    Which of the games on it was your favourite? Dodgy controls aside, I'm actually really fond of Sonic 3D...it came out 2 days before my 7th birthday, haha. Plus the music is pretty great. Although there is this one jump in Rusty Ruins Zone that makes me rage something awful even now. xD;

    Not many people think it's bad, although I think people are starting to look at it in a bit more of a balanced fashion now that the 10/10 hype has died down a bit. At least, I hope that's the case. But yeah, don't let that stop you enjoying it when you do get it :3

    I'll think about it, haha. I'm having a lot of difficulty concentrating on anime right now; I keep finding other things to do when I'd normally watch it. My anime backlog is pretty steep, too...

    I like squishy ones that give more yield...hurts my hand to squeeze ones that don't have much give to them.

    I used to have about 30, but I've sold most of them over the years, haha. I had a Megadrive and an N64 before it, but I think the Gamecube was my introduction to console gaming proper. It didn't do as well as it might have due to the competition, but it was still a fantastic console <3

    You said it would be best to not mix it up, so I just changed a later. It sounds nice imo!

    What does sumire mean, again?
    Yeah, I was pretty mad when I saw how much Spyro looks like a Goblin now :c I replay the first 3 and A Hero's Tail once in a while, each time I'm amazed at its genius designs *-*

    I think it generally is better to play on the original system, yeah...or at least with a controller. I'm kinda anti-PC like that, despite having so many Steam games. Keyboard is for typing, controller is for playing, handheld is designed like controller. Although I loved Sonic Mega Collection on Gamecube, and Sonic Gems if only because I FINALLY got to play Sonic CD. But emulators aren't really very well-designed, especially GBA ones...not for real-time games, anyway. Not so bad for turn-based stuff like Pokemon.

    I'll be 28 before you turn 20; I'd kill to be 20 again. xD
    Breath of the Wild is...something I'd say that is worth experiencing, but I honestly think it's been overblown more than a little. But I'm harder to please than most people and I'm not a huge fan of open world games with very little to do in them other than things you can just do with no gains...like climbing trees. You'd probably enjoy it more than I did, though. 2D games don't look great on TV these days, so handheld Sonic is best, because 2D Sonic is best <3

    I dunno if I could watch Sonic in Japanese...I often forget that he's a Japanese character. Probably because he's been in my life literally since I was old enough to like and dislike things...and because back then Western media was just as good and not crap like it is now, haha. I dunno, though...I like cringeworthy 90s/00s dubs! Watching Sonic subbed would be like watching Pokemon subbed, or Cardcaptor Sakura instead of Cardcaptors. But it might be an experience. xD

    ...just get all the things. Problem solved, haha. My little brother has a classic Sonic stress ball, and I keep debating buying one for myself. It just works so well.

    Uh...Animal Crossing, Baten Kaitos, Blood Omen 2, Twilight Princess, Tales of Symphonia, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes (keep wanting to replay that), Resi 4, Pokemon Colosseum, and a couple of Star Wars games. My brother has Mario Kart Double Dash and SSBM (the only good Smash Bros. in my opinion) and I'm pretty sure the Zelda collection disc that came with Mario Kart is floating around somewhere. Also have the Metroid Prime titles, but god knows where those are...and Echoes doesn't work. Well, the last time I played it the Spider Ball didn't work in the Quadraxis fight, meaning I couldn't kill it. Got the Wii collection as well anyway. xD

    I wish I still had mine...but I was very young and didn't take best care of my things back then. They have anthologies on Amazon, and they're quite cheap, but there are like 25 of them...plus companions. I was kinda bitter that we never got a sequel to Sonic Chronicles...and never will, because Bioware. Did you ever get the chance to play Sonic Battle on GBA? That was fairly good, I thought. The sprites are still pretty awesome even all these years later. I dunno why, but the sprites and general visual style of the Sonic GBA games make them my favourite games - they're bright, minimalistic, and very reminiscent of the Megadrive originals.

