I've never really looked into how you obtain Shinies by chaining, I've just traded all mine :D If you can, get Voltorb + Ponyta, I don't know why i just like the transition from Red to Blue. Also, shiny Eeve, so you can get Shiny Umbreon :D

I fail to understand how a sprite no bigger than a few pixels wide on your DS can scare you. Also, the sprites aren't even spooky looking, just look like normal people, could have made them translucent or something, maybe unsaturated in color.
