Hey, random question - do you have a spare Deep Sea Scale in ORAS that you could give a Pokemon to hold it and trade it to me? I tried to look for a Gorebyss via GTS in Sun but due to hackers offering hacked pokemon my game freezes within seconds.

I plan to get a Gorebyss for my Sun playthrough this way:
- Catch a Clamperl with the Good Rod in AS
- Get a Pkmn that holds a Deep Sea Scale via Trade
- Give it to my Clamperl and do a Tradevolution
- Send my Gorebyss from AS to Bank
- Then, send it from Bank to Sun

Yukimono, that's a cute one. It's a clever way to bring together the theme of the yukionna ice demon that she's based on, and the kimono she wears. I think it's a kimono, because yukata is more casual and lightweight to wear in summer, and this is a pokemon of winter. Game Freak could have actually chosen Yukimono as an alternative pokemon name i think to Froslass, so cute. Would you like to trade in Home maybe, Swsh? I did catch her on an older game, so i can potentially do a 6 or 7 trade too, but was thinking Switch might be better.

Can you nickname my Duraludon Doubletree? This pokemon reminds me of a building, and I had fond memories staying in that hotel, eating the hot cookies they bake.

I like that you can take selfies with your pokemon, it's like Cameron the photographer from hgss, but bright, shiny and new for the current generation. I like your character design too the freckles and blue hair are cute. When I play Violet I will be taking some pictures to add to the selfie thread.

I love Sprigatito's expression as he's about to pounce on the toy rattata, it looks devilish. I took a look at the whole thread. Don't mind me if I go around leaving a thumbs up on trading card after trading card. I'm having a good time checking out your showcase. The refreshing drink and shrewd salescat move sounds like fun ways to get rid of status, I wish they were real. I can't wait to see the the final stage evo become a tcg work of art.

One shiny female Snorunt with ice body coming up! Is there are nickname you want to give her? I am able to give to add one, if you fancy. The same goes for Vibrava, also a girl. I can't remember if she is adamant or jolly, but would be one or the other. I would love Duraludon, and it will have a good home with me!

On the game, I didn't lose my money fortunately and was able to work out a resolution with the seller. I just had other expenses crop up, as they always seem to just when I want to relax and buy a small treat, I broke my glasses. Since there other things I needed to get, I just used the refund money for that.

I will probably get Violet either as a Valentine's Day now, instead of a Christmas present or maybe on Easter at the latest.

I agree with you about thr whole Sprigatito line looks enchanting, and Sprigatito was always cute, Floragato is rockin some attitude too, and Meowscarada is cool, sassy and striking. Which starter did you get Rekoil? Fueocco, Sprigatito or Quaxly?

Cynthia was the first champion back in Diamond 10+ years ago that took me like 5-8 tries xD
Had to teach a few of my Pokemon TMs just before this battle, which was kinda new to me + tried a few times in the hope that the stars would align a little bit better for me (crit hits, misses from the champion, doing just enough damage so she doesn't use Full Restores, etc.).
Before that (Sapphire, Gold, maybe even Red) I used TMs on my pokemon too, but probably not for the sole reason to defeat the champion lol.

Was there ever a champion you had most trouble with? Or who was at least memorable for you?

Also I remembered something: Back in Sword/Shield I helped you out a little bit with Pokemon having Hidden Abilities. Maybe I manage to catch a few interesting mons that might interest you (maybe I already have something in my 16-18 boxes, I have to check xD). I assume you have a Looking for/Offering trade sheet for that game too, right?

I'm glad to hear that I can offer you something that you don't already have. I have an ice body one, and one with the hidden ability moody, and can trade you either depending on your preference, they are both modest girls. You are really building up your ice collection beautifully, congrats on all your finds, and you sure are lucky in Paldea, catching shiny sneasel and snover + 3 other types of pokemon in a normal playthrough. And double happy news that you fought your way into that Cinderace raid after all! Apriball, hidden ability starter? Heck yeah! You're on a roll Rekoil! Woohoo! Did you spot any dragon share dragons you wanted BTW?

I alas have not explored Paldea yet, game never came. Since I was short on money last month, I decided to wait and buy the game later. But I will travel across the Iberian peninsula soon. When the time comes I will select sprigatito. I had my eye on the grass kitten from the beginning, but was non-commital until final forms were revealed just in case they ruined the last stage design the way they did with the Litten line, but I'm cool with how Meowscarada turned out, and my choice is now cemented!

