Last I checked for "Soapy", the username was taken and they haven't made any posts. But it hasn't been 4 years yet. Also I'm sure Soapie isn't taken but people seem to love the heart. I just regret it because it's a pain typing it/logging in :P

I'm not sure if it's not already devaluated. Cloning does that, and it's only by restricting redistribution that you can ensure Pokémon don't get cloned by the hundreds. Like Eppie's Mew, it is one of the only legit Shiny ones, and a lot of cloners own it. Imagine how much a Pokémon gets cloned :( How valuable is this Mew?
Also by accepting breedables for Shinies, I help those that don't usually have the resources to trade Shinies with large shop owners.

But since I RNG breed, gender doesn't take more time if they ask for IVs. Nature and Gender I can breed blindly in a few minutes, but I don't have the time for IVs, hence why I RNG those. So I could drop IV breeding, and every single Pokémon will be bred in French. I don't have as much requests nowadays anyway ;-;

The Shiny problem is actually anchored in the cloning mentality. Every single shop here offers the same Pokémon. For exemple, MechaMoth gave me an Event, and he traded it to Tyranitar06 as well. Flan came to my shop and asked for that very event. So now 4 of the top shops have that same event. It happens all the time. Our shops get bloated and people don't have enough things to offer us, since us cloners have everything. That is the major downside to cloning. By giving away my own very restricted Pokémon, normal traders here have a chance to get a Pokémon they like, or trade it around to shop owners that don't have my Pokémon.

And that is my new goal, as mod. I joined this forum first to expand my own collection, not to share my passion with other people. Now that I am mod, I need to help this family thrive and grow; this can start in the Trade Corner. A lot of people join to trade, I want to make them stay, like I did. Wow that was inspiring lol

I don't know if you saw my changes today, mostly to my second post. I'm not sure what to do, I thought about dropping the breeding section since it's time consuming. But I'm one of the only top shop with this many Rareballs, and I want to continue collecting them.
I thought about cutting down my Shinies section. IDK, so many problems, so little solutions; my ultimate goal is to bring in activity, my shop isn't top prio anymore, but a tool to achieve my goal.
There is fair points to both sides of this debate. I don't know how much it will help but if I can find a reliable source of clean Marijuana I'll be happy.

How would I do that? Adding another section would just separate everything a lot more, I have too many sections already. People don't even read anyway, I get asked questions all the time that is included in my info. I changed the layout a bit recently in hopes that it'll help and nope.

They are in the shop because I only want stuff I don't already have. This way people can see that for exemple, I already have a Shiny Pokémon Ranger Manaphy. No point in offering one, unless I can distribute the one they offer. It also helps me track what I have, since I don't have a spreadsheet. Maybe I should specify it, but I'm not the only Trade Shop with this.
Also because some traders changed their distribution rights after we traded.