    Sonic Mania looks good! God, I want the special edition with that statue, but I'm not paying £80 for a bunch of stuff with a digital code...that's kinda offensive, haha. Both Mania and Forces are coming out on Switch, yeah. I'll probably get both for that, if only so I have something else to play on it. I'm getting Disgaea 5 in May, but it's gathering dust since I finished the rather disappointing Breath of the Wild. I'll get a lot of multi-platform titles for Switch though, due to the handheld mode. Handheld Sonic sounds lovely <3

    Sonic X started off amazing, but it kinda wound down for me towards the end...although at least it HAD an end, unlike Sonic Underground. I never got a Dreamcast, given how much it cost back in the day, although my next-door neighbour had one. Sonic Boom's character designs put me off...Knuckles especially, OMG. But yeah, some of the jokes are surprisingly...mature. It reminds me of a WB cartoon sometimes, where it's clearly aimed at kids yet very mindful it'll have an adult audience and can slip in things they'll find amusing too. xD

    The Gameboy Player? I had one of those! Pretty novel idea, I thought. Not sure why I wanted to play handheld games on my TV back in the day when I've always preferred handhelds to consoles, but even so. I kinda wish they'd make something like that now for backwards compatability...but that'd defeat the point of the digital storefront I guess. I think the only reason I'd unpack my Wii from wherever it is would be for the few Gamecube games I have left. xD

    Not though. Check the name change request thread.
    Did you play A Hero's Tail? I wished Bianca would've been in it, with such great graphics and all ^-^;
    Thanks a lot! I love classic Spyro too <3 I have a collection of gifs from the game but I like this one too much to change it ^-^;

    Too late, your son is DEAD. I... am sumire.

    Well, I quite enjoyed Heroes and Shadow too, actually...Heroes especially for including comic characters. Team Chaotix, holy crap. Did you ever get to read the comics? I wish they'd do something like making Super Sonic a separate entity in the games. The closest we've had to a story-driven Sonic was Sonic Chronicles though, and that was...weird. Good, but weird. But the modern titles feel like completely different things to me, since I grew up with the Megadrive originals and, like Mario, I don't think Sonic made the leap to 3D as gracefully as he could have...no issue with dodgy camera angles or questionable voice acting in the 2D games, after all. Sonic was there before Pokemon for me too; I watched the TV series, read the comics, ran up and down the hallway, tried and failed spin-dashing, etc. If Sega were still in the console business and didn't keep trying to reinvent Sonic every game I'd probably support them first and foremost! Sonic Boom makes me sad...although the writing for the show is very clever sometimes, from what little I've seen.

    Finding a retro title for an affordable price in store these days is an impossibility, haha...I don't have a Gameboy Colour or even a GBA now either, sadly. Well, I have an SP but I've lost the charge lead, and the Micro doesn't play older titles...but there is always emulators, haha. I didn't actually get to play Amazing Mirror until it was made an Ambassador title on 3DS, which is probably why I don't think of it as fondly...nostalgia will out, haha. I wouldn't mind trying the console Kirby titles somewhen, or maybe Crystal Shards on VC...I think that was Wii-only though, and my Wii is packed up god knows where.

    I'm too lazy to change it up right now anyway. xD

    I liked Generations, but a part of me feels that the Sonic Advance titles were the last good Sonic games we had...they reminded me so much of the Megadrive originals! I sold them at some point, but made a point of buying them again later on when I had the money; I still play them sometimes on the bus, haha. The Kirby GBA games were great too, but I think Nightmare in Dreamland edges out over Amazing Mirror for me...juuuust a little. Have you had the chance to play Planet Robobot on 3DS yet? That was amazing; it felt like a return to form after Triple Deluxe (and Canvas Curse before that) were a bit of a letdown for me. Kirby is good clean platforming fun though...need a Kirby Switch game ASAP. xD

    Huuuuh. If I'd known that, I would have wanted them as a kid...I didn't see much Hamtaro, but it was a moderately big thing back in the day, and it was cute.

    Thanks. I wanted to make it mixed blue/pink/purple, but the colours wouldn't co-operate with me, so I went all purple for a change. xD
    P
    I meant your favourite antagonists. xD;

    I do wish they'd put some more GBA titles on the 3DS...the Sonic Advance games were fantastic. I've still got my original cartridges and a working Gameboy Micro though, so it's not a huge loss. I wasn't aware there was a Hamtaro game on the Gameboy though :o

    Don't you recognize your own child? :(
    P
    Oh? Who are some of your favourites? :3

    I bought all of my childhood favourites the second they appeared, haha, and the N3DS having a SNES VC has given me access to some titles I didn't have otherwise anymore, like Super Metroid. I don't know why I keep buying all these. xD;