I think I mentioned this to you before, but if I didn't, I loved your Grumpig bouncy castle trading card, and crossed team lines and voted for you since we were allowed to pick three, yours and the trevenant line fakemon card were my favorites from the get together. I like you what you did with the spoink card, it looks really good and is quite clever, emphasizing this pokemon's dizzying quality and how it knows moves that make opponents confused. It seems like an attack this pokemon could actually be capable of. Very good!

I like Koraidon more than Miraidon tbh. I played almost exclusively Scarlet + beat it first and because of that it really grew on me.
Too bad its typing sucks (Fighting/Dragon, 4x weak to Fairy).

From what I could tell, Miraidon is the better choice competitively. There was a Collab Video with False Swipe Gaming in which they said that the best Miraidon counter would be a yet non-existing Ground/Fairy type.

Oh well, can't have everything. I was Team Zacian in Gen 8, which broke the metagame, so yeah.

Tbh most - if not all of the Past Paradox Pokemon - grew on me over time.
But I like Flutter Mane and Scream Tail. Great Tusk is also my favourite and Roaring Moon looks nice too.
"Worst" for me would be Shocking Sands tbh, took me a while to accept this one lol

Regarding future Paradox Mons, I really like Iron Bundle and Iron Thorns. If I had to pick a third one, then it would be Iron Moth I guess.
Ngl, Iron Valiant looks cool too and it has a great typing.
Worst in this category for me is definitely Iron Jugulis. Whenever I see it, my mind goes like "yeah, that's just a Hydreigon" lol

Those and the Cram-o-mat from SwSh DLC is what I dislike the most lol. Shoutout to the OG named Kurt, who is still the MVP when it comes to providing Apriballs. Sure, it sucks that it takes a whole day to make an apriball, but I'd take that any day than a 0.0001% chance in an RNG mechanic xD

But hey, you can catch them in atleast one apriball and breed those, so the offspring inherits the apriball.
Maybe you'll meet someone online who goes for the same thing and happens to catch the starters too but in a different apriball.

Oh okay. They always need to have that one Apri Ball that you have to get in a different way xD Like with SwSh, you get all the apriballs from the Ball Guy except for the Fast Ball (which you get after getting certain points on the Rotom Rally) - like how was I supposed to know that? >_> lol

Then again, I can understand that since people hack in like 999 Master Balls (I joined a Dynamax Battle once that had a Shiny Bulbasaur and 999 Master Balls as a reward lol - totally legit xD Kept those Master Balls however, just if I need to catch something in-game in one go).

Now that you mention it...we never had the Galarian Starters in Dyna Raid Battles, right? Or am I misremembering something?

Nice :D Maybe someday, at a random point, I decide to get those from you too. Altough I'm still sad that not all of Gen 2 starters did make the cut in Scarlet/Violet :( BD & SP are the worst when it comes to training, TM farming and getting it competitive ready.

Ah cool :D Can you somehow easily as many Apriballs as possible in Sun? Or do I have to create them in the Virtual Console version of Pokemon Crystal (which I got too), send Pokemons holding an apriball to Pokemon Bank and send it to Sun?

At first I wanted to get Sun & Ultra Moon. After learning that the characters story arcs were made worse in the Ultra Versions and that the Trainer Battle Theme isn't as nearly as epic as in Sun imo, I decided to go with Sun only lol. But SM are definitely a step up from XY.

The Friend Ball Serperior also sounds nice :D My wishlist already keeps increasing lol

I hope too. Some of them may be bad, but it would be nice to have them in the mainline Switch Generation of Pokemon Games too.

Btw, I bought a used New 3DS weeks before Scarlet/Violet and got Pokemon Sun too. Didn't make it far into this game yet but so far I enjoy it too. From what I played so far, I could tell why - prior to Scarlet/Violet - these were the best 3D Pokemon Games for many people.

Too bad that you can't recieve and save Trainer Cards from other trainers :O Also, Scarlet/Violet could really use some more and better box themes (you have BDSP so you know what I'm talking about lol)

If you check the available Pokemon for New Pokemon Snap and/or for Scarlet/Violet on Serebii than that might help a little bit.
