6th Gen When are you getting pokemon x and y

Of course, I would love to purchase it the day of its release, but unfortunately I'll most likely be busy or unable to do so. Hopefully, by the end of the first week I'll own Pokemon Y. I want to pre-order it but I just don't have the money. The game is definitely worth it, though.

6th Gen New Type Confirmed: Fairy!

Fairy type is going to benefit the competitive battling community in a big way. Dragon types are a staple on every team nowadays, as their power and bulk are unmatched. Now, I see fairies becoming staples as well as the most reliable dragon counters, beating even Ice types that would take down...

6th Gen Gym Leaders/Elite Four and Champion Discussions

Pertaining to the gym leaders already confirmed, Viola as the first gym leader is great. I never liked the first gym leader rock-type theme, so I'm happy that they're finally straying away from that norm. I like her concept as well, and I think it's good that they are going that far in depth...

    6th Gen Starter Pokémon

At first glance, I thought Froakie was alright and the other two were real contenders for my choice, but it looks like this gen is going to be another where I box the starter after my first team capture. I do that for pretty much every region other than Hoenn, actually. I have just never found...

    6th Gen July Coro-Coro: 5 New Pokemon + Xerneas & Yveltal typings + Oorotto

Yveltal's typing is not nearly as surprising as Xerneas, but to me both of them are pretty interesting. I think once fairy was released, it could have been inferred that Xerneas would be Fairy type, but no one would have guessed it to be pure. On the other hand, Yveltal looks the part of...

    Passive, or AGGRESSIVE?

I usually try to play the right style at the right time so that it benefits me the greatest amount, but a lot of the time I end up playing completely in aggression. I can be a little too impatience when it's needed, haha. I think being aggressive is rarely a bad decision, just because of how...

Don't Judge a Book By its Cover, but...

Box art are always an added bonus to a good game, and I enjoy them, but they're obviously incapable of saving a bad game from its mediocrity. However, it probably does help when there are people who aren't as informed on video game quality and see the appealing art, and then purchase it just for...

    Cube World

Cube World is a Voxel-based adventure RPG baring a lot of similarities to the popular Sandbox game Minecraft. Even though it just looks like just a cheap ripoff at first glance, the only real similarity is the graphic type, being voxels. This game been getting quite a bit of fame lately, so I...

    Graphic-Wise...

I think a perfect example of what you're talking about here is Child Of Eden. If you look at some of the screenshots of the game, it contains a lot of bright lights, flashes, and other visually appealing scenes. Other than that, the game was pretty hollow and had no depth, level structure, or...

    Video Games DCC

On the topic of the splash picture, one depicting a group of characters from Nintendo and Sega, and then some from FPS games and MMORPGs. Unfortunately, that will be pretty tough to do haha. :c

Nope you're not getting a penny out of me until -75% happens

For PC games, waiting is preferable, but for anything else, I usually just buy it when I want it. PC games definitely go on sale much more often and they aren't usually in high demand so I can wait to buy them.

    Hello!

Hey, thanks so much! I'll definitely be hanging around, haha. The forums look like a lot of fun, and I can't wait to meet more people and get to know all of y'all. Thanks again! (:

"I miss my Super Mario Sunshine..."

Kirby Air Ride, man, that game is wonderful. It was sort of rare as well, I have no idea where it disappeared to. It was weird in a way that the game mode that looked strange and out-of-the-way (City Trial) happened to be the the most fun and popular one. I could play it for hours at a time...

    Favorite type of Controller?

I have to say the SNES; although the games on SNES usually mapped buttons in a stupid way, the setup was simple and easy to use, just 4 buttons and a D-Pad. All you need for a fun game.

    Super Smash Bros. Discussion

SSBB has always been one of my favorites. It's one of those games that you can play over and over again, day in day out, and not get tired of. Some of the games that are meant to be that way fail by lacking in other categories, but Brawl is not lacking in any category I'm aware of. Entertaining...
