I'm not sure if this poses that much of a problem. We have "canon" designs for the Pokémon trainers, as can be seen on the scans of corocoro. I'm assuming they'll be using those in the next installment. Pokémon is one of the biggest franchises of Nintendo. It'd be a shame to leave them out of the next SSB.
The Avatar doesn't even have an official artwork (except with the hood on), that's why I think the designs for the trainers are more "canon" than the costumisations of your unit in FE.

And although I'm only half-way through FE:A, I don't see why Chrom isn't a main character. Maybe not the main character, but definitally a main character. He, or Lucina, might just as well be there to fight alongside his ancestor.

I prefer Reeking Boxes since I'm past that point where you have so much money you don't know what to do with it. Besides, Reeking Boxes are always profitable, especially on harder locations.

Good thing, if you let her die and finish the chapter, the only way to recruit her is to restart the game all over again. If you find it too difficult, you can skip the chapter for now, Paralogues are side chapters after all.

You can buy reeking boxes after chapter 5 and those can really help with grinding and obtaining a lot of gold. They cost 500 each and summon Risen to whichever area you are currently at, there is always at least one Risen that drops Bullion (S) there which can be sold for 1000 :B

I found that using the stat increasing items on him make it a lot easier to train him. You do abuse Reeking Boxes right? Good for farming exp, gold, and items.
