernatural stuff should be second nature to him.

I'm just curious where the Church's priorities lies. The Dominion's interests typically align with our protagonists, yet they have to a different agenda. I don't think Aidios is in contact with the Church though; from what we know of them, the factions within the organization seem to be all doing their own thing, with praying to Aidios just being something they all have in common. If Aidios does have a control over the Church, the Dominion have to be a separate from her; since they're actively trying to go against Ouroboros.

Yeah, Ouroboros without a doubt, thought Osborne would be the perfect 'tool' to do their dirty work and helped clear the way for future plans, which they would then promptly reap the rewards. Of course, that bit them right in the ass, lmao. Yeah, there seems to be an one Sept-Terion per element; I'm curious on how the series is going to progress though. Cold Steel II is officially 60% of the main story, and we've only physically seen two Sept-Terion and have knowledge of two more, that's still three unaccounted for.

It would be cool of Olivert to come parading around with secret knowledge, lol. I'm curious if the final game in the series will take characters from each arc's playable cast to form a literal SUPER TEAM.

Osborne must be extremely bitter about Cassius. Not only did he foil his plans in the Hundred Days War, he ruined them again in the Liber-Ark situation, lmao.
He just wanted to rule Liberl :(

It's usual Campanella shenanigans, lol. I would like to think of him breaking the fourth-wall. Fits more with his whimsical nature.

I mean, no one really expected Osborne to be alive and kicking after taking a bullet to the chest. Well, Vita mentions Ouroboros suspecting that 'death' wouldn't stop Osborne from clawing his way back. He's indeed pressuring Rean hard, to work with him. Sucks that Rean doesn't really have much choice, since, he's still incredibly curious what's going on with his chest and familial background. And, don't forget the Church, they're definitely up to something! We know of two Dominions operating within Erebonia, and I believe, Kevin and Ries never went back to Alteria after they finished up in Crossbell. So, possibly three Dominion joining in on the fray.

I've heard people mentioned Calvard might having Earth, no idea where the source for that came from though. Crossbell's Sept-Terion, is actually Mirage, which fills in the Phantasmal part of Phantasmal Blaze, the Azure Demiourgos just had the added effect of being able to control Time and Space as well. Actually, Erebonia has two Sept=Terion in their borders, one is presumably Fire because of Phantasmal Blaze, and the other might be Time or Water; depending on how you would interpret some of the hints dropped. It's highly implied that the second Sept-Terion was gained through Osborne's little annexation spree he did, so, it might mean that he's in possession of it.

I want to say that the series doesn't really acknowledge the Star Doors being 'seen' by any of the characters. Of course, there never was a point of time where the that knowledge might come into play, yet. To be honest, Joshua and Estella deserve at least S-rank, lol. That shit was a national crisis, and they solved it almost perfectly... Only for Cassius to come swooping through with Ragnard like a badass, lol.

Definitely. And, with a name like the Blood and Iron Chancellor. Osborne capitalized on that opportunity big time.
    Spoiler:
Ideally, that's the best team if we're weighing in all of the positives, lol. The last game you can actually do Phys/Mixed/Artes/Healer is Zero. Ao's endgame set-up is Tank/Arts/Arts/Support, haha.
I'm pretty sure that's why they changed the quartz system lol. It would have been more of a hassle with the old system, due to all of the constant character switching. The woes of having eleven playable characters, lol.

To be honest, though. I don't like the new system. Like you said, if favours being physical, since you can just slap Domination + Attack 3 + Chrono Burst + etc, and call it a day. Arts users get screwed because their arts list are usually front-loaded with the stronger spells and no weaker spells; plus, they lose stat bonuses most of the time, unless you equip all of the SR quartz on them. And, I predict Falcom will be keeping this system once more for Cold Steel III, which is eh. All in all, I don't like ARCUS, lol. Give me back Enigma II.

Hopefully, when we reach the Calvard arc, we'll be using an Orbment model with the old system.
Oh, you just got to Chapter 5, lol. I thought you were in the middle of it.
Chapter 5! It's my personal favourite segment for all of Cold Steel, haha. How's your first impression of 'Toby'?
I wouldn't worry too much about fishing. Trista has all the fishes, it's possible to play catch-up whenever you get a chance on a free day - provided you have the groundbait for it, of course. Just try not to skip anymore lol. The Mishy Dolls, Animal Straps, and Crimson Moon books are the only thing you really need to keep a keen eye out for.

Well, technically, you are halfway through at 4/7 chapters. Warm Vita, lol? Thankfully, there's nothing else that's more intensive than the Highlands later on.
Very steady progress. Four is when the chapters start getting much longer. So, buckle in, lol. Oh, speaking of which. How is the frame rate for the Nord Highlands on the Vita? On the PS3, it can get slow at odd times.
How far are you, lol? Bleublanc is obvious, Sharon gets hinted at a lot, but Misty is pretty much transparent until a certain scene just a bit after the mid-game. But, it's just those three that have a keen interest in Class VII, and they have understandable reasons to do so. Well, half of Bleublanc's reason is understandable, the other half is the whole beauty thing lol.
Been okay. Been busy offline mostly, a looot of weird work hours.

How've you been? Why no memories of this place? Have you been busy on other sites, or offline?
Well, those fancy little toys are just loans from Ouroboros though, so Crossbell wasn't super prepared for everything. Unfortunately, that certain someone, wasn't our beloved "hunter of love", lol; it's a Crossbell character with a little bit more oomph to them.

I'm at least glad the game acknowledges it. I mean, getting Rank A is no slouch (it would also technically mean you just made Estelle the youngest A-rank Bracer to date, but alas, it's not canon). The fact that the margin of error is a mere two BP is ridiculous. I do agree that seeing Estelle in a "grown up" demeanor was fun. Almost invokes a little bit of pride towards the lovable tomboy.
Let's not destroy Crossbell now, lol. Osborne might be a prick, but there are a couple of cool cats that should be spared. You're right though, if the railguns fired, it would essentially be a repeat of history amped up to ludicrous heights. Calvard would be beyond pissed, Remiferia and Liberl might be prompted to do something. All in all, it'd end badly for Erebonia. But luckily, this is hypothetical situation where that can't be a reality, since a "certain" someone would prevent it from happening.

Thankfully, A0 is substantially easier to obtain than Rank A was in SC. It's not a joke by any means, but you get a little more breathing room. Per the Kiseki tradition, talking to everyone is always a good idea (especially when you're at the academy, there is a lot of missable stuff here), since there are hidden sidequests unlocked by just approaching NPCs. Areas tend to be smaller in Cold Steel, so this is a lot more feasible to do than SC. You'll need 430 AP out of 440 AP to get A0, iirc.

But here's some help anyways, lol.

Friendly advice. BUY THE MISHY DOLL IN CHAPTER 1 IN CELDIC.
