I'm very glad for your friend, but I have no reason to believe that something that is entirely absurd and makes no sense is likely to succeed. I apologise if you or your friend think I'm being harsh, but I am trying to point out the flaws in his idea in the only way I know, namely using words. I don't think I'm really at fault for getting a bit annoyed when he completely ignores most of them. His personal problems are not my concern; if I have issues in my life, I would not expect others to tell me my work was good if it was awful. It helps no-one. I have tried to be civil in my comments, but clearly that is too unkind.
As for Ruby Destiny, I've never heard of it, and I don't see why it is relevant in the slightest. However, I have an example of my own. The game "Blue Chrome" in the showcase is being made by a guy who, when he first joined, wanted to put every region in a game and had ridiculous ideas of his own, and little to no RMXP experience or skills. However, he took on board some of the criticism, worked on fixing holes in his original idea, and tried to learn about game design. His is now one of the best looking and most coherent works in progress we have.
Unfortunately, Luka is the exception, not the rule. MegamanDX needs to read others' criticism, and instead of spouting increasingly confusing plotlines and twists that make even less sense than the original plot and do nothing to improve the game, he needs to take it on board and try to change his ideas. If he doesn't want to, that is up to him, but I have no obligation to "believe in his dream" either.
