Yes, but there are a lot of people who are not like Charlie, and who are forced to come to school while sick so that they won't fail the grade. Then there are people like me who should not go there in the first place. Our educational system is formed in a different fashion than yours, we have neither quality or quantity. Instead, simple concepts are overcomplicated so that nobody gets anything. However, by reading other books you can easily and quickly make up for the gaps left by our educational system. Thus, it would be perfectly possible to skip the whole year, study for two weeks, and go and ace at the exams. Lack of a limit would be perfect, as I would not go to school at all, ace my exams, and get tons of hours to actually study productive things on my own.
Have you considered studying at home instead of going to school? If you have a good book, teachers are useless anyway.
