  • Might be a while before any new "side" locations though since there's still loads of Sumeru left for us to be released in the near future.
Hard to say. Some stuff is bound to be background lore but there's so much worldbuilding and lore present that they could do just about anything.
Fontaine will be north of Liyue I expect given its ties to Qingce via the Oceanid.

It'll be a domain of some sort. No idea if it will be story relevant or just a neat lore thing.

Maybe? I think we'll probably hear a bit more about it once we've been in Sumeru a while and Fontaine draws nearer.
Right now the only desert we know about is the one in Sumeru and Mare Jivari is meant to be at the edge of the continent... but that doesn't line up with it being in Mondstadt. The wiki actually describes it as a domain though! So it's probably not actually a very big part of the map at all.
I feel that. My computer situation is pretty good now but I've had bad experiences in the past.

That's the wind place that people typically don't come back from right?
I mean, that makes a lot of sense. Nobody wants to see their friends or family hurting themselves.
I don't think they're immortal in the "cannot be killed" sense. I think they're immortal in the "can't die under most circumstances" variety. But the only official death so far has been Signora yeah.

For how any of that translates into your story, what you're saying makes sense to me.
Either way, it's a damn good ability to have. Although not strictly needed either given how easy it is to revive a downed character anyway.

Something like that. You see some enemies fleeing like Treasure Hoarders or Eremites. Some enemies do fade into nothingness upon defeat though.

Of course. Combat is violent even if a game does tone down how viscerally.
I think a few of the healers have effects like that. Qiqi does too. But yeah, I've never really thought of it as raising the dead.
I mean, healing seems to generally be a pretty minimal amount of help so that checks out. They clearly can't cure diseases and the like, Sumeru proves that.
